  1. Worst, in comparison to the others, was probably IWD. But I still enjoyed it. I just didn't enjoy it as much as the other RPGs I've played. As much as I complain (okay maybe I don't complain all that much) I haven't really played any RPGs that I hated. There have been times when one or two may have annoyed me to no end (Vampire Bloodlines' sluggish performance), but none that I didn't enjoy playing.
  2. What a....pointless thread.
  3. I don't think you should be too hard on Sundin. His performance has been brutal, but I have it on good authority that his eye injury is still a major problem for him and that his vision is probably closer to about 50% than 100% in that eye still. I believe Tellqvist is ready to be the number one, but I don't think it will happen as long as they have Eddie and his ridiculous $4.6 million contract on the books. Ownership simply wouldn't allow them to sit that much money on the bench.
  4. Drizzt Do'Urden > all of you
  5. I believe it's supposed to put the big three (Luke, Han, Leia) as untouchables.
  6. Poor Hades, always crating drama for himself.
  7. And if you lose the duel, instead of just getting a "game over" message, you see the result of the NPC hero winning.
  8. Belfour's been crap more often than not this year. He's not the same money goalie he was before a)age caught up to him and b)his back woes caught up to him. Anyone who thinks Belfour's crappy stats this year are solely the result of the defense in front of him (it does stink, but then again so does Florida's, but look at Luongo's stats) is seeing Belfour through rose colored glasses.
  9. You know what would be interesting? To have a NPC hero who is trying to achieve the same goals as your PC, but for different ends depending on your alignment. Almost like having a NPC alter ego of your PC trying to reach the same objectives as your PC, but faster, or at the same pace.
  10. So did anyone pass on my message to MCA that he's my hero?
  11. Vader is Father in Dutch, yes... but Darth? I wonder where in Holland they would go saying that... as I never heard about it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I always thought it was "Dark Father", as in Darth was Dark, Vader was Father.
  12. I like it when the Chosen One must choose.
  13. Pen and Paper Dungeons & Dragons
  14. It's not the same thing as declaring it for everyone in the channel to see.
  15. We're fighting over small print. It probably is like this: Atari wanted it on the Bio boards to keep both games on the same forum, and Bio agreed with Atari's wishes because they figured it meant more exposure for their own game(s). Therefore, it can still be Atari's idea. They just needed Bio's agreement since it was their boards.
  16. No it's not. And "funner" isn't a word.
  17. Simple answer? George Lucas makes things up as he goes and changes things whenever he feels he wants or needs to. The explanations for the Dark Lord of the Sith title then fall to the EU continuity gurus and that's the best they could come up with.
  18. There goes my chance to tell Chris Avellone that he's my hero.
  19. I've never had a big sister. Aren't you supposed to spoil me or something?
  20. The discussion was about whether Crosby was living up to the hype. All other discussion branched off from that. Right now, all we can discuss is his rookie season since it would be rather silly to say he hasn't lived up to the hype for the rest of his career when we have no proof of that. Everything else is moot since we can only judge him on what he's done (rookie season), and whether what he's done (rookie season) has lived up to the hype about him coming in to the season.
  21. By that definition, then nobody in the history of the NHL lived up to their hype since I can't recall a single rookie who dominated the league head and shoulders above all the veterans who were there for 5, 10, 15 years.
  22. So then, using your definition, he is in fact living up to the hype since, comparable to his peers (ie. rookies), him and Ovechkin are clearly a level above everyone else (Lundqvist is hard to judge since it's a different position). Based on that, that's why I don't understand why you (or it might have been Volourn) said he hasn't lived up to the hype. By your definition he has, since he's already head and shoulders above any other rookie aside from Ovechkin.
  23. The fact is, that at one point, whether it was a response to me or not, you DID say he has to put up numbers atleast close to Gretzky's numbers otherwise he doesn't live up to the hype. That's why I said you contradicted yourself, because you changed stance. Obviously you didn't repeat yourself otherwise there'd be no contradiction, correct? I couldn't be bothered to go through everything again and see what I said and what you said, so I'll ask you point blank right now: What does Crosby have to do, in your opinion, in order to "live up to the hype"?
