  1. Invulnerability cheat will only make your character "God mode"...Not your NPC's. KSE is a much better utility though.
  2. When you get Mandalore...Take him to see them, he'll invite them back to Dxum to rebuild their clan & rejoin the order. Get the Mandalorians on Dantooine as well.
  3. Hmmm...I didn't find it from that salvager. I did find it in a metal box at the academy on Malachor V though!
  4. If Visas is sitting on it I'm really going to be ticked!
  5. I gives you the opportunity to go back & do something different prior to reaching the point where you are stuck....For instance, go back to an earlier save point & start the Bonus trade mission. Did you set up a trade route with the female Rodian on Nar Shaada (sp?) to Dantooine yet? If you haven't try starting that if you are playing LS...If DS chase her from the planet or something to help the Duros character...This just sets up a different scenario for you for when you are waiting for the message.
  6. Slaves encounter??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Red Eclipse! I've never found that d*mn compartment either. Can anyone screen cap where it is & post it here? I've looked on the right side high, low....I'd flip the mattress if I could, but nothing. (And the owner did tell me where it was, so I did that right...Even gave him the ship since I was playing a LS'er.
  7. Yup, disable the movies....Still quite a bit of gaming left after that. That academy is pretty big.
  8. Suprisingly I was able to beat the champ on Onderon. I was playing DS & thought I'd get some little special screne to promote General Vaklu's cause. But nope, just ended with me being made champ with track record blah blah....But the Telos track I can only get as close as runner up there. 43 something is the fastest I've been able to get. 41 seconds just seems to be beyond reaching even if the course was just a perfectly straight line with no obstacles.
  9. Probably not....sounds like you definitely have a bug issue there.
  10. Try disabling the movies until you get past that point....
  11. Hmmm....I'm glad you got it fixed...I had different color crystals in inventory when I spoke with him...When asked "What color" I had to pick from the colors I had in my inventory. I must say though...I'm really liking the different color variations that were added to this game. A silver lightsaber blade is becoming awful comfortable with me.
  12. Swoop races are loaded with bugs right now. We just have to hope the patch may address some of the issues.
  13. Try sending the error report....A real long shot is that Microsoft *MAY* tell you something of value to fix your problem. Both ATI & NVidia cards have been experiencing issues with the gameplay. I've never heard of one being blurry to the point of crashing though.
  14. I'm coming in late here I know....But do you know what fixes they are addressing with this patch? I'm guessing they're not going to be able to fix everything, but is there a site that I/we can look at to get some more info? Thanks!
  15. Yup...that's a problem. You need your main character to get to the Basilisk for the flight to Iziz. Have you tried going back to an earlier save point?
  16. It should just show up in your inventory. If it didn't, go back to an earlier save game point & try again. I haven't heard anyone else mention this as a bug.
  17. #1 reasons for these types of issues....DRIVERS... -make sure you have latest versions for video, sound, Motherboard -get the latest Direct X version. (That I think should have installed with the game if you needed it) And unfortunately you may answer, "Well I already have all the latest drivers". Then you're going to have to try an older version of the drivers. If you use Windows XP, just roll back to an older version. You don't mention anything about your system, but if you try a clean install of, specifically video drivers, make sure you remove all previous entries. Sometimes just an uninstall doesn't remove everything. Go here : http://www.driverheaven.net and look for a utility called Driver Cleaner. It removes all entries for ATI, NVidia, and other cards...Good start for you. Good Luck!
  18. You need a Telos Mining shield...that will help getting through those hot gasses. But you really need to follow & navigate with your map up in the corner. There isn't anything in the gasses to fight, you just need to get away from it fast enough so you don't "cook" yourself.
  19. Alright....what Lucas Arts has instructed you to do is essentially....stop loading items at start up. This has pros & cons to it. Some items that you turned off by removing that check mark are items that you want to start when you turn on your computer. Take for instance your mouse. I think I saw where you said you have a Logitech wireless mouse. Well, you've turned off some of it's features by removing that check. You haven't stopped the mouse from working because windows now only recognizes it as a standard PS/2 mouse. So basic drivers are all that are being used to operate it. But if your mouse has any special buttons or wheels on it, I'd be willing to bet they don't work right now. What you may want to do is go back into your msconfig>start up tab...start by one by one placing check marks into the boxes for start up. Meaning, put a check mark in...start the game & see if it works...Reboot....Go back into msconfig put a 2nd check into another start up item, try playing the game again, if things are good add more check marks....one at a time though. You want to try & find what item is causing your game to crash. When you put a check mark in a box & start the game & it crashes, then you know the last item you checked was the cause. From there you can do some research as to what you need to do to fix it. But turnig all your start up items isn't the best suggestion. Some of those items that you unchecked COULD be drivers needed for you motherboard.
  20. The console is invisible. (No lie)....So if you have cheats enabled in the KOTOR2.ini file, bring up the console as you usually would. "~" key. But you won't see anything. Just start typing the "giveitem a_robe_26" and Malaks armor will appear in your inventory.
  21. I agree! best of luck to you, I hope you can do it. It certainly sounds like you're heading in the right direction. Kind of reminds me of those creators of the "Serious Sam" games. Just a bunch of guys that came up with a concept & little by little came up with a pretty cool game.
  22. Actually, that scene takes place on Goto's Yacht. Also, there are two damaged doors in the Peragus Dormatories that will not open either, no matter what kind of mine you put there, and no matter what you bash it with or your security skill. What gives? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They both opened up for me with a sonic mine.
  23. Yeah, the ending certainly did leave a lot to desire. I think most people here will agree with that. Way to many questions left unanswered...or even answered enough that you could finish the game with a feeling of satisfaction. I'd still just like to know what happened to everyone & how the h*ll is the Ebon Hawk still flying after first crashing & becoming wedged, then later you see it drop into the depths of Malachor V.
  24. It's hard to say. But you don't want to exceed the limits of your monitor. I have a Sony SDM-S93 Flat Screen. It kind of limits me to a 1280x1024 screen resolution. And it doesn't support any refresh rates higher then 60 Hertz. If I try pushing anything any higher images start becoming distorted. For the game I'd push everything to the max & reduce from there if you need to. That's part of the fun of getting new graphics cards. Pushing them to their limit. ) Good Luck!
  25. I think there is a door at the back of one of the prison cells you might of missed.
