Well, from what I remember, in the game TIE Fighter Ion cannons were used to disable ships. That is probably why Eddo is making the connection with EMP and ion.

Maybe they could crack out a game without working weekends, but not at the level we expect the game to be at. I think working weekends is part of a project based job. When the deadline comes up, you work more to get the work done.

Good Point. I have seen on a couple of developer posts that they can't really pinpoint an exact date for the release. They said they have their deadline and it is up to LA after that.

Sentinel/Jedi Master. I never really tried to play sentinel in the first game, so I figure I should start this one off doing that.

You did need some place to spend the ridiculous amounts of credits you "earned" throughout the game. Hell, the first time I played through, and I didn't know about the special crystals, and I did just fine. I think I only visited Yavin once and didn't buy anything from there. I hoarded all of my credits for some reason. I say give the powerful items. If you want them, they are available, and if you don't want them, then don't buy them.

Well in order for TSL to be an effective seller in the holiday season, it would have to come out within the first week of december to give shoppers plenty of time to purchase and retailers plenty of time to restock after the game sells out. And to me two months is a huge jump on the release date.
