Controversy in the Taekwondo!!! Sarah Stevenson of Britain lost to Zhong Chen in the quarter-final. Stevenson's final kick to the head looked to have scored two points and got her the victory, but the judges didn't see it. She went out. Then Britain appealed, and the appeal was upheld (apparently this is unprecedented). Now Stevenson is waiting to come on for her semi-final, the Chinese have re-appealed, and the crowd seems determined to keep shouting until the local favourite is reinstated.

Welcome to Kotor3: Ideas, Suggestions and Discussion part 26. The purpose of this thread is to have a place for all discussion and speculation relating to future single-player KotOR games. For any discussion about the announced LucasArts-Bioware MMO please go here. There is a lot of interest in this topic and keeping everything centralised is more useful than having multiple threads scattered throughout the forum. While I know members who've been here a long time may find this discussion a somewhat elderly and done-to-death topic, please keep in mind that there are new members arriving all of the time, and to them, this might be a new and current topic of interest that they wish to discuss. There could be fewer no-value gems in the world, I agree. Or the no-value gems could just default to a no-value gem bag and be sold en-masse. It's also the fact that everything on the inventory screen is so small, especially on high-resolution settings.

New Dragon Age discussion thread
Romances are great! Sure, make them optional, but put them in for those of us who appreciate them. Have they said what kind of modable it will be? As much as I've enjoyed all the user-created mods for NWN, I think I prefer the BG approach of modders improving and expanding the original campaign, adding NPCs, romances and subquests to that rather than creating new worlds from scratch.

I can't imagine myself playing anything that resembled MMORPGs that have existed before, but the LucasArts-Bioware website, brief as it is, puts such emphasis on Bioware's storytelling pedigree that I find myself wondering. Maybe they do have an idea of how to get good stories and characters into something like an MMORPG. If so... Nah, probably just marketing spin.

"How To" KOTOR 2 On Vista
KotOR2 doesn't really work with integrated graphics - there may be some exceptions, but a lot of people have come to these boards with integrated graphics and I don't remember them getting the game to run very often. You need to get a graphics card - these days, probably even the cheapest of budget cards will run KotOR2 successfully.

I doubt traffic as such has increased all that much, but I agree that there seem to be a lot of short tech help threads crowding out the story/character threads. If others feel the same way, we could look at possible alternative arrangements? What do you think?

Russia distributing passports in the Crimea. Only an accusation, of course, and from a source that holds no love for Russia, but is it really so hard to believe they would do the same again in Ukraine?
