L0L I don't think there was ever a danger of that happening. He'd probably be insulted if he was, and sue the NHL for defmation of character if he did. HAHA!

Bush's Iraq-Afghan farewell tour marred by dissent

"I am still contemplating moving to Kanada, Taks, with all the crap going on here. With the bailouts bankrupting this country even more it might just be a prudent thing. The number one thing that pisses me off about the US, and this isn't just limited to federal and state government, is that the vast majority of people do not take personal responsibility and accountability for their actions. They aren't fiscally responsible whatsoever and don't live within their means, and those with money just lend it out willy-nilly to these people then scream for the government to pay it back when those who shouldn't have gotten the money aren't able to pay it back." Um. Sounds like Kanada. "Nationalism is evil." So is extremism like your quote. "The world is eventually going to merge into one global community. " L0L Maybe in 1000 years when aliens come to wipe us out. "The election of a half-white and half-black guy name Barrack Hussein Obama (whether you agree with his policies or not) might just have been the turning point in human history when nationalism and racism begin to die out." O RLY? When a a multicultural man in a multicultural country is voted in all racism will die it? Give me a break. It is NOT surprising AT ALL that a multicutural person won an election in a multicutural country. Balcks have been winning elections in the US for awhile. It was just a matter of time when one won the Big One. Come to me when someone of a minority race actually wins an election IN AN ACTUAL RACIST/BIGOTED COUNTRY. -

"I was wondering if I should tease Volourn a bit... If there hadn't been any European colonialism, there would have been no Kanada and no Bioware. Beat that!" I could live with both not exisiting. I maanged to live 20 years of my life without BIO exisiting, and biologically I'm French (*puke*) so I'd have ties to Europe either way. -

"And just so we are clear - France is a country in Europe not Europe itself" Um. Isn't that what i said. I did say specific European countries, and gave France as an example, right? France *is* an European country last I checked. I enevr calimed that ALL European coutnries (or people) were pro Hussein/anti Iraq War simply because of monetary concerns. I'm sure there are plenty who opposed it for actual moral reasons. That's cool, and I can respect that. -

"but without Europe - America would still be an English colony.. Don't forget that!" Without you there wouldn't have been world wars. There also wouldn't have been rampant slavery in the Amerikas. Or the slaughtering of indians. So, keep bragging about Europe's awesome history. Or the fact that certain European countries would prefer Saddam Hussein in power still in Iraq just so they could make a profit. *cough* France *cough* Europe has accomplished some good stuff; but let's not be ignorant - they're also repsonsible for some of the more horrific evils. In fact, one of the main reasons why the US is prone to attack those who oppose is because they had to earn their freedom through blood. That is a legacy that Europe gave to the US. -

"Bush told reporters later that he didn't think "you can take one guy throwing shoes and say this represents a broad movement in Iraq. You can try to do that if you want but I don't think that would be accurate." Reaction in Iraq was swift but mixed, with some condemning the act and others applauding it." 'Nough said. "Those damn Eurosnobs who came up with these Geneva conventions don't need to tell US what is good or bad." Are these the same 'Eurosnobs' who enslaved entire continents and love to start world wars? If so, R00fles @ them for preaching morality. LMAO -
They should actually be decent, and either trade him (if they find takers since they and the league have done everything in their power to make Avery seem like The Most Evil Human Being Ever) or release them. Dallas doesn't want him so fire him. But, probably not. Professioanl sports is one of the are idnustries where it seems to considered legit to basically hold employees 'hostage' even if you don't want them.

"Buffy had one good season, otherwise completely mediocre." This is an immoral opinion.

For some reason I forgot the following characters are worthy: Matlock, Magnum, and Captain jean-Luc Picard,

Meh. I've been watching a certain show, and watching a certain character grow, and change and got me thinking about my favorite tv character so here's a list... What's yours? 1. Wesley Wyndam Pryce, Buffy/Angel: This guys start off as a goofball Watcher on Buffy, and by the end of Angel, he was a dark, lonely character. Most interesting journey of any character ever. 2. Jack Abbot, Young & Restless: What can be said about a character that's done it all. He's suffered, he's won, he's played hero, he's committed villainous deeds. And, through it all, he's entertained me for decades. 3. Gabrielle, Xena/Hercules (rarely): Much like Mr. Pryce, she goes through a twisting journey during her show's 6 years. Some stuff she's done are kill her own daughter, betray her best friend, sacrifice her life for the 'greater good', and go from a barly sidekick to buttkicker. Plus, the actress is hot. Woo! Gabrielle would be #1; but the writers decided to through inconcistencies just to cause trouble. 4. Lucky Spencer, General Hospital: Makes it just on sheer rootability. His drug addicition and delaing with the aftermath of rape storylines are strong enough to earn a place on the list. 5. Pacey Winter, Dawson's Creek: Yeah, yeah. Teenage drama. However, this character trandscended that characterization. Seriously, Pacey defines 'Black Sheep'. This is what coolness profound. 6. Angel/Angelus, Buffy/Angel: Vampire with(out) a soul. 8 seasons watching him do his thing was NOT enough. 7. Buffy, Buffy/Angel: The heroine that started it all doesn't always get the credit she deserves; but the series is nothing without her. 8. Bobby Donnell, The Practice: A lawyer who you aren't always sure if he fits the sterotype of the udnerhanded lawyer or his own man who does what he thinks is right. Either way, expect fireworks to occur when he's around! 9. Will Smith, Fresh Prince of Bel Air: Comedy is funny! And, when the character went dramatic (like with his deadbeat father), His freshness nailed it, easily. 10. Alex P. Keaton, Family Ties: The second character from a comedy to make this list. Family Ties is perhaps the most udnrrated of the 80s sitcomes and Alex P. Keaton is the reason why. What a deep character - espicially hard to find in a sitcom.

