  1. Glad to read that Dashus is STILL committed to getting this Mod completed.... http://forums.team-gizka.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5400
  2. Try unplugging monitor 2 from your card when the game starts....then after you're up & running the game completely on monitor 1.....plug monitor 2 back in.
  3. Try cleaning your disc (Clean lint free cloth with some disc cleaner) & your cd/dvd drive (Compressed Air)......You may just have some dust that is just kicking the laser off enough to not read the initialization file correctly. If your disc is scratched you're probably going to have to get a new one.
  4. You're probably going to have to uninstall the Brianna exile Mod. Since that mod deals with aspects of the Handmaiden, & the area you are now crashing is at her intro to the game, it definitely sounds as though you are having conflicts. You might want to try contacting the creator of the mod to see if they can help you along a little further with it as well.
  5. Update your graphics drivers. The frequency range error you are seeing could also mean that your monitors refresh rate is set to high. Go into your Display Properties. (Right click on your desktop & select Properties.) On the Settings Tab you should see "Advanced"...click that & then pick the "Monitor" tab. Place a check mark in the box for Hiding refresh rates that are not supported...Then in the drop down window select one of the available frequencies.
  6. Yeah...talk to the one near the locked door. He has to call into Loopak Slusk in order to get the door to open.
  7. Are you getting the dialogue from Kreia just prior to going off to the Sith temple regarding choosing the 3 members of your party to take that mission?
  8. Check your inventory list...make sure you are not just looking at "New" items. Since you just viewed them not long ago, nothing would be showing. Look at the "All" items area.
  9. Ask & ye shall receive! *Copied & pasted from www.1up.com* "Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was a game with a few problems. Even though we're almost two full years removed from its release, there's a community so enamored by the game that they're going back and fixing those problems themselves. Team Gizka is trying to add back as many of the cut scenes and content that never made it into the final version of the game. This data was not implemented in the retail version of the game, but discovered on the disc by curious gamers at a later point in time. The "restoration team" will be putting the following into KOTOR II: the HK droid factory; more ways to murder Visas; more people wanting to stop your quest; multiple endings; and a way to end up being the last thing all of your party members see before they end up in the great beyond. While I'm sure fans of the game will love this, why should the gamers have to pick up the torch for the developers? Shouldn't they be willing to ship a complete product and not have the players be working for them?"
  10. Disciple does know the truth about Kreia....but she throws a mind trick on him & causes him to forget about it.
  11. The game doesn't always respond well to on-board graphics & sound cards. You might want to try disabling the movies to see if that helps.
  12. I use 81.98 with SLI enabled....No troubles for me....And he/she doesn't mention if they have a dual core machine.
  13. I'd verify that your monitor can handle that 75Hz frequency. (As just a guess)
  14. You could have a bad or mismatched stick of Ram. Or possibly just a memory leak. Sometimes games keep on grabbing more and more memory without releasing or reusing previously used memory....You might try looking at your game's executable in the Processes tab of Windows Task Manager while you are playing to see if its Mem Usage keeps on growing. You could also look in the Performance tab of WTM to see if CPU Usage and/or PF Usage keep growing while you are playing the game. These pesty memory errors sure can create havoc on anyones pc...Thru past experiences, I have found a quick fix for them by doing the following... 1. Have your Windows Xp CD in your Cd Drive and go to: (Assuming of course you are using Windows XP) http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html 2. The main reason for using this utility is when you suspect there may be a problem with a Windows XP system file. Perhaps you get a dialog box appear informing you of a problem with a .dll file, or your program will just not load! It is therefore worth checking to see if there are any corrupt system files using scannow sfc. To do this simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in: sfc /scannow This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem. This will fix all memory errors and hopefully, help you out. ***Copied from Tech Spot dot coms forums*** Hope some of this helps! GMan2
  15. Disable your movies & see if that helps.
