  1. Sorry, the only consoles that i've got connected is the Wii and the PS3. If it's released on a demo-disc for a major xbox-magazine, then i might give it a try. But ofcourse, PC would be the preferred platform of choice
  2. This inspired me to find a "This is the future of gaming"-motivator, but i can't find anyone good enough.
  3. The U.S. President has more power than one would guess (at least for the ignorant foreigner in me). It reminds me of the previous Finnish presidents, that in order to appease the Soviet union, they would sack the goverment because of not having a policy that was pro-soviet enough. New referendums were of course held, but a more Soviet-appeasing goverment was elected, since voting otherwise would be redundant. Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, things have changed, and a lot of power has been shifted from the President to the Parliament.
  4. While i don't think that Bush would actually enforce such a law, but i do find it appaling that such a law exists for future presidents.
  5. Serial Experiments Lain was one of those anime that you have to go to wikipedia after watching the show to understand the plot. It could've been pretty awesome if i would've watched before The Matrix and its bastard clones.
  6. Youngsters. Pheh! On the other hand, by dad thinks that every cartoon made after The Flintstones are rubbish.
  7. I think bands have, big bands, have smaller more professional groups of roadies these days. Rather than the medieavel (I can never spell that word) seige trains of yore. There are still several jobs out there that involve loud, heavy music for guys like him. It may be difficult, but not impossible
  8. Excellent idea! Then we can kill each other in a most brutish faschion!
  9. Yeah, I want to try it out as well.
  10. Did it ever occur to the guy, that if he loves metal that much, he could get a job as a roadie? Problem solved without any state-funding.
  11. Pidesco: You pretty much summed up everyones childhood there, atleast on the western hemisphere But you forgot two of them, this one and
  12. Oh dear. When you where 7 years old, this was the coolest ever.
  13. I like metal. Hell, 80% of my records and my iPod playlist consists of metal. Where's my money? Show me the money!
  14. Axl "friggin' Guns n' Roses" Rose
  15. This thread just erased 10 minutes of my day at work. Good stuff, keep 'em coming. Sitting around debugging code is usually pretty tiresome (60% of the time is spent on surfing the net while the software that i'm debugging is running in the background) for most of the day. Internet love is silly, but i am too old to judge on such matters (27 and living with the girlfriend since several years back). Oh and i don't love anyone here, "love" is very powerful word that should be saved for more, eh..intimate times. But i truly enjoy the conversations and debates with everyone of you
  16. Delays are usually within the spectrum of 6 months or so, but 2 years? That sounds more like a serious rework on the whole game.
  17. Still, the user knows the difference between a fantasy world and reality
  18. So, there's an authority in Britain that decides whether a perfectly healthy grownup can purchase a VIDEO-GAME or not, based on the rate of violence. A single grown-up individual can not decide for him/herself on on such matters, no. A non-elected goverment official has better judgement on such trivial matters than any other member of society, why ofcourse. [Down with] censorship. [Down with] those that blame violence on video-games, and a big "Grown up already" to anyone that supports it.
  19. Because everyone knows that Chiyo-San is to cute to be true.
  20. This bit doesn't make a whole lot of sense... You get to have a free attack that does less damage and special attacks which use action points.. That sounds a bit odd, and it can easily fail as well. But i want to see that in motion until i can throw a better judgement.
