  1. I had my doubts about this guy, but from the samples on his site, he seems pretty solid. He's got varying styles that can suit the game if he adapts them well enough. He seems to use a lot of hymns/choir.
  2. Well then hurry up so you can start answering our questions! Just kidding. Would any other designers care to volunteer as a "substitute?" Perhaps temporarily passing the torch?
  3. This screenshot is ancient. It was also in the trailer as well, which is beyond ancient.
  4. I think I've heard something about pain tolerance for melee prestiege classes as well. Whatever that means. I envision a Guardian/Weapon Master. Melee freak I know, there are few things as satisfying as cutting enemies up the old fashioned way. Another build I wanna try is a Guardian/Jedi Master.
  5. The very existence of a poll like this goes to show you how terrible of a sin Lucasarts is. They are the very manifested form of the word "blight." Alright, with the dramatics over I think it's about time they released more info. And according to the poll so far, the people are demanding more info on a "particular white haired character."
  6. I think their race is naturally high in midichlorines or whatever. Lucas is rather silent about the name of his race or anything else regarding it.
  7. Indeed, I doubt it as well since there are so many combinations you can mix up it would be too difficult for the sake of gameplay reasons. I think a dev mentioned that prestiege class info is press release stuf so don't expect them to reveal anything until after the info splash.
  8. You ask me the longer the better. However it should not drag when its long.
  9. Didn't the original KotOR try to give day transitions but were cut due to lack of time or something? I hope this is back in, but if not, that's no biggy so long as the story and characters are engrossing.
  10. Great idea. In fact, this may already be implemented. The devs said one of the biggest innovations in TSL over KotOR was the fact that planets were less linear due to the fact that there are much more sub locations. Perhaps these cities serve as sub locations. I remember them mentioning something about "planets" as being an inaccurate name, although the term is still used as we associate it with the KotOR formula.
  11. If the mechanics and ratio worked in the same manner as KotOR then no. I don't like games that have overly massive areas in which there is more to see than do. Anything that usually gives vehicles to you and tricks you as "epic" is one of these types of games.
  12. It would be great if each Prestiege class choice you made worked in a unique way to boost your character beyond simple numbers. For example, we know that Consulars and Guardians have different attack philosophies. Perhaps a Consular going the Jedi Weapon Master route can have force powers that specifically enhance his melee abilities. Or maybe his wisdom modifer can affect his "to hit" factor. Perhaps a "Force Sense" combat dueling power. Whereas a Guardian going Weapon Master would get more passive melee feats that are always on, such as Great Cleave or Armor Skin.
  13. It wasn't in an online source and was only in the first couple magazines during the games announcement. I don't have that with me right now. Perhaps someone else can post an image of the scan?
  14. It is already confirmed that Revan is in KotOR2 since day one. To what extent and as to what happens to him is up to us to play and find out. Likely our choices will directly affect his role in KotOR2.
  15. The idea about the droid items being infinite is great. I rarely used them since I figured that after pressing the button several times it's gonna be gone anyway, why bother? The mechanics for fighting multiple enemies are great as well. Though the core rules need not be changed, you can easily place animations that "simulate" multiple attackers. I would like romance to affect battles slightly. Perhaps NPCs whom you have started romancing with can play more dramatic animations when you are around, and vice versa. Or they can act more aggressively if you start to take heavy damage? The force trade is a good idea. If you were trying to roleplay a Revan that was coming back to the light only to be hindered by the discovery of his heritage and to fall again, you would essentially cripple yourself since your light side alignment would drop AND you got stuck with lightside powers. This would open a world of options for roleplay far more than a rigid set would.
  16. Honestly this poll is slightly usesless. Who here wouldn't want updates? And the more the better. They've recently had a drought on info and it's starting to show. Heck, I'm dying for some.
  17. It's a very good reflectionary interview. Speaks much of the companies philosophies. Does this mean more KotOR2 info coming soon? I hope so.
  18. The fact that a post as useless as this exists is telling us somethign about our anticipations, our desire for information, and the lack of info recently. *This is not the droid you are looking for. It doesn't have KotOR2 data.*
  19. I think that the Force Jump feat should stay with the Guardian. TSL is a new game based off an already established engine and rules. The change you request will not happen. Nor in my opinion should it happen. The Guardian is the lightsaber expert, I do not see Consulars or Sentinels doing such a move. As for the associated prestiege classes, I they follow this route: Guardian--Jedi Weapon Master, Sith Maruader Sentinel--Jedi Watchman, Sith Assassin Consular--Jedi Master, Sith Lord
  20. I doubt that any Sith Lords will be offered as a party member. Kinda reduces their power stature by placing them in your own level. Besides, I doubt any Sith Lord would willingly join some newbie dark side Jedi. They are the title characters and probably the primary villains. It would be interesting, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  21. Indeed, I would like to join the conversation but it seems rather long to read THIRTEEN pages about hoods. Well, the devs have already confirms that there will be no actual OPTION to have hoods up or down, but there will be hoods that are either up or down by default. Therefore, you get both options, just in a different implementation. Honestly I don't really care about the hoods, I just want better looking robes than the ugly ones offered in KotOR. And have all the robes look great on the characters, I thought that the light side Star Forge robes were pathetically ugly.
  22. I don't exactly care about the locations of the game's ending, so long as the story development is excellent and the actual ending itself is long and satisfying. KotOR had an extremely weak ending compared to the rest of the game's depth. I hope TSL does not make the same mistake. However, multiple story branches, especially for each side, would have a great effect on replayability.
  23. Well, I have heard that a dev actually spilled the beans on the name of the concept art/wallpaper girl being "Atris." Several people saw the name and by the time the dev realized a mistake was made. It was soon quickly removed from the forums so that no further people would read the post. So it's almost 100% sure that the white-haired girl IS Atris. However, the hooded Jedi is another person. Those are the facts.
  24. I doubt there will be Sith lightsabers. Kinda pointless if the "special" lightsaber is weaker than the actual standard lightsabers. They mentioned something about additional unique crystals, but whether or not there are additional unique lightsabers are another matter.
