13.7 mb's???? Definitely sounds like a bad install there...My Folder is 3.60 GB's & I only have four saved games in the "Saves" folder. And my KOTOR 2 Folder is almost 2.50 GB's. So it definitely sounds as though you had incomplete installs.

Did you get the latest drivers for your video card, & did you download the patch for the game?

Cutscene Skiping on the ebon hawk
GMan2 replied to ZeroDark9's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I get a small "glitch" like you describe when I return to the Ebon Hawk, I appear in the hallway for departing the hawk by myself, the screen blacks out for a split second, then it's just back to me standing there still, if that's what you mean....but it's only a glitch as all the cutscenes have seemed to be playing correctly. -
Try running it with everything set at there lowest possible settings....Graphics 640x480...disable movies....make "basically think" that it's being played in a safe mode. If it comes up & runs then you have a video issue & probably need to update your video drivers. If also the game starts at the lowest settings, then go back and start trning things on one by one until you get the error again. (Time consuming, but it will at least tell you whats causing your system to crash) And sometimes, even for as annoying as those windows crash error messages can be.....Submit them, every once in a while they do come up with a culprit. Make sure all of your motherboard drivers are current as well as your windows critical updates. People will ask, "What the h*ll does that have to do with anything?" But sometimes they can fix the largest of errors.

Even if you are a broadband user...but I don't think this is where the problem lies for the auto updater to work....If you use cable or dsl, just disconnect the CAT 5 cable from your NIC port of your pc. Basically the same as hanging up a phone....Or you could disable the NIC under you device manager or network connections.

Same here!

It would probably be best if you just started the "Hidden Jedi Academy" over. When you enter what should happen is the Handmaidens will approach you. (All party members will still be present, which at this point should only be Kreia & Atton....Bao-Dor was knocked unconscious from the crash). You will have to (no matter what) relinquish your weapons....Now a cut scene should show where Atton & Kreia are talking to each other inside their cells....Bao-Dor (I think) will be shown still unconscious in his cell.....So Kreia & Atton do there little talk....Kreia does something to Atton, then mentions that something is about to happen....now at this point a new cut scene will be triggered showing your character walking to meet up with Attris. Then your conversation with her will take place. After this is where you can go free T3 & NPC's, or fight the Handmaidens.(This order of events is irrelevant. You can fight Handmaidens then go free your companions or vice versa)...So if any of this is different from the way things transpired with you, then your save game is corrupt & won't get you to where you need to be.

Did you flip the switch to the right side of the door?

I had that trouble....Even though I completed "GOTO's Yacht", The Hutt & Dock Master kept talking about the freighter hijackings. Finally I just kept reinitiating a conversation with the Hutt & he finally recognized that I completed the quest. It was frustrating, but it worked.

Unable to Board Ebon Hawk on Nar Shadaa
GMan2 replied to blackchess_pawn's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you got the "invitation" to meet Visqius at the Jek Jekk Tar club, then you need to do that quest. You won't be able to board the Ebon Hawk until you complete that. If you haven't received that invite....Try going back to an earlier game save & trying again. -
Yeah, it busted the bank for me....Still haven't explained to the wife how much I dropped on this thing! Glad to hear you got the problem resolved!

Does your computer meet the minimum requirements to play the game? When you click on the Scan Hardware button, what does it show you for Video? Do you have anything listed like in my screen cap? Make sure your graphics card is capable of running the game. (My suggestion)

Read the "T3 trouble on Telos" post & that has a link to a fix for your problem.

Read here, a user made an easy fix for that problem. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=34175

hehe, haha. hhahahaha force sight doesn't work for PC, wheither you activate it or not <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really??? How do you figure I came up with that response then? Cause it sure as hell works for my pc game.

A hilarious clip....Pretty large so if you're on dial up I'd leave the computer for a while. http://www.worstkind.com/Swe3_large.mov

Nope....that's a bug....Reload an earlier save game & start over.

Download a free cleaning utility called "Crap Cleaner"...The URL is www.ccleaner.com What a great little program. Cleans a huge bunch of garbage off your system in just seconds.

If I'm reading your specs correctly as listed here for the motherboard you show in your thumbnail picture, http://www.ecsusa.com/products/p4vmm2_v7.html Your motherboard only has two (total) Ram slots, which can hold 2 GB's of ram. And the fastest Ram you could put in there would be 333 mhz. (DDR). The ram you are looking at is 400 mhz. Your ram slots do have the 2.5 volts required for some DDR rams though....That's good!

For Xbox, you cast it and then press down on the right thumbstick, thought it doesn't seem to work consistently. I don't know how to use it for PC... Cloris <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (For PC) It's down at the bottom left of your screen listed with your Healing/Armor/Battle Meditation/Valor abilities....AKA Force Abilities. Just click on the up or down arrows to scroll through your choices. When Force Sight shows up just click on it. Your character will then cast it.

*Supposedly* (big word there I know)....that issue is going to be addressed in a later patch. (I hope so anyway) <_<
-
Forget fighting then....Just run off to the moon. You don't gain any Exp. points or DS/LS points. Atton just comes back after the fight scene & says, "I hate to break up your fun.......We need to land" (Something like that anyway.)

If you have a CD copying program on your system that's where your conflict is stemming from. So if you have "Clone CD" or "Nero" (some of the later versions)...That very well could be your problem.
