Bloodlines is good, as are the old IE games. However, I concur with whoever said Jade Empire. It's the closest to KOTOR, IMO.

If re-loading from a previous save doesn't correct the issue, then yeah I think you're going to have to bite the bullet and start over and hope it doesn't happen again on your next play through.

I was tempted to pick this game up while I was out and about looking for a new game.

It sounds like you've hit a glitch. If I recall properly (I haven't played the game in about a year) there's supposed to be a cutscene between Atton, Bao-Dur and the rest of the party play out, then it shifts back to either Mira or the Exile in the Jekk Jekk Tar. If your previous save games don't work, then I don't know what to tell you.

I tend to pick my lightsaber based on whatever "role" I'm playing. If I'm doing a DS character, it'll usually be a double blade (yay for the movies and Darth Maul). If I'm doing a LS character then single blade. I rarely used the shortblades for either alignment.

I don't think I brought GoTo off the Ebon Hawk even once. If I needed to learn his backstory I just spoke with him aboard the EH.

Sense of humor /= original character

Her butch look is not that pleasing to look at and her back story was not that thrilling either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree the hairstyle was horrible, however her backstory was better than pretty much all the NPCs, save for Atton and Kreia's.

I always wondered what the fascination with HK-47 was. IMO, Kreia was a deeper character, yet didn't get the same accolades.

I usually like to have a hardcopy of the game. My computer's extra wonky (Gluupor wonky) and if it crashes I'd rather have the knowledge I can easily reinstall.

I was going to pick up Hitman: Bloodmoney, but the store was out of stock when I went, and now I've lost the urge.

I think it's more that Lucasarts places a higher emphasis on profit than quality, and thus we, the gamer, haven't got many 'good' Star Wars games. However, the quantity is there. All within the past year are KOTOR II, Battlefront II, Episode III game, and Empire at War. Not to mention Star Wars Galaxies. As for new ones, no clue.
