I guess I missed all the gameplay videos from the Torment, Wasteland, and Pillars KS. What has InXile done on Wasteland 2 or Torment so far to justify this conclusion and what would suffice to prove you wrong if that doesn't? Seems highly unfair to me.

I think BTIV will end up with a larger budget than TTON or POE just because of InXile's matching the 1.25 million dollar initial goal. But we will see. I will be interested in the stretch goals and learning more about the nuts and bolts of the game.

Nope they all had the same engine. The third one just had a few tweaks like being able to save your game and the automap feature.

Really? Wild. Since Wasteland II looked so much like The Bard's Tale back in the day I just figured their modern versions would also be similar. Eh it doesn't matter either way to me.

I think it is pretty safe to assume it will be Wasteland II with swords. No way this will be a first person game...IMO anyway. But it is InXile so I am pledging no matter what. It seems more Gaels and less Scots so the Norse influence should be profound. Granted Skara Brae does not have alot to do with any of those cultures beyond being located in the same place.

If I was in that world I would sure be convinced it was the Maker's doing. The coincidence is just too massive.

It does kind of resemble that game with the Gaels culture stuff. That kind of thing was almost entirely absent from the original trilogy that I recall.

Plenty of different conclusions because my conclusion is totally different. I thought the whole idea is you are supposed to not be sure if The Maker is behind it all or not. Sometimes they set you up to be sure one way or the other but then plant a little seed of doubt. Because you are oversensitive about this topic you take it all in one direction. You have little evidence in your support and try to weasel out of it by insisting your view is obvious so you do not have to show any evidence. I am not buying it.

Huh. Guess I never really thought about it. If I make the party it is generally roughly 50-50. It is a fantasy world so I fret about female physical strength issues about as much as I fret about my party's dental hygiene.
