  1. Loved the first, 2nd was ok, never played the 3rd...I liked the first half of Last Revelation because it went back to the Tomb concept more, but too many bugs. I even had to download someone else's save game at one point to continue and I never finished it. Chronicles (5) I hated because it didn't feel like Tombraider...hubby liked that one quite a bit tho, for some reason. Angel of Darkness...the controls and Kurtis didn't bother me too much, tho they were a little frustrating at times. Actually, I found #6 to be the easiet one to complete, even with some of those bosss where you had to re-load several times to get lucky. Didn't know they were making another one, thought the franchise had died, lol. Well, I'm sure I'll be buying it just to check it out. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be something great. :D
  2. Maybe by this time the forum could use an archive section for the Kotor threads - still searchable, just not reply-able. :D
  3. I don't remember being very rich my original play through K2...but I tend to hoarde everything because I 'might' want to use or experiment with it, so I stay poor. But as said, there was never anything worth buying. I think the most I spent was on a handgun for Atton in one of the city shops.
  4. http://www.giantrabbitrescue.co.uk/ :D Edit - oh...some other versions of the story I've seen put the bunny at 22 pounds. But at any rate, yeah, a lot of the size ir probably fur...that and while the bunny IS big it's probably not nearly as huge as it looks from that forced perspective picture.
  5. Last night I had some Kahlua & milk, which I haven't had in over a decade. A lot sweeter than I remembered, but pretty tasty. This morning I had some wheat toast with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spread and my usual bowl of veggies. I'd never tried it before, but now I have, and can say that I Can't Believe It's Not Butter should be renamed "I Can Believe It's Not Butter But It's More Buttery Than Margarine." The stuff tastes horrible if you just try to eat a smidgen off your spoon (unlike real butter which is all creamy tasting), but tastes decent melted on the bread. I'm not convinced using it is healthier than any other butter-like-option, however.
  6. Season 1 of "House, MD" Hugh Laurie rules.
  7. The blur animation is really annoying. I used a little file to get rid of only the speed-blur effect. Much better.
  8. http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/...4/il/il03a.html http://www.planet-pets.com/rabtgiantangora.htm http://animal-world.com/encyclo/critters/rabbits/angora.php (page down to the grey bunny) I'm not convinced it's a hoax. Breeders of pets do weird things. Plus that picture was probably taken at a weird angle with a wide lens. Edit: plus the guy probably is small, his forearms look very short...I looked at the pic magnified and it's a pretty good chop if it is a fake...which it could still be.
  9. Yay.....he's back!!! :D
  10. "Nothing" w/David Hewlett & Andrew Miller That was one friggin' strange movie. The first half was actually pretty damn funny to me, but the 2nd half/ending wasn't so hot. Edit - I did like seeing Hewlett in something besides sci-fi. He's actually pretty interesting outside of it.
  11. I post when I feel like it and I'm not too busy obsessing over some other task, so it varies a lot. Sometimes I skip days or weeks entirely, which is part of why I can seem oblivious (I'm also just oblivious...). I think it's been said that I'm a 'casual poster'
  12. Blockbuster had the original The Fog for $7, so I bought it and can review it again to see if I think it belongs Carpenter's 'good film' list, heh...along with a bunch of other pre-viewed's. Anyone ever heard of a film called Running on Empty with River Phoenix/Judd Hirsch? I saw that like 13-14 years ago or something...good little lite-drama flick. Can't wait to see it again. I miss River.
  13. Doesn't work for PC version. Xbox only. At least in California, USA.
  14. First thing I saw was the name Will Ferrell and I nearly had a stroke. Then I realized the film is animated, so maybe it'll be fine. I loved C. George when I was little....2nd only to Snoopy. I had one of those stuffed monkeys too and he, Snoopy, & Woodstock all had many backyard adventures. :D
  15. I like some of John Carpenter's pre-mid-80's movies - his remake of The Thing, Halloween, Escape From New York, Starman...but The Fog has such bad acting...it's been a long time since I've seen it tho.
  16. Eh? You lost me. I've read the Drizzt books but I know nothing else of any Drizzt, Salvatore, or FR backstory/hsitory/legend/whatever.
  17. Light brown wth auburn highlights or what some might call "dirty blonde". No beard. Trimmed and tidy beards look handsome/charming but I still don't like facial hair.
  18. The first trilogy was definitely the best one. I miss Entreri as a foil for Drizzt. Drizzt may not be superman, but he's made out to be so supreme in combat that he really needs someone who can fight him to a draw to be a counterpoint and to make things more interesting. As to Drizzt's self-pity - eh...that's not self-pity so much as introspection and plot-extending soap opera. Thomas Covenant, now...that was self-pity. :D
  19. I still don't understand why the original Fog is considered such a classic.
  20. Red onions are tasty things. Alas, I have a craving for chocolate & caramel so I'm going out to buy some expensive sweets. And it will be goooooood.
  21. Eeep. That's one way to get people over their love affairs with cars...I could see 60% as a major deterrant measure but that seems a bit excessive.
  22. I just take what the game gives me. Which is usually either almost all purple or all yellow/green.... Unless, of course, I use the editor so I can have exactly what I want for everyone. And then it would be orange (or bronze), silver, and blue, in that order. Not usually fond of orange but I really liked the reddish-orange in the Kotor games.
  23. Slightly less spammy than the other one I posted...since I am very short, I probably would like this car. Plus it's orange. Hehe.
  24. I love Drizzt (in the books - his 'role' in BG was stupid...). I intensely dislike Salavatore's writing. The two things war within me constantly when trying to decide if I want to pick up his latest Drizzt book. I think he writes good combat scenes, even if they are long. In fact, since I dislike most of the rest of his 'style', I wish the combat stuff would go on longer. Wulfgar is the one I hate. What a boring loser. Salvatore does best when dealing with his Dark Elf characters..not just Drizzt, either. His father was cool, and so was that rogue leader guy who wanted that..uh....evil knife thing.
  25. Congrats. Sounds like an exciting time in your life.
