I think the best option is PoE1 for Vancian caster y POE2 for the rest classes. The classic Vancian system dont like me but in PoE1 you dont need choose spell begin the day and have 4 spells for encounter in high level. Maybe need some adjust about number spells or have more skills for encounter (type Arcane Blast). But the new system with only 2 slot for pell level and need spent pointa for learn spella and the new grimoire system dont like me. Mayve you can change to poll for give option to choose between: -Pure PoE1 -Pure PoE2 -Martial PoE1 or Martial PoE2 / Vancian caster PoE1 or Vancian caster PoE2 The cypher and Chante have more or less same system in both games.

I dont sure about are asking me TT1. As I already put in the other post: I propose a simple system with materials and money you can create a grimoire with 2 blank slots for each level. And you can fill with spells but only can fill with spell you know for skills points OR have a copy in 1 grimoire. You spent time (1 day for level spell), money and materials, (more money and materials according to the level but NEVER rare/ultrarare/unique materials). You only can move to grimoire spells you can cast. And you cant blank loot/buyed grimoires, (no you cant change the spells in Grimoire of Vaporous Wizardry). But I understand all this system is probably too long and tired for a modder. A simpler system could be buy blank grimoires in some vendor The Dark Cupboard is probably the best option. After have the grimoire you can fill the slot with arcane spell you know for skill points or for have other grimoire. I really I dont sure the best method because I know nothing about mods and I dont know if those system are complicated or easy.

I post in general section ( https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/103281-petition-obsidian-allow-us-to-create-our-own-grimoires/ )about Obsidian implement the possibiity of create our custum grimoires in game. But I think Obsidian read or think seriously about this option. I know in Nexus they are 2 mods with new spells/grimoires, but I suggesting / asking / begging about a mod for the al people can create your own versions in game or export to game. I dont know nothing about mods and i dont know if this is easy or dificult.

First sorry for my English is not my native languaje. I like the Wizards, is my favourite class in near all games (computer or tabletop). I dont like much the new system, (they are a pseudo-sorcerer of D&D) but I understand in this stage of game the possiblity of change to old system or something similar is near zero or worse. The sad thing is: a Archemage create a new spell but he cant learn he need write in a grimoire for use because dont exist when won a level. In this moment we have 6 grimoires with exclusive spells: -Weathered Grimoire with Arcane Assault. -Snakeskin Grimoire with Nannasin's Cobra Strike. -Ninagauth's Teachings with Ninagauth's Freezing Pillar. -Iron-Clasped Grimoire with Concelhaut's Draining Missiles and Concelhaut's Crushing Doom. -Arkemyr's Grimoire with Arkemyr's Brilliant Departure and Arkemyr's Mercurial Madness. -Arkemyr's Illuminating Discoveries with Arkemyr's Brilliant Departure. And 1 grimoire with special skill: -Grimoire of Vaporous Wizardry, 1 more cast en each slot but damage always interrupt you. Obsidian comment when Beta about grimoire with special skills but we only have 1. Maybe expansions give more maybe not, I dont know. I think the fatigue return can fix the "no rest problem". Or force to sleep for recharge items For solo play the nerf in Figurines is a really hard blow specially in begin game or some hard fights.

You cant control Essential Phantom and Substantial Phantom. Esssential dont cast any spell and Substantial cast Arcane Clean near allies and spell reflect. I think you can control these guys in this patch, or I am wrong? -
I use Chill Fog in Fampyr and they cast fampyr gaze with the blind status. Or a blind character is enchated for a fampyr sometimes. Annoying bug.

Agreed with AndreColombo. The summon weapons need a upgrade. If a nomral weapon is same or better why summmon' And the unique weapons are usually more powerful. In my opinion Obsidian could change them so that when you use Empowerment in summon weapons/armor win special abilities same unique weapons. Or when you have more level they win abilities.
