  1. Silent Hill 2 was a great scary game. Playing it in a room filled with shrieking collage girls was wicked fun.
  2. Grevious was weak.
  3. Even with a high-speed internet connection, I refuse to play MMO games.
  4. A pedophile is one who's interested in pre-pubescents. None of the women in KotOR qualify.
  5. Eddo36: "It says so in this book. And the author of that book wrote the storyline for KOTOR. BOOYAH!" Why does this make you happy?
  6. Surreptishus: "I think face to face contact is incredibly important when teaching..." I agree. I also think her choice would make it harder for children who are partially or completely deaf.
  7. I'm waiting.. for you. Just waiting. I'm waiting.. for you. Don't break my heart.
  8. I've decided that the Exile found a hidden compartment full of spice on her way to the turrets. Atton also found that compartment and used it often, which explains his excellent piloting skills. The stash was originally Kreia's, which explains... Kreia.
  9. Not interested but it seems I'm the only one.
  10. For those who are wondering.. I uninstalled again and reinstalled. This time the copy protection noticed I had a disk and the 'profile' screen loaded - in English. I used the Default profile and hit start... It immediately crashed to desktop.
  11. September 21, 2006 You know, I was walking through Fry's and I saw a number of games I had been interested in for some time.. My eyes strayed on this one and I thought, "This isn't one of those Big Name AAA games - Instead of spending my money on a game that I know is already doing well, I'll help out the little guy. After all, there are tons of great games that never got off the ground because they didn't have the publicity/franchise/well known developer that other games get." This is not one of them. This sucks Donkey Kong.
  12. Greetings fellow Obcitizens, I'm just posting an FYI on a PC-RPG I picked up today and my troubles with it. First off, no problems installing it but when I tried to launch the game a second program called "Micro Copy" popped up telling me I the disk wasn't in the cd-drive (it was). I restarted my computer and tried again, didn't work, I switched disks as two of them come with the game and it still didn't work. Despite the 45+ games I have, this is the first time I've had issues with copy protection. I then went online for a patch. The developer website had said it had one available but when I clicked on the 'download' button, I was simply returned to the front page. I went to the download section again, looked at the source html for that page, and, yes, where it says download is a link to the front page. I searched online and found two patches. I installed one and started up the game - it worked! But now my game is in German. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled, and used the second patch this time... Again, the game is in German. Frustrated, I decided to check the forums on the developer's website but they didn't have one. They did have links to two official websites for the game however: one in German and one in French. My system is over the recommended specs and I bought the CD at Fry's I continue to work with the program. Hopefully, I'll get it installed in *English* and love the game enough that this trouble is worth it.
  13. I doubt it was a suicide as the pilot issued a mayday. The airplane rapidly lost altitude, which suggests an engine stall. The strange thing is that this plane comes equipped with a parachute for the *entire* plane. The pilot merely has to reach up and pull a lever to deploy it.
  14. Capitalism as its best; if no one was willing to purchase the units at that price then there wouldn't be an issue. The only problem that I have with this is that the demographic willing to shell out these types of dollars end up having an inordinately high amount of influence in the type of games created for each platform. As the price for these systems rise, more people who'd be willing to shell out $50 for a game will be turned off from the high up front cost of the system. I predict that a company will someday release a gaming platform for 100 or less - or even for free.
  15. Walsingham: "One thing I did find interesting was the way they took so many elements and put them into NWN. Like the trials and so on. Only somehow they became rubbish in NWN." I too find it interesting how they reached through time and space, brought a copy of KotOR to the year 2002, and so poorly copied parts of it.
  16. mkreku: "This is what you should have gotten for those $130: Sapphire Radeon X1650PRO 256MB GDDR3." 1. According to that website, I have to pay extra for the warrantee. 2. That card wasn't on the market three months ago.
  17. I agree completely that Peragus needed an explosive finish. From a meta perspective, the Sith shootout was a good idea. From an in-game perspective, it's the wrong side of baffling.
  18. I don't have a PCI Express so got a x1300 pro for $130. Both Photoshop and Oblivion run as smooth as lamb silk with it so I plan on keeping it until I have to have a new computer.
  19. Llyranor: How would you rate the writing/story from a scale of 1 to 10 - 1 being Bethesda and 10 being MCA?" It's good to meet someone else who appreciates the Maritime and Coastguard Agency's written words.
  20. That'd be a child's nipple; their offices would be sacked and burned.
  21. Please bear with me. I'm replying the game right now and have finished Peragus. Before I board the Ebon Hawk, I'm swarmed with Sith Troopers I have to shoot at with my turrets. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. Scion doesn
  22. Darque: "Malnourished.. but not creepy." Oh, I think they eat *quite* well. It's will be interesting, however, to see if there's any public reaction to a game that rewards players for beating little girls with a wrench.
