So only Jedi Wookie can use the white saber?
-
Not to mention using a completely different video architecture custom designed from ATI's R500 series. That alone would pose immense problems. Rumors are they are trying to make use of the additional horsepower to emulate the old games. ATI trying to emulate Nvidia? Wow I thought that day would never come.
-
I wasn't complaining there white and silver made it into the game. The more customization is in the better. However I do find the screenshot somewhat amusing. And I may need to rewatch that trailer again just to double check.
-
True, but that doesn't mean that screenshot is real.
-
Yes, and Vader wore white armor.

Oh. Well since hes asking about an LCD supporting resolutions used in gaming I thought I might list down the generic stuff that I know.
-
Are you asking for specifics? I don't have a widescreen LCD so I wouldn't really know. I do know however that some games require some sort of "custom resolution" command line upon startup or some other custom user defined setting. Others that natively support them I would assume would naturally allow you to select the widescreen resolution.

As far as I know, only specific games support widescreen. For those that don't, I believe they are stretched.

Lame Prestige Classes...

The ultimate Watchman force power-- *Obsidian, you will release additional information for the game* -
Half the reason I come is to converse with others obsessed such as myself, and the other half is to see if new information is released (or in some cases acidentally leaked).
-
My only concern is that whatever the Xbox gets, the PC should get as well. Or if there are unique properties for each system, which I have heard the devs allude to.
-
Supposedly KotOR2 will have a far better scaling system in mind. If they pull it off, fights would remain challenging and unpredictable, yet you will still believe you are better stronger.
-
I think they should both receive an equal number of items, but both sides need to be balanced. It would sway specific players to tilt toward one side otherwise. Both sides should be viable and one side should be not "nerfed" just because they are good or evil.

T3 is nothing compared to the smooth, slick steel on HK-47...

It doesn't make sense that something can consume the force. But mutating it or radiating it is logically if the right process is taken. The Star Maps and the Star Forge will good examples. I agree with that one.

What of the Ancient Sith lords
TSAdmiral replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
My take is that Taris and other locations need not have their history or character or whatever told to you. That truly is pointless, as it wouldn't affect the storyline one bit. I agree with you on that. However, Korriban was a location focused mainly on learning more about the Sith and their history/ways. Ajunta was a spirit that could talk to you. Evidently what he told you did make an impact on how you perceived the story. These are two major Sith lords that we know little about. I'm not asking for a life story, but simply whatever warranted them to gain the status to have tombs planted next to Naga Sadow and Marka Ragnos. Have some Sith historian tell us the news or have us dig up some artifact about that that shows us more about them. Perhaps more could have been indirectly revealed through side-quests. True, they were a minor part of the storyline, but a small amount of additional detail could easily flesh them out a bit more. The comparison with the doctor and such is slightly weak, as the doctor has nothing to do with the main quest or Star Wars history. Ajunta and Tulak were minor, but they actually fit the storyline and history. Ajunta had what the Sith considered one of the most powerful dark side weapons in all of history! Two Sith lords sitting next to Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow should have slightly better treatment than was shown. Again, we don't need a cinematic or novel written for both, but they were definitely intriguing. The fact that we have discussions on them shows that they could have been fleshed out a little more consistently. Last I checked, no one debated much on the doctor -
Taking an example from what I deem as a much more "simple" game of pure damage values, I think Diablo 2 is an excellent source of reference in terms of immunities vs resistance. I think actual immunities should only be found on designated "tough" targets such as Sith Lords or apprentices. The average grunt could make use of resistences, but not a wide range of them and definitely none that are too strong.

Storyline Theory Extravaganza
TSAdmiral replied to Sabahattin Dere's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Beautiful storylines! I would die laughing playing #5! -
Many believe that KotOR3 will be using a next-generation engine on Microsoft's next console. And for PC I hope and not a castrated version like we got for Halo.

KotOR2... The Sith Lords...

Hey it's only gonna get better Sun Tzu! If magazines dont have info, that means the online sources dont have info. If they dont have info, that means WE dont have info. And if we dont have info, that means we get desperate. Looks like next month is gonna be the same thing all over again. Worse and more desperate of course.
-
Now that I think about it, the mines were really nothing more than an obstruction in gameplay. They tended to slow down the game for me as I waited for Mission to disable it. Why not just remove it altogether?
-
I meant Sion. And from the looks of it, discussing what we meant is gonna be a popular topic for a long time.
-
It looks like we're going without info next month as well. Almost everything we know has already been known since the game's announcement. Since then, we have learned the name of an additional Sith Lord. That's it. Either we will get a splash of info right before release or that's pretty much it. When they say it's a new game, they mean it.
-
They are doing a game on Sith Lords because the sequel concerns Sith Lords in the story. I doubt we'll ever get a game focusing on the daily lives of Jedi Masters. Would be quite boring in actuality too, what with training Padawans and little kids.
