Isn't that the same thing? :D

75% is a B. More seriously, I try to as well; but the review sites don't. So, when we see a game get a 60% that's a low end for them so we have to keep that in mind. 70% = ok or average, 80% is good, and 90% (as per usual) equals amongst the best. I'm not saying I agree with the thought process; but it's soemthing to keep in mind. Nothing to worry about, however.

The thing to remember is that video games aren't rated on a 1-10 or 1-100 scale for the most part. They're rated basically on a 6-10 or 60-100 scale. Remember that, and for the most part they make sense. Besdies, as for reviews, it's best to pay attention to what the actual review states about the game; not the number. Afterall, GS gave JE 84% but it's apparant to everyone that the reviewer didn't really like the game just by what and how he wrote it.

You thought A Halfdragon mindflayer was bad?
Volourn replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Pen-and-Paper Gaming
PC vs. PC battles, and storylines are awesome. I have a host of stories including a battle that nearly tore down a mountain (figuratively speaking)and wiped out a town (not so figuratively hehe )because us PCs went at it. All in good fun! -
"2000+ Us soliders dead." Impressive... until you count how many bodies the 'oppostion' has had to bury. Even in the Vietnam War where the US 'lost' they pretty much kicked the opposition's behind when it came to actual warfare. It was Amerikans who beat Amerikans.

Pirates was a great movie. Even greater as I went in not expecting much. Johhny Depp is a terrific actor as well. Good stuff for the sequels!

There are supposedly 100s of little ones. Most of them get no press (lol) because like many 'western' papaers they are too small to be noticed indiviually. There was some article awhile back that disucssed how a portion of Iraqis were taking their new found freedom 'too far'. In it detail some of the stuff (on all sides of the issue) were printing that would be completely viewed with disgust in places where newspapers have been around much longer. One specific example that was used was a communist based newspaper that heralded that point of view. As for the actual topic, as Yrkoon mentioned, I wouldn't be surprised that Bush did say that. Whetehr he was joking or seriously contemptling it is an issue. Afterall, how many times when one gets angered they contemplate soemthing they shouldn't do. Afterall, I could see the following scenario taking palce: Bush reads an AJ blasting him for whaetver reason. He gets mad, and goes," Damn it! I hate them *" He turns to his friend, and confidante Blair, and in passing suggests they are udnemrining the war effort and makes a comment about bombing them or doing *soemthing*. Blair says no, no, no. They move on. Game over. Definitely not out of the realm of possibility. On top of that, is it 'common knowledge' that the US as a matter of course, tends to keep battle plans for all sorts of things even things that will liekly never happen like war plans vs. Kanada or Britain. As long as Bush doens't follow through.

Cool Hades. And, oh, since I was reminded, Dino Crisis was awesome. The best 'horror survivor' game I've ever played...

FF7, FF8 (my favorite FF ever), FF9 (actually is that PS1 or PS2, I forget lol), any of the EA sports games (espicially baseball - Triple Play rocks!, Madden, and NHL), wrestling, and that's a bout it off the top of my head.

Bloodlines is cool. The dialogue is (mostly) very, very good.

I don't buy anything on line. That might change in the future; but for now that's the way it is.

Yes, the Rangers' One Man Luck Sow continues. There is no doubt that JJ deserves MVP honours. He is easily the main reason why the Rangers are doing so well.. Sadly, it won't last as it's too much to expect someone who had aportion of his salary stolen to continue carrying an entire team on his shoulders.

Eh. It's still less buggy or breakable than the PC, or its games. Everything has problems espicially when it first comes out. Technology is still very untrustworthy.

"PC RPG fans, aka Fallout or PS:T" For every FO or PST there are tens of POR2s, and DDs. The good PC games is much less the percentage of PC games than quality console games. In essence, I am more likely to find a good quality, and fun game on a console than to find one on PC. And, PC games on the whole are not deep. Leisuresuit Larry everyone? Dungeon Seige anyone?

Pirates should be find, and eventually jailed like any thief if caught.

Whats up with all the short games ?
Volourn replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
JE is one of those games where everyone seems to exaggerate their play time. I honestly don't think people truly pay attention to how much time they spent on it, and just randomly pick a number. Heh. Either that, or those less than 20 hours people skip a lot of things, and those 40+ hpiurs people go over every inch of ground twice just in case they missed something. Myself, it took me about 28 hours not counting deaths which likely added a couple more hours. Long or short, JE is awesome. LONG LIVE JE2! Hades, you have a weird time neccesaryily. Only a handful of games - maybe 6 of them - actually reach 100 hours. You expect way too much as far as duration is concerned when it comes to games. WOWSERS! -
If Obsidian will make KotOR3, you will purchase it
Volourn replied to Luke77's topic in Computer and Console
I have my complaints about KOTOR2; but it was a good game so I wouldn't hesitate to buy KOTOR3 no matter who made it as long as it wasn't turned into a racing game. Hehe. -
Haha. Funny stuff. (w00t)

Rangers will likely finish second last in their division, and miss the play-offs.
-
And, the Rangers' fall continues!

I could live with more SW movies. They have all been entertaining in their own way.

That's why I was asking the question. I apologize for any misunderstanding my post may have caused.

"I seen 2 years old games being sold at their release date price, some shops simply do not lower their prices." Game over.
-
"Ah, but how often are Internet prices different from store prices? Especially from large stores such as Future Shop, Best Buy, etc?" I don't shop there; but the EB prices differ for sure. Heck, if I had ordered from EB Online when JE first came out, I'd have gotten in for $30 Amerikan ($50ish Kanadian) as opposed to the $60 or so I actually did pay for it. Game over.

Well.. don' you are agree that lviing in a PA world would be more fun in RL? No need for FO then!!
