I just saw on the wiki that Weaver and Biehn are in talks to reprise their roles in the new Alien film? Wait, isn't Reese dead? In the films I mean, I know he's in that game. But in the films, he's dead, so if he's in a new one, will it be a flashback or are they going to find some silly reason to say he never died, or maybe he'll be the new android or a clone or...oh I give up. It never makes sense anymore.

Recorded playtime in the save files?

I don't hate Alien 3 ... it has some ok points, including Charles Dutton. I just didn't find it very entertaining. Went in expecting a thrilling action or horror film and got...something else instead. Was not at all into the dog-aliens and didn't find anything thrilling or suspenseful. Not to mention the way Newt and Hicks were dealt with felt really poor (and I'm not a big Newt fan) - I'd rather they have just not mentioned them at all. Alien 4 is the one I really can't stand. It was actually on TV this week and I was watching a small portion of it, which reminded me how terrible it was. Although it was funny because it's one of those films where when I saw it, I didn't know who a couple of the actors in it were, so seeing it now I was all "Hey, that's Tuco! (Breaking Bad) And hey, that's Warrick! (CSI)" lol

Party composition
LadyCrimson replied to Madscientist's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I seem to recall early on that there was an intent that if you wanted to use a party of six of one class, you could, it would just be difficult. Saw the PCWorld interview from 5 days ago where Sawyer says pretty much the same thing, so seems to me that whether you want a priest in your party (or a "typical" party makeup) is up to you....and one's preferred playstyle. So...I think I'm going to assume a priest is not "necessary" and my first party will attempt to not have any. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2886976/pillars-of-eternity-josh-sawyer-talks-mods-pc-first-focus-big-head-mode-and-more.html -
Eating lunch, watching Pulse on Starz (the US remake I guess). It's a terrible movie. Heheh.

Not about over-heating but don't want to make a new topic just for it... ...anyone know of a way to get rid of the back/forward/reload icon buttons in the r-click menu?
-
Bar & Grill place, phone order: Me: "I'd like the NY Steak sandwich." Them: "That's not on the menu anymore, we have a ribeye with italian/pesto rub/spices etc. instead..." Me: *doesn't want to stare at the menu again* ... "...ok, fine, I'll try that." ...never know, could be awesome.

Expansion to be ToSC style

The quote quoted in the OP pleases me. +1 -
Oddly, even when I had 8 indoor cats I never really had issues with cathair balling up. I guess I vacuum/dustmop enough to prevent them. But hubby likes those "plush" acrylic throw blankets for the couch. Every time I get a new one, there are HUGE colored fiber dust balls everywhere, daily, for weeks. >.> I know dead skin cells make up a lot of finer household dust (shake out a mattress pad cover in the sunshine some time...), but the rest is largely paper/cloth fiber. The amount from toilet tissue/tissue boxes/bath towels alone is horrible. Fun buying new cotten towels and all the dust in the bathroom turns blue...
-
Sometimes I want to ban all textile and paper material from my house, because of the prodigious quantities of fiber dust they produce. But I don't think I'd enjoy using corn cobs in the bathroom. Plus our garage is too small to pull double duty as a clothes closest.

Party composition

That would be my next question ... if a priest feels like a must, does that mean two priests is even better. ...in some games I'd do stuff like no-melee fighter parties just because I like unconventional parties. It's going to be interesting to see what one can get away with in PoE, from what tidbits I've been reading in the beta forums. -
^ when I v-blogged it all seemed fine/I didn't really notice the giggles for some reason, but when you can't see the face it seemed a little weird to me. Maybe if I did the PiP thing w/your face in the corner. And yeah, consistent volume can be difficult to maintain at first too and I'm a quiet talker to begin with.

That reminds me, I tried an episode of Puss N Boots series Netflix was airing. I thought for sure I'd at least like the Puss N Boots chr. bits if nothing else. I didn't. Although in fairness I had a difficult time focusing on the actual show/dialoge because I kept focusing on the fact the animation of Puss N Boots seemed completely different from the films or Shrek holiday specials. Facial movement was off in a creepy way, like watching a doppelganger that you know is a doppelganger. Bugged the heck out of me. Turned it off.

I thought about doing some Let's Plays once (narrated) but when I tried to practice, I realized two things: --I do this mild/quiet giggle when I'm amused, and apparently I'm amused a lot --I sniffle/mini-clear my throat a lot (allergies). I can control the latter but I couldn't cease the giggles.

Party composition

I've been wondering the same thing. Some rpg's it feels mandatory to actually have the "priest" class in party, some it doesn't. -
Time Lapse, some indie 2014 movie about a funky looking camera that takes photos of the next day future. Certainly nothing original and reminded me a lot of a sci-fi-ish version of '94's Shallow Grave, but I liked it a fair amount. Started a bit slow and the chrs. make some silly decisions but still entertaining. Worth a watch for its genre, imo.

Finally got to the end of Crossing Lines, season 2. The first couple of episodes were a bit lackluster for me but then it picked up, although not as good as 1st season. But then the final episode .... GAH. Me no like. Too much at once and too flimsy. And the rumor is Fichtner won't be in Season 3 so my main reason for watching will be gone. I think that's it for me.

Watching TWD right now. "I hate apple sauce." ... lol ...car won't start, OF COURSE. ...oh Rick, you're so stubborn. ...go Glen! But eww... Well that was a decent episode. Not the best, but a good one.

Do they all have to be done tonight? Lots of caffeine. And then some more. And...I know it's hard, but try not to spend 2 hours on each photo. *wink*

Someone who spends too much money for a MMO/f2p/whatever and regrets it/feels manipulated, I have sympathy and may agree that the tactics used to get people to spend that money is rather manipulative and plays on well known psychological emotional addictive factors...pretty much what most marketing is, really. Someone who continues to do that in lots of other MMO/f2p/whatever even afterwards, and still is complaining, I have no sympathy.
