EA can do what it wants with property owns. And, what companies get closed when 'making tons of profit'? That's silly. There is no logical reason for a company like EA to close companies that make money. And, I'm not being cynical. I'm being optimisitic. Cynical would be whining like a baby and how RPGs are doomed if BIo were to close down. I'm optimistic enough to have a happy outlook and look forward to other companies' work. How is that cynical?

"Iasically, if you had a situation where a pregnant woman is killed by invading orc: -KOTOR1/NWN1 said "Oh, the poor unborn baby and the woman!", to which you could reply "It is horrible, and I am so sorry" or "Pfft, I don't care about them". -KOTOR2 said, "The pregnant woman died because she was weak. Because she did not have the power." -The Witcher said, "Pregnant women die. It ****ing sucks." -Dragon Age is likely to say, IMO, "Look at that pregnant woman die, with her unborn child. This is our reality. This is what the Blight/whatever means to our land. That child will never know life, etc, etc."" How, exactly, does this make TW darker than the others? Because it has swears? Nor does this make KOTOR2 darker either.

"One of the things I found frustrating in the first game was the null choice." Actually, ME had lots of choices. The problem was that consequences shown for choices made weren't as far reaching as I would like. But, the game had tons of choices to make - both big and small. "A great improvement in ME2 would be that the player would actually know his or her response. Sure, it wasn't unpredictable to 100%, but there were enough situations were my character simply didn't act accordingly to my choices. Abstractions can be good, but less abstraction on dialogue next time thankyouverymuch." I actually agree with you. I liek ME's dialogue and as awhole the system worked well; but I personally am one of the anal people who prefers to know exactly what my character is gonna say...

Nothing is for sure. And, if BIO gets folded, that's tough but I will have zero mercy for them, and will just find my games from another company. EA is a huge company, and they don't have time to play spaghetti games. If they feel closing BIO down will make/save them money/keep them in profitable business; they will most assuredly will. This is a business. Not a charity.

I guess he was desperate to play after the Rangers dumped his butt, and his begging them for a job fell on deaf ears. L0L That seems like insulting contract for a guy who is likely to make the HOF.

He shouldn't have insulted my mother. He should stick to the subject next time. P.S. ME2 will be awesome.

"Remind me Volo? What sets him apart from yourself?" You didn't claim to respect me. You claimed to respect him (and all of Obsidian) yet called him a retard. "After all, I can bring myself to agree with you if I actually agree with you, and everyone knows I think the best part of you slid down your mom's leg . " Nah. If you want to get gross, the best part of me slid down YOUR mom's leg. Stop the grossness as you can't outgross me. Trust me on that.

ME2 doesn't need 'better melee'. Why melee when you have guns? It's silly for a futuristic setting. If anything, minor changes to melee is all that's required since the combat is gun and special power focused, anyways. More varied enemies the better, of course, cna't argue about that.

Civilians far away from them don't fight back.. the army would.... -
"you are required to acknowledge a ream of text as having been read and agreed to. That ream of text is your list of rights as a buyer of the game, of which there are relatively few, and that agreement is binding." No. EULAs are not the law. This is why companies don't usually drag people into court for 'breaking' them because they know a good part of the EULA would be laughed out of court.

"a person who respects what's being created by these folks." You show respect by calling someone a retard? WOW!

"It isn't? So how do you win battles without manually aiming and clicking (like you do in ALL shooters)? Please explain." It's an Action RPG. Also, I never played a RPG where you didn't have to manually aim and click so your silliness is silly. ME is not a shooter. It's an Action RPG. I think you are confusing the two. "ME combat wasn't good 'for a RPG'. Nor was KOTOR. Shallow gameplay with limited tactical breadth and depth doesn't make for compelling RPG combat." ME's combat is better than most other RPG combat including the so called 'old skool' ones. It definitely has more tatical 'breadth' (lol) and depth than most. "Which is a pretty sad state of the current WRPG industry." L0L Like old skool RPGs were any better on the whole. Also, are you actually claiming that JRPG combat is better? HAHA.

"QFT (still love you V even if your blind loyalty of nwn/bioware gets in your way of objective opinion)" This would be funny if I thought NWN was perfect, and had no criticism about it. Only the blind haters think I think NWN is perfect. Nor did I say NWN's graphics are perfect; but they're much better than what some are saying. You calimed that NWN's graphics were trashed on its original release by everybody. That simply isn't true. People are claiming that IE graphics were better than Aurora's. That is also false. *shrug* The fact that NWN (a 2002 game)'s grpahics isn't as good as games made in 2009 is a silly comparison that proves nothing. NWN's graphics were better than more than a few of its fellow 2002 game sincluding the overrated MW and its brown poo poo.

NWN graphics > IE graphics.

"In the resulting fistfight, my money's on the hot woman..." Mine too as I wouldn't want to damage the 'goods'... P.S. Yeah, I'm a pig. But, in my defense, I'm also a male... So, it should go without saying... P.S. SOZ is just plain SOZZY. MOTB 4 THA W!

"How powerful you are for the main planets depends on how many UCW you've done. I will say though that a 30 + level soldier can easily stand in the middle of a firefight for long periods of time soaking damage." Eh? No. No matter how much of the side quest planets you do, you will probably end up about the same level anyways. *shrug* Enemies will slaughter you whole sale if you just stand out in the open for long periods of times no matter how much damage you can soak. But, meh, whatever makes one feel better.

O RLY? Tell that to Freddy Krueger! -
"Its a fact the rendering engine for nwn1 was dated out of the box. Most every review said so and was pretty obvious to any gamer." Simply not true. Must explain why most reviews rated its graphcis very well, and most gamers loved its graphics. Sorry, don't let your own bias or internetz' geek fool you into thinking you guys speak for everyone.
-
"since eventually you had enough shield to survive anything and you were better off just strafing." wut? I stayed out in the open for too long and I would auto die espicially against multiple enemies. But, hey, it sure beats KOTOR where there was no such thing as cover, and you can stay out in the open all day and live.

NWN graphics > KOTOR + IE graphcs

"Yes you do indeed get off posting in threads like this magical Volo!" No, I only 'get off' (who actually speaks like that?) to HOT women. Games just don't do it for me. Sorry.

ME's combat is awesome. KOTOR's combat is plain, old fashion crap. It's super dumbed down D&D. "Depends if you prefer D20 turn-based combat or third person shooters." Funny enough, I prefer D&D over shooters and ME's combat is superior to KOTOR. Then again, ME isn't a shooter and KOTOR isn't turn based so you even got what they are wrong so your assessments are useless. R00fles!
-
"OTOH, ME was differently paced, alot faster and more action orientated," Oh please, KOTOR had just as much combat as ME did and wa sjust as much action oriented. And, at least ME has the excuse of being an Action RPG.

"Ashley clammed up early," She talked to me throughout the game. *shrug* "You also had quite a bit of freedom on each planet" 4 STAR MAPS! "something that was sadly missing in ME." WRONG! "But except for Udina screaming at the council and an occassional hostile comment to Shepard, it's not really dramatized." Sure, it is. Multiple side quests deal with racism/hatred for others different from one's self.

Nope. I think JE is done.
