Too many injuries are killing my Mets. Nealry season over for us. Thank god, the rest of our division isn't that good either. L0L

Alanshu: It was a very early hype point by BIO. Really, really early. "and enslaves nations with necromancy" Also, Alanshu is winning this with a slam dunk. Anyone who loves BG should not be dissing other games' 'freedom of choice'. I love BG; but it's not a game that gives you a lot of real role-playing choice either - espicially in rgeards to character background. Every player has the same abckground - you grew up in Candlekeep with your foster father Gorion and your foster sister Imoen. That's it, that's all. NO CHOICE. DA is offering 6 backgrounds in which gives you 6 ALTERNATE BEGINNINGs in which you get multiple choices which will effect the rest of your game. Sorry, even if DA offers even a 1/100th of what the origins are hyping it still wins over BG in this regard. L0L

Brashear is a useless signup since he's just a goon who will play maybe 5 minutes a game and get suspended at least once. "Avery is can contribute to the offense" Yeah, he can contribute, but your offense should not be dependent on him. "Isn't Drury a winger?" center. How cna you not know that? The guy is considered one of the best face off takers in the game. Heck, it's the *only* thing he's good at.

For 3 seasons. Zherdev is a free agent at the momemntunm, and honestly, I hope he doesn't come back. Not worth the price. We need to trade Drury, a draft pick, and some other lesser player for Heatley. Then we'll be in busy.
-
Eh. DA gives more options on your charcetr abckground and people ar ecomplaining that it's more limiting than older RPgs which gave you one defacto character background? WOW! BIO's games continually improve in the RPG department. JE, KOTOR, and ME are all 1 million x the rpg that BG is. Argue all you want that BG is the better game (heck, I might even agree); but as far as role-playing, the newer games win easily. And, BG, also had 'choke points' that you had to go through to complete the game. *shrug* The thing about the DA origins is that they and the chocies you make during them are supposed to effect you througout the game.

Except the Rangers aren't uptemp, and they have no one on offense who can play that way. NYR are just just another MIN for Gaborik.
-
His attitude is fine as long as he's treated with respect which Ottawa didn't do. Ranger shave Gaborik. Definitely an improvement over Gomez; but not worth $7.5mil...

Great dela by the Hawks despite the usual over the top 12 years. The price is actually rather cheap for them.
-
No. Selling out is a myth that people like to use to bash people needlessly when they do something said person dissaproves of.
-
"button-mushing retard rehabilitation programs KOTOR/JE/ME combat " You don't button mash in any of those games, and I say that while loathing KOTOR combat. KOTOR's combat espicially is rather similar to BG's.

"For example, Michael bay makes bad movies that really sell, but he has not sacrificed his creativity, since he has been pretty consequent in his vision (= special effects, explosions, teenheroes and female boobage). The minute Bay will start talking about "reaching out", "expanding the base" and "making a movie that anyone can enjoy", then he has sold out by the very definition that i provided." No. People change.

'Crazed fans'. Even the article write can't be unbiased here claling them psychos.

WOW! Heatley must really hate the idea of playing for Edmonton to stop a trade he asked for. L0L Poor, poor Oil. Nobody wants to play for them. Though, Heatley has to be careful because now that Ottawa has to pay him a $4million bonus their demands for him will likely go up making it even harder to trade him. As a Ranger fan, here's my offer: Drury + 1st round draft + some other low key player for Heatley. DO IT!

"Have you befriended other people on the forum?" Huh? I'm not here to be friends. I alreayd told you repeatedly why I'm here. To discuss games, and other stuff. Not to be buddies. This is a discussion board; not a buddy board. "I don't find a lot of folks who like to talk about some of this off topic stuff in real life. My friends are into things other than politics and the ones who aren't tend to hold the same views I do. I don't like that. This board gives me a chance to see alternate views." Bingo.
-
"Actually, while this would be true for cases like, uh, pre-release Oblivion, DA's ridiculous marketing has been mocked in various places." What are you talking about?
-
"I do mean the Obsidian boards, Vol." And, that's the key. The Obsidian boards (as is the Codex) are just as bias against BIO games as the BIO boards are bias towards them. They don't represent the majority of reviews. It should also be noted that most of the people who waste time bashing ME on Obsidian and Codex forums will be amongst the first to buy ME2. That should tell you A LOT about how little their written opinions mean to themselves. P.S. I didn't accuse you of being anti BIO. "Hell, I've really enjoyed A LOT of Bioware games." Shouldn't this be all what matters to you? What you think of BIO's games is what should determine wether you buy them or not. Not what other posters (including me ) think or even 'professional reviews'. Don't be a lemming, and think for yourself!

"There are people who go on forums to chat and build relationships with other posters, and there are people who go on forums for some other purpose. Volourn and Lord of Flies seem to be trying to fulfill that other purpose, but I honestly just don't get it. " then there are toublemakers like you who just feel need to troll others because they don't want to be your buddy. Get over it. It is obvious why I cam here - to disucss Obsidian games, and hanginga round to disucss other games and sometimes off topic too because interesting conversations here. Why would I want to befirend a troll like yourself?

"As far as I know, the doctors have never worked on any of the games. There have always been, and still are, people who are passionate about making RPGs at Bioware, but the company wasn't founded by two eager young game developers, was it? " Eh? Why else would they have gone into game development? There's no way they could have known for sure that BIO would ahve been this successful. And, they no doubt have played a development role in each of their games. At least when it comes to general design. I believe they had games like ME and JE in the back of their mind long before they actively started working on it. They were also rather upfront in their interest to make a MMO well before theirs was officially announced. To try to take away theirtheir credit for BIO's success is silly. No doctors, no BG. Period.
-
"Too many mixed reviews for my tastes" RLY? You spend too much time on the Codex, and Obsidian boards. Majority of other palces including 'professional' reviews were rather overwhelmingly positive.
-
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Hopefully, we'll trick some retarded team to take our other useless $7 million man.
-
Except they have showed the 'real' content of the game.

"Bioware's NPC AI is legendary in it's badness" Compared to what? I haven't see many companies do a better job. BIO's AI is very functional folr the most part. Not perfect, mind you, but there is no such thing.

I so love how the masses have somehow enshirned Micheal Jackson as some type of heroic saint sinc ehis death after over a decade of slamming him with possibly true or false accusation of liking little boys, and other nefarious misdeeds. Silly hypocrites. As for the other celebrities. Meh. Unimportant. Though, Mr. Carradine was cool in some of his movies. KUNG FU!
-
"Guess the Bioware guys are already getting skittish" Eh? Those banning shad nothing to do with the games. BIO is well known for punishing troublemakers who spam needless things (like those series of pics) quickly. Not the way I'd do things (i'm all about the freedomz); but not my boards. *shrug*
