Back to Baldurs Gate now after my NWN replay. I'm not into it though, so maybe I'll just skip to BG2.

Nice goal by Pisani to keep the Oilers alive. They're showing resillience, I'll give them that much. I'd love for them to come back and win the series, and I guess Saturday night is the next step (which also reminds me Sunday is Father's Day...yikes, gotta get a card for pops).

Finished SoU with a rogue/assassin character I made, and now I'm back to playing the OC with my fighter/weapons master.

I don't think I've ever played PS:T with a low WIS character. Does it make the game suffer?

Sorry, Alan, but it's true. Carolina's the better team. They look it, they play like it. Oilers got this far on guts and hard work. But Carolina's matching their guts and hardwork, so then it comes down to talent and Carolina's better.

I envy you. In some areas, my game looked as though it was going in slow motion. Or at worst, in combat, the enemy would be attacking me from down the hall one second, then when my screen finally moved, I'd already lost half health to the enemy clubbing me.

Me too. I haven't gotten around to Morrowind yet. Even after I made a thread about it way back when I first joined. It just never intrigued me, but with Oblivion getting good reviews I might check both out (but Oblivion will have to wait until I have a better computer than this P.O.S.).

He's a doo-dad! re: Bloodlines. I'll probably give it another run after I get a new computer. The slowdowns were so horrible I won't even bother attempting it again on this comp.

I don't know where to buy those. Amazon.ca doesn't have them (I'm not paying the shipping and customs charges for Amazon.com) and the local Chapters doesn't carry comics (or at least not when I last looked).

To get me into the "swing" of NWN2's release in a few months, I reinstalled NWN and all its expansions. I'm currently playing the OC, struggling through that.

Remembering how to score goals would be a start. Guys who have scored regularly for them during the regular season, like Samsonov, Stoll, Horcoff, Hemsky, etc. need to step up, and soon.

I'll probably get slack for it here, but I also want to play Mass Effect, which isn't PC.

Markannen or Conklin tonight? Damn. The Oilers not only have to win tonight, but IMO, need to win both their home games to have any shot in this series. Even if they win one, going back to Carolina down 3-1 would be difficult to overcome.

Agreed. The reason I play KOTOR and not Jedi Knight is because of the fact I don't want to have to rely on my reflexes to get through an area. The furthest I'll go in terms of "action-y" combat in a RPG is what Bioware did with Jade Empire. And that's only if it's insisted that more action-related combat is a must.

Well if you want to get technical, Drizzt has a lot to do with the Icewind Dale region, and thus can be sort of, kind of, related to IWD2, since the events take place in that region.

Worst, in comparison to the others, was probably IWD. But I still enjoyed it. I just didn't enjoy it as much as the other RPGs I've played. As much as I complain (okay maybe I don't complain all that much) I haven't really played any RPGs that I hated. There have been times when one or two may have annoyed me to no end (Vampire Bloodlines' sluggish performance), but none that I didn't enjoy playing.
