  1. I e-mailed Lucasarts techsupport about this today markussun. Hopefully i was just one of many Btw, did you know that the audio in the cut-scenes were actually in 128kbit/stereo? That's a bit strange IMO.
  2. It ends there, the whole HK-factory quest was cut. For more info, go to the "Cut Ending Stuff"-thread.
  3. Both have their ups and downs, while KotOR II had better story than KotOR I, the predecessor gains from great productionvalue. So it's a tie for me.
  4. 56 hours the first time, 48 the second. I find it hard to believe that one can finish the game with most sidequests under 35 hours.

  6. It's not suprising, my girlfriend was pissed to about the only thing happened between the female PC and Atton was "Want to play pazaak?".
  7. What would be interesting is how the "True Sith" uses their lightsaber, like Tulak Hord back in the day. Maybe with a new engine we might see what the fuzz is all about.

  9. so i take it it was part of a minor quest or plot that was cut short then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One could interpret it so, i wonder why that was cut though. A small-talk after gathering the mandalorians at Dantooine and Nar Shaddaa isn't the biggest thing to implement, maybe there's more to it than i know.
  10. imo, i think this was supposed to be another minor quest that was related to mandalore, but possibly cut short due to time constraints. i found it odd that you didnt even get experience points for getting the nar shadaa and dantooine mandalorians to go to dxun, which tells me it probably was a side quest that was cut short/eliminated, but that parts of it remained in the game (much like hk-47 talking so much about the droid factory, but us never getting to see it). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you look through the soundfiles, Mandalore says something like "Now that you helped me gather my clans, i will tell the reason why" --> And he tells about Revan giving Canderous the Mandalore helmet and armor, gather the clans for a great war.

  12. I'm currently playing TSL with my nForce2 mobo + Dolby Digital 5.1 through the optical output, while the speaker seperation is excellent (duh!), the sheer quality of it is mediocre due to the MONO soundtrack. Have you got any reply from Lucasarts or Griskey yet markussun?

  14. I say it before and i say it again. Good, now as an appreciation for all those who bought it, release the cut ending. You got the money already.

  17. What's more *fun* is that all the structs are intact, even the NPC's x,y,z-coordinates and camera angles. The only thing missing is the animations really.
  18. Both soundstracks capture the Star Wars feel IMO. While K1 had several different contrasts, K2 was consistent with a dark, gloomy one. It goes down to personal guess i presume. I really liked: - Darth Sion theme (played in the menu) - The Sith Lords - Ruins of the Jedi Academy (played when you're in the re-built academy, facing the Jedi Masters) - Iziz Palace - Darth Traya theme - The Final battle The only track that was a bit out of place was Dantooine.
  19. Obsidian isn't attending this years e3 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...they aren't? Isn't that one of the only redeeming things about working in the Gaming Industry...LAN gaming aside. I mean, FFS, they're in IRVINE!!! They could DRIVE there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think there's two reasons: 1. If they're doing KotOR III, then Lucasarts will do the PR like last years e3. 2. They aren't doing KotOR III, or a new IP for that matter. And NWN2 is still too early in development to show off to the general public.

When going through some of the 904MAL.git at the modules and it seems like there are several waypoints that are NOT triggered, those are: WP_ATTON_DEAD WP_ATTON_ALIVE WP_ATTON_WALKTO_1 WP_KREIA_ATTON_1 WP_KREIA_ATTON_2 WP_KREIA_HANDISC_1 WP_KREIA_HANDISC_2 WP_KRIEA_MIRA_1 WP_KRIEA_MIRA_2 Each of these string are included with seperate structs, which includes x,y,z coordinates and orientation.   22. Are yuo sure that it was cut? It's just a small cut-scene on the Ebon Hawk.
