  1. I bought KotOR because it was a Star Wars game, and now I like CRPG's. Now were is my goodie bag for voting?
  2. For some reason I think we will find out the fate of Revan in some kind of narrative. I don't think we will actually see Revan in person. For me it seems like it will be kind of hard to pull off given all the variables.
  3. I could be wrong, but I believe since this...I guess I can say series has the Star Wars D20 rules and in D20 the Jedi classes are guardian, sentinel, and consular. I think it would be cool if they add another (or more than one) class for a Jedi. They would have to develop all the aspects of the class, but they are the pro's and that is what they are paid to do.
  4. What about the berserk for Wolverine in the X-Men game for Sega Genesis? That was awesome. Lightside Consular works out because you end up with so much FP that you can afford the alignment penalties when using the Darkside powers. Plus you have to use more strategy in combat. You can't just spam force powers or jump in and slice everyone into pieces.
  5. Yeah, if you want to be lame. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I guess since you are god, you choose what is lame and what isn't.
  6. Eddo loves the poll option.... I picked the last one because the second option was kinda weird and it sounds like that is something Eddo might have experienced because who can think of something like that?
  7. I voted 3 because it just makes sense to me to have one Sith Lord for each prestige class.
  8. Sounds like Jet Li needs a hug. On the HK thing, I find it unlikely that if you encounter him in the game it will be because it is trying to kill you. I don't have any good reasons, I just don't think it will happen.
  9. Try and think how many light side Jedi wear helmets in the Star Wars movies. I can't think of any. I think Vader might be the only Force user that wears a helmet. The helmet thing would only be cool if it didn't remind me too much of Vader's helmet. Then it would just be a lame copy.
  10. Then there would have to be a Rat-like Jedi Master. And his name would be Jedi Master Splinter.
  11. I forgot to add that. When small droids take out jedi, I think it is time to move on.
  12. Keeping the same main characters and PC sounds alright for a little bit. If we played as Revan again and ended light and went dark that means that Revan went from Light to Dark to Light and back to Dark. I don't know about you, but I would prefer not to be playing a game that is an alignment rollercoaster. Also, you had the ability to kill a lot of the party NPC's. How can they have main plot points with characters that could have been killed? The only way this could be possible is if you had only Canderous and the droids with you in the sequel. Since most of the original cast is out of the picture, it makes perfect sense to develop a new set of characters. One more thing, you can only save the galaxy so many times with one character.
  13. Adam Brennecke suggested that the advancement of technology might level off which seems more likely than it improving all the time.
  14. And he wasted about 9-10 hours of my life with the Jedi Academy Trilogy!
  15. Bokishi, I know you can do better than that. Lets see number 6.
  16. Dark Horse is right. I don't think the technologies are equal at all. If you read some of the EU books that take place just after the Original Trilogy, you will see some comments about the older ships. In the Thrawn Trilogy, Leia talks about ships during the Clone Wars used different fuels or some kind of chemicals that are extremely toxic to plants, but "modern" ships no longer use it. Also in Shatterpoint, Mace Windu talks about old ships that used Super-Conductors as hulls before the technology for deflector sheilds was perfected.
  17. I remember the commercials on TV. I didn't follow the development process much. I looked at the In Development site on LA a few times and that is it.
  18. I hate to dig this up, but saying you made a trip in a small amount parsecs can be something to brag about. The planet Kessel is near the Maw cluster of black holes, and by travelling close to the black holes, you can make the Kessel run in a shorter distance than if you took the safe route. I agree with you that GL must have done poorly in Astronomy class and that he was just trying to make Han sound "spacey", but you can brag about travelling XXX amount of parsecs.

    FLU

I don't really understand. By the end of the game if you built a semi-decent character, you were either killing each enemy in a single round or spamming force powers until the whole group was down. You don't need cheats for that. The game was too easy for cheats to make it more enjoyable.
  20. Other. What about the scene before the Star Forge when you and Bastila are talking with Admiral Dodonna and Master Vandar?
  21. I think it was in the first weekend programmer thread. I am not 100% sure, but I remember seeing it somewhere.
  22. I really love playing blackjack, but for me Pazaak just didn't do it. I guess it was because I lost all the time.
