I think it's just old concept art before they gave lightsaber colors to the different classes. Bastila had a yellow saber because she was a Jedi Sentinel and Jolee had a green saber because he was a Jedi Consular.

I'm glad that Lucasarts is looking to outsource even more. Games made internally at Lucasarts are crap. Who knows what they were doing with KotOR 3, hopefully they weren't making a new engine or designing it.

I don't think there is "too many" as long as they keep the games new and fresh. There are some franchises that are rehashed like crazy*cou*Street Fighter 2*gh* *couh*Madden*gh* but I don't want KotOR to be one of those.

I'm hoping that all this silence means that they're preparing for a big update, like say, the launch of the official website with loads of new info. This is overly optomistic of me and this period of silence is probably nothing more Lucasarts PR reps being lazy.

NO!!!!!!!! That's all I do in the game when I'm moving around the game areas. What about when you press in the analog sticks? Is that an option or is it set for something else?

I think KotOR 2 will be a better game than most, if not all, of the big games of 2004 but it can't compete in sales. Really high-profile games coming out towards the end of the year. Halo 2 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Gran Turismo 4 Metal Gear Solid 3 Resident Evil 4 Metroid Prime 2 All of these games are pretty much going to sell over a million copies based off of name recognition alone. Then there is Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 which are both coming out soon and those are going to sell a lot of copies during the holiday season as well. Analysts call these games "murderer's row" because other games are going to get crushed by them. If KotOR 2 comes out in 1st quarter 2005 it will be competing against a much weaker lineup.

KotOR 2 shouldn't come out this year because it would get killed in sales. Do you guys have any idea how many ridiculously high profile releases there are for the rest of 04'?

The new robes look fine, in fact they look great. The running animation associated with the new robes though needs a little work. Maybe Obsidian has fixed that already.

Spiderman 2 has 100% less Macy Gray in it so it pretty much wins by default. B) Oddly enough, the CG in Spiderman 1 was better than the CG in Spiderman 2.
