  1. ZOMG - impeach him!1 -- Vesna actually had the biggest pair of uh, bar-maid aprons in the game. Of course to fully appreciate the uh, texture of the materials, you would need the European version or requisite substitute thereof.
  2. ^Also, kids: Remember to play with the hot coffee mod for TEH REAL witcher experience!1 Yay for b00bies!1 ...and then some.
  3. Christmas? Many Christmases ago I went to buy a game for the PC. I reached for the last one they had but so did another man. As I reigned blows upon him I realized there had to be a another way!
  4. Which the same can't be said about the dream pop track in the end credits. That was ****in' awesome!
  5. Proof that Mac-users are stupid jerks with crappy machines:
  6. There wasn't anything objectionable per se, just a complete and utter lack of motivation to continue sighting-seeing vast areas of land with no meaningful characters and dialogs. Now I'm all for sandbox gaming (Independence War 2, Freelancer, etc), but it has to have a non-generic feel to it. In many ways Morrowind's herb picking is a similar exercise in tedium to EVE's asteroid mining.
  7. What's sad is that I got even less further into Oblivion than I did with Morrowind.
  8. Let us commence with the airing of grievances!
  9. Just to be on the safe side, you better spoiler tag Gorth's JA2 message as well. He mentioned something about guns FFS!
  10. See above.
  11. You might want to consider getting in on Dwarven beard premium mod making business Brother K. There's a substantial market out there just waiting to be tapped. They're simply watering at the mouth at the prospect of custom mutton-chops, braided handles, and for the more adventurous ones out there, Clangeddin's Bushranger style. Theres also a market for, uhh, "female beards" if you catch my drift. This is all pure speculation based merely upon what I've been told.
  12. Tell it how it is, Brother K! What does a guy have to do around here to get some decent dwarven beards styles? Edit: Also, has anyone noticed that like have the deities from the OC have been changed. So no Eilistraee, Aerdrie Faenya, etc, etc. Just compare the current MotB deities with teh original list and see for your self: http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwinternights2/deities.php I'm not happy about this (nor my lack of Dwarven bearding for that matter). And don't get me started on "so where did the cool Ammon Jerro FMV intro go?"
  13. I sense your powers are weak, old friend. It appears the years of playing RPGs have finally dulled your reaction time and alacrity.
  14. Sounds like it's time for Krooks to get a paper-route.
  15. Hey Gorth buddy, two JA2 questions: (1) Is there any way to slow the mouse cursor speed down? The cursor seems to fly across the edge of teh map now. (2) Is there any way to disable the "command acknowledgment" when moving your whole squad at the same time. Hearing each of my merc's bark is pretty cool individually, but having them all at the same time is insane.
  16. How could I have forgotten those two. Come to think of it, I better add Ren & Stimpy, and Doug (the original Nick one). Captain Planet, he's our hero, gonna bring pollution down to zero!
  17. You guys have it all wrong - it's the GNOMES whose presence we must erradicate! Gnomes are evil, annoying, and arrogant (with the exception of Grobnar whose just annoying, and Jan Jansen whose genuinely a stand-up guy), and must be ethnically cleansed for the good of all races. Anyone's who's played KNOWS the TRUTH about gnomes! Ever wonder how they always maintain a contingent of half-ogre "servants"? They kidnap human chickz0rz are force them to do the dirty with ogres in breeding pits. It's teh conspiracz0rs!1 I've taken great risk to bring you people the ugly TRUTH about gnomes and now must flee for my life before it's too late!
  18. What game is that, night?
  19. Does it feature the mass slaughter of many Hobbits? Oh, how I loved Overlord for it giving me that. That would be awesome. Nooo! They're helpless and can't fight back!
  20. Now that I think of it, I'd also like a sequel to Gladius. ^A seriously underrated TRPG btw.
  21. I let Kaiden stay with the nuke for the simple reason he was VO'd by Carth. But in all seriousness, he was an interesting character who I liked. I suppose I could have let Ashley take the long radioactive nap, but I was romancing her instead of Liara (how disappointing that she didn't inherit her mother's most obvious trait). Tali is my favorite character by far though. She was one of the few who was genuinely pleasant and helpful to the PC.
  22. It's good to hear that Atari are spreading their usual customer service bliss for the benefit of gamers world-wide.
  23. The spelling seems to be near perfect thus far (keeping in mind that I'm only in Kuto's Well). The only spelling error I've noticed is a journal entry of "involve" when it should be "involves" (plural). But, the journal voice takes on somewhat of a c0ckney style at times, so maybe it was intentional? (probably not though). I have noticed a punctuation issue: Where it's apparent that the writer intends to encapsulate a sentence clause in dashes (e.g. Nwn2 has several upcoming mods - of which Jags and Starwars are awaiting Purgatorio in keen anticipation - the latest of which includes PoR), all I'm seeing are double blank spaces. Perhaps there's some sort of ASCII issue going on? I'm not entirely sure. The demarcation of inter-sentence clauses via commas seems to be fine ironically enough.
  24. The last chapter of the PoR total conversion for nwn2 has been released over at teh vault: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Nwn2m...etail&id=63 For the uninitiated who haven't played the original PoR hang your heads in shame, but know that it was an excellent game back in the day (and probably still is via DosBox). NOTE: Not to be confused with that god-awful sequel Ruins of Whatever. If you don't remember that one because it's not installed on your hard-drive, then it's probably because it uninstalled your hard-drive! Anyway, the latest version has all the previous chapters and FMVs interlinked together, and is accessible via nwn2's "new campaign". I'm in the slums of New Phlan atm, and so far, so good (it even runs above 30fps on my archaic rig)! http://nwvault.ign.com/fms/Download.php?id=93859 http://nwvault.ign.com/fms/Download.php?id=87092
  25. Not in the grand scheme of things as I see you've opted to slaughter and entire town Mr. Nice-place-to-visit-but-I-wouldn't-want-to-live-here.
