  1. Planescape: Torment isn't the best game that i've played, since the combat had the effiency of a wombat..so to speak. But the plot, characters and setting are unmatched, no other game comes as close in terms of brilliance. Easily the best RPG though.
  2. The Cure - Disintegration (the whole album) The boys from South Park were pretty close to the truth, this album is one of the best ever made.
  3. And a video with subpar quality! Linky! Macs hate DirectX and love OpenGL. Macs are nowadays pretty powerful in terms of hardware. Carmack loves OpenGL and needs the horsepower to show off his new engine, thus a Mac
  4. From now on, i will not watch any more Bioshock videos. I want to play a game and be suprised in the near future.
  5. A Gay Bomb would actually be awesome. Think about it, no deaths and no need for the other side to shoot down their enemies since they would be too busy making love. A think about all those "ACTION NEWS! From the FRONT!"-reports: "It's everyone people! Gay- and Dykepiles as far as the eyes can see!". Mankind would never be the same.
  6. It has been reverted back to 0.7b29 now :ermm //EDIT: Nevermind, my firefox-cache seems to have gone bonkers...
  7. It's Roshan, he or she has an unhealthy relationship when it comes to NWN2. But i understand it, i've experienced the Unreal 2 and Deus Ex 2-syndrome as well.
  8. Quake II had the best graphics of any game when it came out. Unreal was a multiplayer game, wasn't it? I never played it. (Except as the engine for Deus Ex and a few others.) Unreal 1 was a singleplayer game, Unreal Tournament was a multiplayer game that came out the year after, but it had a singleplayer campaign as well. Anyway, Quake II: Unreal 1 Big difference back in 1998.
  9. ....and Unreal Tournament came out a year after Unreal 1. My point was in the context of what was out on the market at that time (May 1998).
  10. Since graphic-engines evolve as technology gets better for every 18 months, it makes it a bit difficult to judge the graphics objectively since there's always a better looking game around the corner (right now, it's Crysis). Usually, one can just judge a games graphics on the art design and what they were able to do with the engine at the time. That being said, Unreal 1 had the best graphics of its time (1998). When playing with a Voodoo 2 3D-card, nothing came close to it, no Quake 2 and certainly no Half-Life.
  11. It was all on the finnish news today about Selanne as well. Before last night he had a World Championship bronze and silver, World Cup silver and Olympic silver. Also, he's won rookie of the year award and have most goals per season in 1999. Simply put, about time the poor guy got his Stanley Cup trophy.
  12. Wow, except for seing pipboy, that was a bit underwhelming.
  13. It's available now, but i can't view it. Too much traffic (DUH!)
  14. Several thousands of people (kids?) pressing "F5" doesn't differ that much from a choir of 5000, contantly screaming "ARE WE THERE YET?!"
  15. People, people. Gameplay, combat, turnbased or realtime doesn't matter when we're talking about graphics, and action. Especially action!
  16. Since people are posting like crazy and an unknown amount is constantly pressing "F5", it is not surprising. //EDIT: Linky for the lazy
  17. Hey, one can't really complain about the artwork that they've chosen. Wasn't it the load-screen for Fallout 1 (or 2)?
  18. Yeah, i am bored at work. It's 09:00AM where i live, and i expect a release later today. Let's keep it civil people