"Back to the matter at hand.. I believe the RPG-purists needs to play SoZ and see the game for what it is before they start foaming around the mouth and screaming for my infidel head on a plate. Even though we live next door that is. SoZ is like Sim-RPG more then a story-rpg alla bioware. Like it or not. My suggestions where aimed at making the good parts of SoZ better." Trust me. I know exactly what kind of game SOZ was gonna be. I'v ebeen playing D&D for years - dungeon crawls/exploration adventures is the base of many a D&D campaign. The problem witH SOZ is it does this so poorly to make me sad. This is unlike MOTB which has its goals, and hits a homerun. This is why IWD was a good game. It had its goals, and hit the homer. Same with the Gb games which were mostly just excuses to kill monsters, collect ph@t lewt, and level your party yet they were done so well; they were very good games in their own right. Poor SOZ is *not* misunderstood. At least not by me. Just vehemently disliked.. while, MOTB is awesome.

SOZ, quite frankly, is one of the most dissapointing and worst games I have ever played. It's POR2 level bad, imo, and I say that actually liking the general gameplay of NWN2. They finally get a detah system I can love, and its ruined by some of the easiest bland combat ever. Not to mention the dungeons in a 'dungeon crawler' are no bigger than my small rl apartment and with less rooms...

"Harper is already spreading propaganda." L0L They all are. Seems silly just to accuse one of this. How cna anyone support the Coalition when they chose a pathetic leader. "if only because the combined parties have way more votes than the Conservative Parties alone." Way more? IIRC, Any talk of a Coaltion in power can be stopped simply by the Conservatives convincing 12 of the opposition to side with them. I know it's some realtively lowe number. I agree about the GG. That position should be abolished as long we any legal ties we have Britian when it comes to actually running our country. It's simple. They do a no confidence vote, there should be a new election.
-
Unless it's a HOT babe, I don't care all that much about 'eye candy'.
-
"Tell me, Volourn, is it democratic for the GG to suspend parliament for over a month because the PM asked her to?" No, it isn't. No more undemocratic than the GG giving the power to the Coalition. imo, The GG should be ABOLISHED. "The fact is, though, the Coalition can call a no confidence vote to call an election right now because they have enough seats to do so - given to them at the last election by the Canadian people." Absolutely, and they should. And, a new election should be held. But, that's not what they're trying to do. They're seeking the power that the Kanadian people voted to give to the Conservatives. If the other parties want to vote no cofidence, be my guest. We get a new election. AS IT SHOULD BE.
-
And, MOTB. Which was awesome. Or POR2.
-
There's also the fact that Dion's own party don't want him leading them so why do they all seem to think he's the right chocie to lead the country? The logic there does not compute. On top of this, ther majority of Kanadiens don't want the Coaltion to win this political battle. In fact, they'd prefer a whole new election than that kind of garbage. Yet, the Coaltion claims they're doing this for the Kanadian populace? I call BALONY. And, so do my fellow Kanadians.

Seems like Avery's time with the Stars are numbers. No loyalty shown by the team, or his teammates for that matter. Yes, what he did was definitely uncool; but talk about a severe over reaction. I'm sure Avery will find a team. LMAO @ Stars though. Avery was their big free agent signing, andthey're gonna throw all away because of a few words. LMAO
-
"Am I here the first one who admits that SoZ sucks donkey ballz?" You must have me on ignore. L0L
-
Stars should trade him. His relationshop with the whiny Dallas players is shot. Seriosuly, the NHl code isd alls crewed up. People will forgive others for digusting hits on the ice; but a rude comment is an unforgiveable sin? Give me a break. 6 games without pay + anger management classes? For a rude comment? Come on, now.

http://news.sympatico.msn.ctv.ca/abc/home/...ction_AM_081204 R00fles! "We are determined to fulfill our mandate and get rid of Stephen Harper and his government," Duceppe said." WOW! Talk about sptting in the face of Kanadians! "The coalition's prospects weren't helped by an embarrassing episode on Wednesday night, when the Liberals were late to deliver a taped address to the nation featuring Liberal Leader Stephane Dion." This is what happens when you choose a leader whose own party no longer wants him to lead them. "In fact, they chose to play politics" L0L The PM wans't the only one playing politics.

Just watched the Season 3 Final of Xena. All I got to say, is that the show was/is udnerrated. Heck, i think I underappreciated it a bit when I first watched it. Gabrielle is perhaps a top 5 tv character EVAR!
