They already did, back in April. If you don't have the Season Pass tho, it's not free. I have it, haven't played to level. Was waiting for the Tina DLC first. ....it's called the Ultimate Vault Hunter’s Upgrade Pack, $5. Well damn. I don't have the season pass, so I guess no level increases for me. It's one of the reasons I stopped playing with my Commando.

Are they ever going to raise the level cap for BL2? Or will it remain at 50 for good?

Broke down and bought Resident Evil Revelations for the 360. I'm liking the story a lot so far, and the combat is pretty cool. The scanning is a neat addition, though it might become repetitive later on. Then again, I actually liked RE4 and RE5 when a lot of RE fans thought they were a sacrilege to the series.

MS's decision about connection to the internet might actually cause me to go for the PS4 instead. My net connection is generally solid, but it goes wonky at times. So I'd hate to buy a system that I won't even be able to play during those wonky periods, even if those are the only free gaming time I happen to have in a given week.

That's a bunch of really glowing reviews of the hands-off demo. Hopefully that level of quality reflects on the final product, and throughout, not just in one area or act. They're making a MASSIVE world that, from all accounts, dwarfs Skyrim, so it will be a tall task to populate the whole area with interesting things to do and encounter. Hopefully CD Projekt RED can pull it off. I have faith in them. I just hope they don't overextend themselves with this massive open world stuff.

Dragon Age III / The Witcher 3 trailers. Impressions?
GhostofAnakin replied to Rahelron's topic in Computer and Console
Did they add facial moles to Morrigan? Why does BioWare seem to like to do that? My male Shepard in ME3 had a massive mole on the side of his neck that wasn't there in ME1 and 2, and his back was covered in so many of them that I hope Dr. Chakwas screened him for skin cancer. -
Fear of women body in modern videogames
GhostofAnakin replied to obyknven's topic in Computer and Console
How come female game characters' bodies have to be realistic, yet a lot of the male characters look like He-Man? Guys have body image issues as well, you know! -
These Borderlands 2 DLCs are longer than most other DLC for games (cough Mass Effect 3 cough). I'm still working my way through the Torque challenge one for the past three days. The ME3 DLCs took literally one session of gaming.

I don't know where I'd be without my auto turrets. It's the only thing that actually seems to damage the enemies. My guns take forever just to whittle the shields down, let alone kill them.

I think XBox Live has found a scientific way of screwing me. Every single time I want to get a DLC, the price is always juuuuuust a bit more than my leftover balance from previous purchases. Latest DLC I want to get is 800 MS points. My current balance is 780.

Offical information?
GhostofAnakin replied to Promethyus's topic in South Park: The Stick of Truth: General Discussion
Looking forward to seeing footage of it at E3. -
Decided to go back to Borderlands 2. Finally got around to purchasing the DLC for it. I'm finding my weapons do very little damage, but my auto turret just kills everything with ease. I end up having to run around like a chicken with its head cut off when the auto turret needs recharging.

This truly is a horrible year when it comes to cRPGs being released for the consoles. I've never replayed more old games than I've been doing lately.

Man, am I regretting bothering with NHL13. I just don't like the changes they made to the physics in the game. It almost feels like a huge step back from where the previous versions were.

So is BioWare going to retcon TOR and the Revan novel so they can create a real KOTOR III? It's the one situation I'm 100% for a retcon.
-
That book, in general, was a travesty. It basically sacrificed Revan and the Exile in order to "pump up" the characters and setting for the TOR MMO.

Decided to play a bit of the original Mass Effect. Finally got around to unlocking some of the achievements I never got the first time around, like having a Turian squadmate in my party for 75% of the game. That actually surprised me since I could have sworn I used Garrus quite a bit before. It's got flaws, but I don't know. Something about the game is just ... the recent installments, especially the final one, just don't have the same ... feel to them? I can't quite place my finger on the "why" this is, but ME1 just seemed to capture the whole "campy but fun sci-fi space opera" atmosphere/feeling more than ME2 and ME3 did.

Finished the original BioShock. Definitely preferred Infinite to it. I liked the story more, even with the crazy last hour.
-
Playing Bioshock 1 right now. I prefer Infinite so far.
-
Almost finished BioShock Infinite. Liked it so much I went out and bought Bioshock 1 and 2 for cheap.

What kills replay value of DAO for me is, ironically, the origins and then Ostagar. Not that either are necessarily bad, but that they're LOOOOOONG. If I can get past those two sections and make my way to Lothering, I can generally get back into replaying the game.
-
Playing through Bioshock Infinite right now. I'm really enjoying it. Some games/stories just draw me in for a reason I can't quite place a finger on, and this is one of them.
-
I'm tempted to buy this since there's nothing else currently that interests me, but I've never played the previous installments. Will I be lost? Are they even connected?

1313 looked intriguing.

Started up a new Be A Pro career in NHL13. I don't know, the graphics look worse to me than I remember in previous versions. Not only that but the players move a lot more choppy and uncoordinated on the ice. The last time I played one of those games was NHL11, I believe (Patrick Kane on the cover), and it looked and played a lot better than this year's version, IMO.
