I'm definetly looking forward to Machine Games' Wolfenstein. As far as I'm concerned, that small team set the standard for game pacing with Riddick.

Release date announced

AP 2? Yes. The others? Not so much. I've preordered it as from the descriptions it seems like a unique approach. Maybe a flawed gem like AP as opposed to the familiar grounds of NV/K2, or atleast I'm hoping. -
I'm glad I waited. All the Resi games are 75% off today, including Revelations. /pulls trigger Have you played RE6? I'll probably get it in the fall or year end sale along with Revelations. I doubt it's as horrible as the RE 1,2,3 fanboys make it seem. I liked RE5, though it wasn't really horror, it's still better than most crap games out there and I'm assuming this is the case with RE6 as well. Agree? Disagree? I deserve to be dropkicked and pummelled to death by Wesker?

Does the director's cut come with new voice actors or is Sarif still voiced by the male version of Frasier Crane's Roz?

Looks better than standard joystick for FPS but still is no keyboard n mouse. I'd get it if the price isn't crazy as I've been meaning to get a controller for the PC anyway.

If Obsidian kickstarts a space opera RPG, would you back it?

My significant other was the same. There was nothing Obama did that granted him support in her eyes other than the narrative that Obama is a good guy who tucks his kids into bed at night and "cares", while Romney doesn't care about the 47%. The idea that a vote against Romney was a vote for Obamacare is diminished even more when factoring in that Romney had his own form of healthcare as governor, that included funding for abortions. Basically the election came down to which candidate seemingly cares more. It took precedent even over the economy.

Japan has trouble looming it's way with the leagues of elderly and an economy/population unable to support it. Out of what I've seen, the country that does it best is probably Aus.

Those prices easily vary depending on where you get your procedure and whether you have insurance or not and vice versa. For instance, if you pay out of pocket a hospital will usually give you atleast 50% off of what they'd charge your insurance if you have it.

For FPS, mouse and keyboard is the only way to go. I can't stand playing them with controllers and I don't see how the steam controller is going to change that. It looks like it might be pretty cool otherwise, for other game genres.

Am thinking of pre ordering it, something I never do these days. It just looks different, plus the narrative should be strong and the set pieces look a thousand times better than what is normally released from Obsidian.

I haven't watched South Park in years, and haven't payed much attention to the development of the game, but it actually seems like more fun than yet another RPG set in the typical RPG setting. Also curious to see if Matt and Trey's involvement enhances the game, makes it something a bit more original or what exactly.

Only if they used a modern engine. I've got far too many isometric games to finish, which seemingly takes me years to do. They couldn't come close to funding something like ME through Kickstarter anyway so hopefully a publisher comes along so they can do something interesting again. -
You are late to the party, gaider already is digging this gold mine. Lol, but what would the servants say?

It just shows how truly benign society is once it reaches the point of caring about feminism in virtual reality. Sounds far too much like some Hot Coffee. *facepalm*

So smart yet so far away.

The time is right for Obsidian to make a sci fi rpg with a tranny lead. Female to male post op since it's become too trendy the other way around. The story is set in a not too distant world where those pesky corporations have screwed us once again, and all the newborns are born unisex with a bump instead of genitals. Now, it's your choice to stick to your newly acquired guns and be a man or try to reverse the process and defeat that greed. Come on Obsidian, this is your calling or atleast include this character's history in PE.

Isn't the gamespot reviewer a tranny with the pseudo surname "Petit"? This person is complaining about the female treatment in a video game? How much more stereotypical/cliche/geek driven can someone be? And how limp wristed can someone be to even defend that? It's pure comedy. Are you Duke Nukem? Duke Nukem or Carolyn Petit?

The main driving force of both games are exactly the same. What's different? The setting? LA Noire is the biggest divergence since it's basically the interrogation mini game instead of standard Rockstar missions. It's still the same concept, just tweaked. After the initial coolness of the setting wears off, you're playing a movie and running from point to point. Can't believe I actually had to explain this.
-
Because I wait and buy them when they cost me about the same as a side order of french fries and that's about all they're worth.
-
Yeah, the interrogation system is just bad. Really, the main thing I like is collecting the cars at this point. Everything else with the game is too repetitive for me to really care about it.

Somewhat in the same boat, except I'm not tired of combat, I'm tired of bad combat. Just installed Stalker Clear Sky as I haven't played the sequels yet, and hope that gives a little satisfaction. It was either that or reinstall something Bethesda as it seems they're the only ones who can make a game about walking around somewhat interesting despite all the hate thrown their way.

Agreed. Sounds ridiculously boring in typical Rockstar fashion. I have yet to finish GTA IV, La Noire and RDR. They're all more or less the same game with a different skin. I have yet to install Max Payne 3, but am hoping the more streamlined design actually makes the game more focused and actually fun to play.

I would be ok with rating games under the labels of Good, Bad and Ugly. It's not as if there's any truly great or perfect games out there, unless you're a "professional reviewer" and literally have to score a game high to keep the advertisements rolling in.
