What happened to the rest of the K1 crew?
darth spock replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Before. I'll just sort of make up my own endings: Juhani: wandering the galaxy aimlessly if Revan was LS, just sort of lost without him/her Jolee: dead probably... old age will take its toll eventually. Mission: returned to Tatooine to wait for Griff to come back and eventually found him after two years of searching. She now lives with him on Corsasaunt (or wherever the main Jedi council place is) and they own a store together. Zaalabar: Returned to Kashyyyk to become next Chieftain of his village; great hunter of Shadowlands, historical Wookiee figure person, etc. Upheld for assisting Revan and such. Canderous: Bastila: Carth: -
the character or npc of least importance
darth spock replied to SW fan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Tough one? That's BS! Disciple is the least important!! ..or Goto, he's really messed up. I wanted to throw him off the loading ramp and then jump into hyperspace so he'd be *gone*. ^_^ -
Why is everyone here so good at art? I'm so jealous!! Anyways, good work. Try to draw more -- if it's something that people love, it's fanart.

The Visas vs Exile intro fight...
darth spock replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
He actually got into the ready-stance to fight? Hah. Too bad he's just a hologram. ^_^. -
I avoid last names because... A) it looks weird when they have your name above your player in the game... everyone else is first-name and you've got too names. B) When you say "My name is Forename Surname" it just sounds sort of messy and too professional.

What happened to the rest of the K1 crew?
darth spock replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only time "Jolee Bindo" was mentioned was when Disciple was babbling about saving the history or something. It was like "...and the adventures of JOLEE BINDO..." -
Dark Force Witch Ah, you seem to know the truth of the Force as being a kind of magic. Well, my pupil, you will learn that the dark side is the most powerful magic of all. With it, you can carve an empire of pain and fear on nearly any world you choose. Seek out those places where weaklings still cower from the darkness. There you may rule unchallenged, as a dark Force witch. Awesome...

When you play too much Kotor2
darth spock replied to Nexinnel's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You start copying the AI and you use the same sort of words. You also say "Nothing. Never mind" after approaching someone like 20 times. You also "expand your vocabulary" and use KotOR insults: schutta, go space (insert name, thing, or "yourself" here), etc. -
Revan: Females: Anna, a name I forget Male: Atari Exhile: Females: Aneela Male:Seth

Cut Content- The Wishlist
darth spock replied to Wild Storm's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
For starters I'd love to see DS Atton kicking Disciple's ass. Also.. - Atton's Death - Droid Factory - Party attacking Darth Traya - Handmaiden vs Visas - Other cut Malachor "stuff" -
Adding cut content to KotOR II. Some ideas...
darth spock replied to Mad_Scientist's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'm seriously doubting that Lucas Arts or Obsidian will make an expansion for this game. I mean, why add new content? Why rehire the actors when you could spend the money on a new game or KotOR 3? I think that a content patch would be a nice thing to give to devoted KotOR fans (like myself) who like the cut endings and wish they were in the game. I'm doubting that patch will have cut content and that it will just fix errors -- Obsidian is a new comapny and is probably working on a new game rather than cut content from an already existing game. I do agree that an expansion pack and content patch would be nice. I would pay $5-$10 for something extra for KotOR 2 but nothing more... (even $10 is a stretch). -
The Incomplete Endings are lame.
darth spock replied to Jedi Master Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I would enjoy Disciple dying... ^_^ being killed by DS Atton preferably... -
I see Revan as a guy for some reason... maybe infulenced by our male-dominated society or history class? I can't really say. I like my Exhile female though... LS too -- to get the scraps of the Atton romance. ^_^. (Despite there is none.) I think the guys lucked out in this game -- sparring with a 1/2 naked girl while the girls get a messed up fruit.

Okay, open up your KotOR 2 directory. I believe the default is C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Knights of the Old Republic II. (I put mine on a different drive). Anyways, once you are there, you get a list of folders such as data, Docs, launcher, StreamVoice, etc. Scroll to find the file dialog.tlk. Double click on it and your computer should send you a message saying it doesn't know what program to use to open it. You can either select to use a Web service to find a program but select your own. So select that option and open the program with Notepad. Hopefully you know what Notepad is... the program that comes with Windows that is used to type out things. There's no font changes or anything fancy like that. It's just a basic word processor. Once you've opened dialog.tlk up in Notepad, just hold down Ctrl and F and then release to get a search box. Type part of the conversation in the search box and then hit "enter". If it's a dialog, there are no spelling errors, and everything is done right, you should be warped to the conversation. It's text that's often hard to decipher who is saying what but if you remember the dialogue between the characters pretty well you should be able to understand who is saying what. Hope this helps. If it doesn't just say so and I'll try to help you out. -

Do you know the parts of the dialogue? If you do, open up dialog.tlk in NOTEPAD and hit Ctrl+F and type in that little segment of the converstaion. Hit enter and go until you find it. -
