Totally irrelevant , and basically just some lame thing to bash a dead man who can't defend himself. He's been dead for months, and this comes out only now? Give it up 'professionals'; he didn't die because of steroids. It's already been explained why he died.
  2. Considering some of the far out there rumours about Saddam's private life; that may not be so farfetched. L0L
  3. "Who do you think placed Saddam in power." Saddam did. "Also there was no insurgents prior to the invasion" Yeah, because it's so much better that the actual President of the country is the one murdering the civilians. L0L "If we never interfered with the goings on of the Middle East after World War 2, I am betting that three-quarters of the problems in that region would not have even occurred." You jokin' right? ME (like most of the world) has always had major problems. There's no doubt that if there was no Isreal; ME countries would just be attacking each other. Heck, did you forget Iraq-Iran or Iraq-Kuwait? But, oh yeah, that's Amerika's fault too. Amerika also started both world wars. In fact, Amerika created wars. Before Amerika's War of Independence war did not even exist. HAHAHAHA! Know your history. ME countries have gone to war throughout time well ebfore Amerika's existence. They don't need outside help to have the desire to kill each other.
  4. "There are nearly 100,000 Iraqis dead. The number of American soldiers do not even approach a tenth of that value." And, the numbers would be higher and lower respectively if theya cted like you claimed they did. "Every single Iraqi death can be attributed either directly or indirectly to American interference in that country." This? This is laughable. But, yeah, I guess the US is to blame when suicide bombers attack a market square, or an Islamic temple. LMAO Your. logic. doesn't make sense. Or when an Iraqi murders another Iraqi in an attempted robbery (which occurs in all countries). L0L And, I guess all the Iraqis put to death by Saddam, or who died in the war with Iran was the US' fault too. You must really think the US is the Boogeyman to think this illogical crap.
  5. "If we do not treat our enemies with the same respect and civil liberties we profess to cherish then how can we claim to be better than they?" If we do not treat our friends, and allies with the same respect and civil liberties we profess to cherish then how can we claim to be better than our enemies? "We don't target civilians, but we don't go out of our way not to see them get hurt or killed if the ones we are targeting just happens to be in the middle of them." Nonsense. If the Amerikan army acted like you profess; a lot less Amerikan soldiers would be dead, a lot more Iraqi civilians would be dead, and Baghdad would be an actual ruin.
  6. "The observation that the US is self-centred, overbearing and extremely selfish and quid-pro-quid in its help is.." Sounds like every country in the world. The only difference very few have the power or influence to do what they want.
  7. "Is imperialism good or not? Because that it is what it is," LOL To call the US an imperialist nation or an empire in its true form is silly. The US doesn't even come close to true empires like Rome or Britain of Old. "Iraq was the result of shortsidedness, greed, idealism and the pathetic misplaced sense of rightoussness that one nation of people suffered more than anyone else in this world, destined for help from our democratic supermen." Huh? I don't think anyone claimed Iraq suffered more than anybody else in the world. The real shortsightedness was the the UN/US/rest of the world NOT removing Saddam during the original Gulf War. That was the time to do it.
  8. Except SK seems to get along well with the US. Sure, they don't agree with the US on everything but it's not like SK is anti US.
  9. "Yeah that all sounds good, in reality it's hard to remember that many times where American intervention left people better off than they were before. Plenty of examples to the contrary." O RLY? Kuwait, Japan, most if not all of Europe, and South Korea are just some examples.
  10. "Take this economic bailout with the mortgage crisis and the Big Three automakers in the US. Those who ran those businesses into the dirt and those who took loans they could not afford to pay deserve to face the consequences of their actions. " I actually agree with this. The automakers are supposed to be private companies. The gov't shouldn't be babysitting them. Their failures are their own. However, Iraqis that were being smackdowned by Saddam were being tormented through no fault of their own; but because of Saddam's own greed for power, and control. "Iraq was no threat. Iraq was under control and held in check by the UN. We should not have invaded and every life loss is a waste. All the invasion of Iraq did for the US was double our national debt, weakened our economy, and pissed off a lot of other countries. Oh yeah, 3000+ American lives were worth that." L0L Again, you complain about these detahs like you actually care. But, I guess to you it's okay if Iraqis die as long as it is an Iraqi doing the killing. That's silly. As for 'pissing off' other countries; big deal. It's not like those other countries can do anything real against the US, anyways. If the US didn't invade than it would just be Saddam murdering Iraqis instead of AQ. *shrug* At least there's ana ctual chance the country will improve without Saddam. There was no hope of substantial positive changes for the better as long as Hussein controlled Iraq.
  11. Igorance/lack of knowledge is not an excuse. ME came out in 2007.
  12. That's because they're tools, punks, selfish, pieces of poo, and cowards. And, those are the polite words I am stuck using on this board...

