Someone insulted me because I said I'd buy it anyways if it got a low rating on GameSpot. How can you not buy it?! I love the KotOR series.

I would buy anything even if it wasn't Star Wars... I bought a cardboard Legolas that's lifesize or just about...and about a million posters too. Plus I bought gardening gloves and cut the fingertips off to have "scoundrel gloves". :cool: I buy anything if I can.

Malak is awesome -- he's got battle scars are awesome tattoos on his head! He blows up planets and hires people to do his servant work. just kinda says "Oh hell I'll do it myself". She doesn't blow anything up, she loses a hand, and manipulates. At least Malak relies on his strength.

I played light side both my male and female games... but since I realized that Disciple doesn't like Dark Siders that much, I've gone for DS Mastery. Besides, I'm planning to play a DS Male to get the value out of the game. I didn't pay $50 to be the same thing if there's other options.

Hm, I'll choose Yogi Bear. ^_^ But out of the two, it's Handmaiden. Di is just... a "psycotic wonderboy" -- like I read in a many insulting post or something. Between his Dark Side speeches (it's like a male version of Bastila! ), beaver teeth, strange character, no backstory, and just weirdness, it's Handmaiden. Like Epicenter said, her story is a lot more interesting -- being rejected by half sisters is better than Di's...wait what is his story exactly? I think I skippd that dialogue.

Exactly. They're like "Meditate you must, gain Force you will..." and then what's it good for? You get sent on 'missions' just cause that lazyass council can't do it themselves.

Was I satisified? Yeah, I guess so. Ending sucked but hey -- if you extract the cut content crap, the lack of romance subplot, and the mangled ending, it's a great game. I never issues with it running and so forth except the occasional crash with loading screens but that happened all the time with KotOR I. Better than the first? Of course not. KotOR I has won an official spot on my "Priceless Games I am Emotionally Attached To"...I will never part with it -- except I let my friend borrow it so I converted her into a KotOR Addict...

Of course. What's the point of benig a Jedi when you can't use your Force powers for anything? I'd go just to see what a saber can really do in action!

I most definatly love that line...and it's so awesome because it comes from Atton! ...but since we were cheated the little romance lines, and Di says them in the end after the rebuilt Jedi enclave, I just used the savegame editor, made Di look like Atton, turned off the sound and presto: Atton was talking!

I thought that Atris (like you I didn't know names) was one of the main heroes. When I saw Bao-Dur in some screen shots, I remember thinking, "Hm, he'd make a good romance..." even back then. I thought that Kreia on the back of the box would be this Jolee Bindo character -- neutral, indifferent, etc. She wouldn't offer the same hilarious statements as Jolee, but have the same kind of character: old, tired, and along for the ride. I didn't even know that Atton existed until I actually played Peragus II and said, "Han Solo" as he was talking. Even his outfit gave him away -- they're wearing pratically the same clothes! For Nihilus, Sion, and Visas, I thought they were Malaky people. I thought that you'd kind of face Nhiulus (and that he'd actually talk instead of gargling Listerine <_< ) about twice like you did Malak in KotOR I. Visas would be his little aid; you'd kill her. Or I thought Sion could be the Malak guy who you faced a few times and then the "big boss" at the end would've been Nihlus since he seems to be the bigwig of the baddies since he's basicallly in every snigle concept art shot with Atris. I thought that maybe Atris knew him or something and they would duel...? Let me just say I was more eager to play the end game then.

I love this guy's little Lego things. The Lord of the Rings ones are pretty cute too.
