  1. Bastila's theme is a pretty good piece, it appropriately captures the Star Wars feeling and hands a softer touch to it. It seems to suit a large variety of situations, and that is why it is used for the flyby.
  2. Definitely, I mean look at that guy, he looks like hes born to slash your arm off. I can see him being an assassin, but it doesn't seem to fit his persona much. Sith Lord is the last prestiege class I expect him to be.
  3. Brilliant! That was great!
  4. For such strict standards of entering a dari side cult (death), they sure dressed rather cheesy in the process of graduating.
  5. Since you already replied Akari, can you tell us if the KotOR1 issues are ATI's fault or Bioware's? Or is it a little of both?
  6. I am immensely interested in stances, if only due to the simple fact that there are different animations! Thank God, more varied animations. I was getting tired of the ones from KotOR. It is also known that they will "affect defensive and offensive properties." Whatever the heck that means. I think Akari said they also modified your default standing stance as well. That too is a godsend, as I can't express how stupid the double-bladed "pole" position was.
  7. I think he's gonna change more than that. From what I've seen, Lucas may make Obi Wan Luke's father.
  8. Oh heck yeah, the first time I saw him force choke the sucker and then grab his lightsaber in that flashy scorpion stance, I knew he was gonna kick some ass. If looks could kill, the Jedi boarding party would be dead. That mask and robe was one step short of a "Sith T-101 Terminator". Then Malak crashed the party. I wanted to see him take Bastila.
  9. Saul Karrath is probably the worse dresser as well. Not that Malak was much better. Bandon however, had the style. If you ask me, Malak would have been dang intimidating and much more interesting had he worn Bandon's armor. The two outfits should have been switched. Now that I think about it, although KotOR manages to successfully capture the Star Wars feeling, another trademark of the series seems to be bad fashion sense.
  10. The story was extremely cliched and flawed... it felt like it had the word "fan boy" stamped on it.
  11. I didn't notice that they tried to be Empire-wannabes until you brought it up. Now that you did, I look at the cadets slightly differently. They sure as hell didn't seem much like dark side usres, more like naval grunts with red lightsabers. In the end, it didn't affect gameplay very much... but to imagine that all those Sith I killed started out wearing THAT in their days on the Academy... oh boy...
  12. Am I supposed to laugh? If the release date REALLY was divulged by you, which it didn't, then this topic would not exist.
  13. I know Telos was recently given to the press, but when is more gameplay information / character introductions going to be revealed?
  14. I've always hate respawning enemies if the only point to them is to add more and more streams of enemies. Indeed it has already been stated it is more of a hassle than anything else. Unless the situation deems respawning, but only if it fits the context of the story in that particular scene and if it is used appropriately and sparingly.
  15. I would imagine that you have virtually unlimited FP. That is, your FP is so high you would regenerate faster than you can possibly use it all.
  16. I seem to also notice that his style is consistent. I mean that he seems to sound somewhat similar in most of his clips, at least to my ears. The good--He can perform one type of music generally okay. The bad--He may not adapt very skillfully when the situation calls for it.
  17. I heard the samples from there and from what I can tell those are decent clips. However, he's not yet a big name composer. It also seems he likes a lot of hymns/choir, and TSL may not fit well into that. Then again, we never heard an extensive amount of his real work to tell. I say hes solid but I wouldn't be my money on it yet.
  18. I wouldn't worry about it being TOO dark. That's a relatively low quality video and I doubt the in-game graphics would have gamma/contrast issues like that.
  19. The composer for the first did a overall decent job. I haven't heard enough of the KotOR2 composer to see how good he truly is, but it would be great if they melded some of the themes that run coherent to the series.
  20. Interesting, so THAT is the Telos that Carth was from. Indeed, I agree--Bioware has been beaten badly at their own game. And the preview mentioned DECEMBER. It strongly implied a December release date.
  21. That upper left chunk of Taris must be what Malak blew away. And that concept art of that floating space station is the same as that chunk righ there. I wonder what sights there are to see there... I wouldn't mind throwing Carth out the nearest airlock!
  22. Got it: http://media.pc.ign.com/media/608/608569/imgs_1.html Turns out the concept art depicting that silver "space station/field" is actually a part of Telos. We also get another glimpse of a female PC using the head similar to Atris, although it's been confirmed its merely a PC head.
  23. Indeed. Anything exciting?
  24. I would anticipate so as well. Assuming of course, he shows up directly enough for us to actually see him.
  25. Well, what you just said is exactly the situation in KotOR2--namely, the Sith Lords have basically slaughtered the Jedi Knights and severely weakened the republic.
