Doubt there will be a collectors edition. You'll probably just get another lightsaber keychain with a pre-order.
If there was a collector's edition, I'd like to see a book of the game's art (mostly concept stuff) as well as the game's soundtrack on cd and maybe a 4x6 autographed picture of Atton Rand. Well, maybe not the last one.
Get the PC version. It destroys the Xbox version in everyway. And even if you can't stand the WASD control on the keyboard, go out and buy an Xbox controller to USB adapter for your PC so you can play the PC version with an Xbox controller. Then again, I don't know why you would want to play the PC version with a controller.
I was thinking the same thing. He doesn't look.....Star Warish if you know what I mean.
He kinda reminds me of the Nameless One. Not the facial features so much, but that he looks like he's gotten into too many knife fights.
ATI destroys nVidia and has since the 9700 came out. Ever since ATI unified their drivers into the Catalyst series they have been fine. NVidia's cards are overpriced and they under-perform. NVidia's drivers are good but they're used mostly to fluff up benchmark scores for nVidia's cards.
Anyways back on topic. I ran KotOR just fine on an ATI card and I have a friend who ran it just fine on an ATI card. It never crashed on me.
I remember Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy had great lightsaber effects but that's a completely different game using a completely different engine. Not to mention that Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy were made for the PC and then ported to the Xbox where as KotOR II is being made for both simultaneously.
I don't know if anyone has said this because this thread a several months old now, but I think Lucasarts is handling the QA for KotOR 2. I don't think Obsidian is big enough to have it's own QA department yet.
More like the other way around. Video card makers love to bundle games with their cards but I don't think KotOR 2 is one of those games. It just isn't that good looking compared to other PC games out there.
Could be Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa, Corellia, or any number of different Star Wars planets. Or, it could be a completely new planet. I hope it's Coruscant but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Yeah, I prefer playing most games on the PC too. It really depends on what genre it is. Like FPS'ers I'll play on the PC anyday, where as a game like Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, I'll get it on Xbox because it's just a console game at heart.
I'd like all of them to return but I skeptical that they will. It's already been confirmed that Revan and T3-M4 will be in the game (although I couldn't care less about that droid) and quasi-confirmed that HK-47 will return in one form or another. I'd like to see what happens to everyone from the game but I don't know if we'll get the chance.
