  1. Same here. Although I did the same with KOTOR I, where I'd give up at the beginning of the Star Forge.
  2. Um? He wasn't trained by Qui-Gon. He was Qui-Gon's former master. <_<
  3. Grievous reminds me of the cheap Transformer knock-offs, known as Go-Bots.
  4. I see ppl stating that *fact* a lot on these boards. What is the evidence for this theory? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, the only conclusion that seems certain is that Lucasfilms considers the "official" Revan to be LS. They've yet to confirm a gender. And even the LS officiality depends on how you interpret the databank entry for the Star Forge and various stuff about the other KOTOR1 characters, making it sound like the LS ending took place. I've yet to see anything "official" about the Exile.
  5. I voted for BG, mainly because while I enjoyed both PST and BG equally, I'm currently playing BG so it's more fresh in my mind.
  6. Already a thread for a bunch of ideas for KOTOR3 here.
  7. I play games better when I've lost control of my motor functions.
  8. I tried to get in to Jedi Academy, but I could never get the hang of the "twitch" factor to enjoy it. Often times I'd get stuck and give up because I wasn't able to do some double flip thingy to get to a certain level, rarely ever being stuck due to the puzzles or combat itself. I did, however, enjoy the Dark Forces game, mainly because I had more patience for twitch gaming back then.
  9. This is a bit off topic, but what you described isn't exactly in character for what being a Sith Assassin would entail. They aren't thieves, they aren't killers for no apparent reason. They aren't thugs-for-hire. They do the bidding of their master. And I doubt a Sith Lord would say "gee, um, you know Darth Jimmy, I'm lacking in the diamond rings and flatscreen TV department. Could you do me a favor and sneak into someone's house to steal their shizzat for me? Thanks a bunch."
  10. Where exactly do you people shop? At the very least, even if they won't give me a money-back refund, they'll let me put the price of the game towards the purchase of a different game they have in stock.
  11. By having some off-handed reference to them going off to the outer reaches of the galaxy during a conversation the new PC has with some drunk in a cantina?
  12. If this is the case, I wonder how soon until people are actually disappointed they continued the BG series. I'm guessing they won't be using the IE, so the visual look of the game will look vastly different to begin with (and possibly the combat and interface, depending on how much that was IE-specific). It might end up being a completely different game (than what everyone is expecting a BG to be) with the name "Baldurs Gate" slapped on the front cover.
  13. This shouldn't even be a debate. Revan is quite clearly a male. The only argument should be whether HE is LS or DS.
  14. Nah. It would open a whole new can of worms about who exactly this so-called "True Sith" are, and how that corresponds with known information about what is already known as the Sith in the SW universe.
  15. This suddenly explains why TotJ ranks so high with you... As for me, the Thrawn Trilogy. Not necessarily my favorite, but the one that got me interested again in Star Wars.
  16. That's kind of taking your fantatisism (for lack of a better word) to the extreme is it not? I, personally, think of Revan as male, since that's what I played as and felt the story made more sense with Revan as male, since the Bastila romance was more indepth than the Carth one. However, if there was some kind of official statement where they made a television series or movie and deemed Revan to be female, I wouldn't be bothered by it.
  17. You can solve it LS as well, although I can't recall if you actually get LS points.
  18. Is that your actual name or just some online alias?
  19. Is it me or is Volourn arguing with someone who actually has past experience with the ins and outs of the actual business and who would better know just how much "responsibility" the various different pieces of the puzzle should bear?
  20. Yes <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shush you. Thanks Hades...errr I mean....new Hades.
  21. So have you actually played the game yet? Seen for yourself whether YOU will actually need a patch or not? Or are you still using other people's opinions as yours to try and prove a point? Just curious.
  22. Well yeah, I've heard of Star Trek before. But just not in terms of some kind of ruleset for the PnP game.
