  1. That's news to me. Last time I read Bioware's stance on it they said nothing was in the works currently.
  2. Still haven't been able to convince my roommate to pick this up yet.
  3. Not sure if I'd want to see Luke Skywalker, Han Solo or Princess Leia in the game. I wouldn't mind some of the "lesser" characters from the New Republic era, but not any of the movie characters.
  4. Which is why I'm surprised Aurora hasn't received a "warning" in her PM box from your friendly neighborhood Mike Gallo yet. :D
  5. And why does it say "when you kill HIM"? Wasn't Master Vash female?
  6. I think someone's been pulling your leg, because none of that stuff was mentioned in the patch they were working on. The "content" patch was nixed by Lucasarts, so that's not going to happen for the PC version either.
  7. Question for Volourn, Since you've played both JE and Vampire:tM-B, I was curious about the combat system. Are they similar where both "twitch" gaming and strategy are meshed? Or is JE's combat system different than Bloodlines'?
  8. I'm not sure why the length of JE is such a big deal. A lot of RPGs nowadays are short in length, such as both KOTOR I and II and Bloodlines. I've played all 3 and can't say it took me more than between 25 to 35 hours to complete each, and that's doing every sidequest imagineable, as well as just "exploring" the various cities/worlds. So it's not like JE is breaking the recent trend or something.
  9. I'm changing my nick to SparkleKittyPrincess. Sweet lord. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Hades_One already changed his name to that.
  10. Yeah, but that's not a RPG. I just figured some of the folk that a)like Jedi Knight and b)like RPG (which I assume people do if they're posting on here), would mean they'd be interested in a RPG set during that time period.
  11. Aurora just become number one on the Lucasarts hitlist.
  12. I'm actually surprised at how few votes Knight of the New Republic has gotten. I figured there'd be atleast a few more people interested in that time period. The only reason I didn't vote for it is because I want a conclusion to the KOTOR series first.
  13. KOTOR3. I want a conclusion to this series first before they even think about making a series (or single game) about different events. Unless, of course, they do both, then I won't have a problem with it. edit: wow I should probably read all the poll options. I guess my vote should have been for "both" instead. Heh. :">
  14. I'm surprised Go-To has gotten so many votes. I didn't particularly like the character (mainly because he didn't seem fleshed out), but I didn't find him annoying or hate-inducing.
  15. If you can do it within a short time frame and make sure it's out for Christmas, I wouldn't put it past Lucasarts to sign you up. I think it's safe to say that quality is the furthest thing on their minds when determining what games to make and how long to allow them to be made.
  16. Since I've yet to play the game, I don't have an actual opinion on which review is more accurate in terms of my tastes. However, I just found it funny that the gamespot review and the IGN review had scores that were so far apart. Say what you will about the KOTOR series, but generally the main review sites all rated it within 2 to 6 points of each other (ie. 8.5 to 9.1), making the reviews seem accurate. The fact that there is a wopping 15 points between gamespot and IGN, and 14 points between IGN and 1up is a bit curious. Perhaps my "rating" scale differs from theirs, but when someone gives the game a 9.9, then that infers it's as close to perfect as a game can get. And from what I've seen, most games that score that or near that, generally garner those same scores across all review sites (for instance, GTA:SA has high scores across most gaming sites). Yes, different tastes and all that, but I just find the difference in ratings rather puzzling.
  17. It's as finished as it's going to be, barring user made stuff.
  18. Not a fan of the Unreal engine, I take it?
  19. I actually had time to read the full reviews. Wow, it seems the review wasn't very positive. The ease of combat seems like the same complaints people had with KOTOR 1 and 2, and the fact that the reviewer made it sound like punching buttons has more effect on combat outcome than the character's stats makes me a bit worried. I don't mind if it's like Vampire: the Masquerade's combat, where it was some kind of mix of action and RPG style combat. Hopefully it's not too "twitch" oriented. In honesty though, after reading that review I'm less enthusiastic about playing it than I was.
  20. Wtf? How does a game score a 9.9 on one site (IGN), but score so low (relatively) on another site (gamespot)? 9.9 score makes it sound like almost perfect. 8.4 makes it seem slightly above average. This discrepency is another reason why it's so hard to take these reviews seriously. <_<
  21. Nope. Overuse of her accent would spoil it and it would just become annoying. Just like I love (albeit in a different way) James E. Jones' voice for Darth Vader, I'd hate it if he voiced every masked character.
  22. Jar Jar. It was the dumbest character because GL tried too hard trying to make him seem both comical, and loveable, but went too far and just made him annoying and unfunny.
  23. While it doesn't necessarily explain away everything, the fact that Luke is "The Chosen One's" offspring suggests that comparing his progression in the Force to that of just "regular" Jedi is invalid. I think the only person you can compare Luke's growth in the Force with over a specific period of time is that of his father's, and Anakin seemed to have the same type of learning curve as Luke.
