I'm shifting my preorder to Brutal Legend. Not out of anger or anything, I just don't like having money sitting around in a preorder more than 2 months ahead of release. Very a-holey of Sega to wait till the day of supposed release to finally give official word. I hope people with preorders/those expecting it today somehow got notified... *cough* Valve. I hope the delay is used to make AP more awesome than it already looks. Also REALLY hope this is just a setback and not some sign of Obsidian death. Despite some flaws I love Obsidian games so far and I'm still eagerly awaiting AP & especially Fallout: New Vegas.

Not the later post season 5-6 X-File episodes. Nothing is as bad as those. BTW, what was wrong with the eye scene in Lost?

Heh, the ONLY JRPG I have remote interest in on 360 is Lost Odyssey. JRPGs are like dirty magazines. You hope nobody walks in on you while looking at them.

I know, I just wish they would come up with an actual excuse for why no one even bothered to fly one of those drones into the switch or, heck, my first though was just toss something heavy at the console until it closed. All it would have taken was one line of dialogue saying they can't do it that way for such and such a reason.

I don't think 6 seasons is too long. 4 or 5 seasons (perhaps 6) is about the right amount of seasons for a TV show for me (Battlestar Galactica, 4400, Babylon 5, Farscape, Stargate Atlantis, etc). Any longer than 6 and it's way too long (24, CSI, X-Files, Stargate SG1). No kidding about X-Files. The show was great in the first 4 or 5 seasons but it became ridiculous and lame somewhere around 6 or 7. 24's last season was pretty poor, but I'm hoping they can turn it around this season.

Heh, that part wasn't that hard. Getting the 'Don't get ****y, kid' (beat with 50% or more ship armor) achievement on the other hand...

Don't know what to think yet. For now its just a placeholder show until the REAL Lost starts and 24. The concept IS pretty cool though.

Well, I guess that means I can focus on Brutal Legend this Rocktober... Eight months does seem extreme but if it means a more polished game... polish away. Then again, if this is a MoW style DRM delay you can all go to HELL!

Even if you don't like the campaign of SoZ for some reason, it would still be worth 5 bucks just for the tileset, overland map function, new races, creatures and placables at that price. As someone who has played the original Pool of Radiance games I can absolutely appreciate what was done in SoZ. Heh, there was even a cameo appearance from a Pool of Radiance character.

I say bring back the flares from F1 & 2 with a larger light circumference than the pip boy light and the ability to throw them at enemies lighting them on fire.