Yeah, gotta give him kudos for that.
  14. "Aristes, all the deaths in Iraq was pointless. Iraq was no threat to the US. Saddam had no ability to harm a US citizen on US soil. Saddam and the IRaqi war machine was contained and had no teeth. Each and every death, US solider or otherwise, was a pointless and useless sacrifice. Every single one of them." Not pointless for m oral human beings who wnat EVERYONE to be free from tyranny not just those who happen to be born in a particular border. Why, in your mind, are only Amerikans worthy of freedom? I know, btw, if I'm walking down the street and see someone being assaulkt, I'm gonna do soemthing about it. Whether it's jumping in, or calling for backup (ie. police); I'm gonna do it. I'm not gonna ignore those who need help. I find it bigoted to state that Iraqis (or anyone) shouoldn't get help they so obviously needed just because they happen to live in another country. One could make an argument that the US handled things wrong; but a moral idea of 'non interverence' because it happens to be an Iraqi killing Iraqis is silly. But, hey, I live in North Bay. Why should I care if a some poor women in Sudbury is being raped? Doesn't effect me any. Right? *shrug*
  15. "MEPC came out May 28 2008." And? ME came out in 2007. MEPC is the same game as ME XBOX 360. It's hard to take talks seriously about it being a '2008' game.
  16. ME and TW are NOT 2008 games. I baisclaly only played two noteworthy 2008 games. NHL 09 is awesome. SOZ was horrible. Sports - 1 RPGs - 0
  17. "The Bush government's plan for Iraq was absurd." No argument from me about how the post war Iraq situation was mishandled.
  18. "War is a bad and simple-minded solution to problems, a solution which is likely to have repercussions more dire than the original problem." War is bad; but it's not always the most simple mindle solution either and it is just as likely to improve situations that existed pre war. I think most Amerikans/settlers felt their lives were better off after the War of Independence. And, I'm sure most blacks were better off after the Civil War as well. And, that's just two wars on Amerikan soil. No doubt German Jews felt safer in Germany after WW2 was done. And, I'm sure Kuwait was fine and dandy afterthe US/UN went to war on their behalf. Its simple minded, imo, to claim that war is simple minded or is considered the easy way out. In fact, appeasment or ignoring problems is the easy way out. Of course, ideally, problems would always be solved without war; but sadly the world isn't Happy Happy Land of Laughing Lollipops.

Waa waa.. Not greed. The Maple Leafs didn't want him anyways considering they tried to trade him last season. Oh yeah, but that wasn't selfish of them, right? He went to a team that actually wants him. Good on him. And, he owes the Rangers, or any other team nothing. He most espicially doens't owe fans a damn thing. And, also smart business. As a job, Sundin should make the best business decision for himself. Not silly teams. Toronto, or any other team doesn't care about Sundin so why should he care about them?
  21. Dragonheart - Entertaining movie. Fantasy done right. The villain is such a tool. L0L Chasing Amy - More evidence that Ben Affleck is simply underrated as an actor. Fantastic movie all around. Also, currently mid way through Xena Season 4.
  22. "Nice rose colored glasses you have there, Volourn. The economy is in shambles, both foreign and domestic policies are in the crapper. We are 10 trillion in debt, with a 1 trillion deficit. I don't really care if the US is better off than some other countries. I don't live in those countries. I live here in the US and the US is worse off now than it was 8 years ago. That is the bottom line and that is the only thing that matters to me." No rose coloured glasses needed. Just plain old fashion facts.
  23. "Not long for Bush to be kicked out of the White House" He never got kicked out. Bush was President of a Democratic nation, and repsects the fact. His terms are up so he leaves. "and Obama to come in to pick up the pieces." Obama will likely do a good job but, really, there's no 'pieces' to pick up. US is still one fo the best, and freeist countries in the world. "Hopefully the US will be in better shape 4 years down the line." Still in better shape than Saddam's Iraq or the Taliban's Afghanistan. And, better off than the vast majority of countries for that matter.
  24. "and this^ is coming from someone who watches The Young and the Restless..." Y&R has eveyrthing one would need to find a show entertaining - solid writing, great acting, characters one cna care about. I'd rather watch a serial drama than a 2 hour movie with cookie cutter characters that will become irrelevant ocne the movie is over. On a soap, you actually see character really grow and change over the course of time instead of over 2 silly hours. "AND Dawson's Creek ffs" hey, I never claimed that DC is the best show ever. It isn't. It's your typical teenage soap opera histronics. However, my point is that Pacey Witter as a character has actually been elevated above the atual source. DC was watchable. That's it.
  25. "It has te potential to become as cult as "yankee go home" lol." Except he's one guy, and many Iraqis admonished him for it including Iraqi leaders.
