  1. " had two trolls at only level 2 Karzak (who is now MIA) and Volourn " I'd be offended (if I actually could get offended " ); but I know you only say such things out of love. Donb't worry, the feeling is mutual. :">
  2. "Morrowind would be a better choice if you like non-linear stories." MW may be non linear; but in order for a game to have a non linear story; it needs to a have a story. FO is a real example of "non linear story". R00fles!
  3. "as Bio seems to follow the same style for all Bio games." As did BIS/Obsidian, Troika, Sqauresoft, and others, and 99% of writers. It makes sense that the same style would be used by the same person. That's either a negative or a positive depending if you like that particular style.
  4. "A trillian times better than Forgotten Realms games magic systems. You can be far more creative with it." Hilarious. Funny. But, not true. Outisde of POR2, the mdoern D&D games have have had 200+ spells and you can do a lot with it. The D&D magic system itself is even furtehr than that since you have basically unlimited spells inclduing your peasly flying.
  5. "It has become an after thought this year." 'Afterthoughts' don't win RPG of the Year awards, don't get high scores, and aren't usually well liked by those who play it. R00fles!
  6. "It's a world most people aren't inherently familiar with. " This doesn't really make sense. This was also true with the Ultimaes, FOS, and hosts of other games; but I had no problem "immersing" nyself into their worlds. MW's problem is that it's flat. The npcs just come off as fake. The quests aren't that special. TOEE's quests had more depth to them. MW's quests just seemed to eb there to give the player an exuse to explore 80 mapes that look the same. Meh. Glad you enjoyed. I'll say this though - MW is the best ES game. <_<
  7. "Don't you feel dirty saying that?" Why would I? We seem to be in agreement. " P.S. I know you were referring to the other fellow.
  8. "I dont know if im correct, but I do believe that bioware only wrote the engine for that and another company did the stories. Maybe im thinking of another game, but didnt black isle actually make those games?" Ahh.. Another one whose listened to too many fanboys. No offense this time meant. BIO did the engine, story, characters, rules systems, graphics, items, areas, and almost anything else you can name. BIS did the publishing which included (lots of bug fixing and QA), music and voice overs, and overall support for the product. The games that BIO did just the engine for BIS are the IWD series, and PST. Those are BIS games.
  9. GTA from what i've seen of it. Diablo's plot is as simple as it gets - go kill BBG. Many RPGs have that plot; but they seem to add more than it just being BBG (see BG series) or in PST's; there is no "real" BBG though in some ways it actually has one to. Still, Diablo's plot doens't really exist. And, Diablo has no real character. Unless you just mean stat progression.
  10. "Those that don't like Morrowind seem to be those who don't have the patience to deal with the skill progression system." Please. You obviously missed the mass of other reasons why people dislike MW. Skill progression is the least of my worries about MW. And, I have more than enough patience to deal with fellow Net Dinks; I easily have enough patience for a silly game.... if it's good.
  11. "but the Ultima series and the Fallout series aren't?" Not to everyone. I disagree with them; but still; does everyone have like the same things? Hmm.. Some people, including you, dislike the BGs, and KOTOR while most consider them "masterpieces). Some think the FOs suck; I think they're drunk. The cycle continues.
  12. Pepsi.
  13. Meh. All this talk of gods. I sure havn't seen any players become gods in all my biullions of years. Certainbly not in any campaign I played. i do know of one other campaign that allowed the players to become god; but that was a Munchkin DM. Only fools allow players to become gods so often if at all.
  14. "20' pizza" Now, THAT'S a pizza!
  15. Quite frnakly, people should stop worrying about violence in entertainment and worry more about violenc ein RL. Violence in entertainment is not real. Period. It cannot hurt you at all. It is harmless. Violence also doesn't causes people to committ RL violence either. If someone used half a brain they would realize even some had committed violence after playing games; they probably had a lot of other major problems that led them to violence than just playinga silly video games. Completely reminds me of the D&D paranoia where the one mother whined that D&D mad eher sona killer - than it came out that her son was doing drugs, and doing all sorts of other ****. Dumb. That is all.
  16. "Rereading this thread, I noticed that Volourn mentioned Jersey Girl. This movie got passed over by most people because it had J-Lo and Ben Affeck. But what people don't know is that this is a REALLY GOOD movie. I think there are only two movies I've ever seen that have both made my laugh and cry in one sitting. The first is Life is Beautiful. The second is Jersey Girl. I assure you that J-Lo dies early on, and Ben Affleck is actually quite enjoyable when given a good script. Too bad he picks up a lot of bad scripts. " A little late her;e but oh well. I hate that people feel that it's cool to bash Ben Affleck. I seriosuly think he's a terriffic actor. I have yet to watch a movie of his I hate. Even Gigli with it's retarded name was a pretty good movie. Daredevil is also one of the best superhero movies of all time, imo. He's awesome and people just deal with that fact.
  17. "Your opinion has been nullified by the fact you don't read Skimreading doesn't count" I do read. I only skimread nasuas overly long pathetic descriptions as I exampled above. Otherwise, I read. Period.
  18. Darque WINS! (w00t) ........ my !
  19. Meh. I'm sure you can do it if you really wanted to.
  20. "When I review games I review the game as a member of its target audience, but I told you this several times. " I'm not smart enough to udnerstand that when someone gives a game almost 90% that they actually think the game is just ok. It must be 89% out of 150%. R00fles! P.S. It's a sign of a poor reviewer when they try to write a review through the eyes of others. There is no way you cna know how they think. period. Bototm line, you rated KOTOR almost 90%. Either your scoring system is skewered or you think KOTOR is a great game. Your choice.
  21. "I mean honestly, how many people make 1000 page books that you can read the first 100 and last 100 pages of said book, and then know "exactly" what's going on." This is simply not true. At all. I do agree that he does use more than his share of filler; but then again most writers tend to favor that way. Very annoying of all them to do so hence why I skimread many books - even my all time faves. NOTE TO INSPRIING AUTHORS (including myself): You do NOT need 5 pages to describe the hair of your heroine or the eyes of the villain. Period.
  22. "I'm not that familiar with Dragon Age. " :D Nobody is... :D "Of average Bioware games that I have played there are KotOR, due to its easiness and lack of community support (in comparison to BG and NWN)," Do you make a habit of rating 'average' games nearly 90%? "MDK 2." This, and their other useless game SS pretty much don't exist as far as I'm concern.
  23. 4 great BIS games? I count FO1, and FO2. And, PST and IWD1 are good though I can see someone thinking that PST. Unless youa re disucssing ANCIENT BIS games prior to BIS actually forming and before FO1 even...
  24. You can't. Hence, why i didn't really choose. 'Both' is more of a misnomer on my part in this case. That is all.
  25. "Isn't this released?" Not released on a platform I can play on so I'm still 'seriously' looking forward to it. :D
