  1. Register to vote? What kind of red tape is that? Maybe i don't understand how the procedure of voting is in different states in the US, but shouldn't a card of identification be enough? Anyhoo, point being is that voterfraud is always possible, but electronic is still more vulnurable to tampering, and it is more expensive as well. Paper ballots still work the best for the time being.
  2. Poor taste doesn't excuse insulting my perfect sanity Only NWN 1 OC is worse than Mass Effect. Dragon Age will rule them all.
  3. Yeah, valiant warriors of truth, like me, has to step up against such vile comments from the tyranny sometimes I will not comment on Dragon Age until there's a new gameplay video released.
  4. Yeah, but a recount is still easy and possible when there's physical ballots.
  5. Oh, the documentary can be viewed at YouTube, for those who are interested.
  6. I recently watched the documentary, described in the title, and the findings were more or less appaling. Public officials and Diebold representives behaving very arrogant, and how easy it was for the finn (yay!) to hack one of their machines, only using a memory card, and no tampering was done on the voting-machine itself. More information about the famous "Hursti Hack". My thoughts? Electronic voting is expensive, unsafe for outside tampering and ultimately doesn't serve the public. Paper voting might take longer, but it costs less, and is more easier to recount and detect eventual frauds. Your thoughts?
  7. The palette is bad, everything is a shade of grey (haha), and there's little contrast. Compare it to the previous Fallouts for a reference. The difference is striking, even if the picture above is 90% brown/grey. Also, there is so much clutter that it is borderline messy, and the mutants shown are as generic as it gets.
  8. The color-palette is non-existent, and the art is dreadful. Other than that, it looks mediocre enough to keep my interest.
  9. I take it that it is a indie-project. Would be interesting if they ever manage to release a final product.
  10. 1 Major added. Good to see that their betatesters are working on all possibilities within the game.
  11. I don't have the Xbox360 connected to the 'Net, but for comparison purposes, i can try it out on the PS3 when i get home later today.
  12. Hi guys! Hi! I have gut feeling that he will love "No More Heroes" of some reason. I don't know why, but we'll see in the next upcoming weeks.
  13. You summed it up pretty nicely. However, the animations by themselves are very impressive, and if only that aspects of the engine is fully implemented in the game, then i am sold.
  14. What does this have to do with the Fox News story? I agree, the guy apologized and that's great, but the story is still hitting major news stations despite huge inaccuracies. I don't care if it's a liberal or a conservative, it's ridiculous that gaming is blamed for so many of societies woes, and it's insulting that they air these stories without a shred of evidence or research. well supposedly EA (I think) finially sent a nasty letter to Fox News requesting that Fox retract their story and state the facts. uhh... Full board post from bioboards http://masseffect.bioware.com/forums/viewt...0&forum=104 YAY.......ea? Life can be fun and full of suprises sometimes.
  15. A BLOO BLA BLOO As per the norm, Yahtzee obviously has a distaste for what he's playing, but he also has a myriad of valid and sound points to back up his foul language. In fact, dare I say that he was even more right than usual this time. Oh boo-hoo He did correctly point out the faults of The Witcher, but they never made it difficult for me to enjoy my game of the Witcher. But Yahtzee really shines in deliverence on what's wrong with any game, and that is all that matters in this review.
  16. Hah, i would've been suprised if he liked it. Then something would've been seriously wrong. The Witcher was one of the best games of 2007. That and MotB shared the award for RPG of the year at least.
  17. Speaking of SUV's. This is how i always pictured them: CANYONEROOOOOOO!
  18. To quote a friend of mine: - Nooooo, this means that there will be no "Brokeback Mountain 2: The second cumming" Anyway, it sounds bizarre that he died from "legal" drugs, considering all the other hazards moviestars encounter.
  19. Check the latest news. The HEX index and the Scandinavian index has gone down rapidly the last two days. I don't think that we're heading for another deep recession like the one in the beginning of the 90's yet, but seeing the american fed constantly lowering the interest rate just seems like a short-term solution. And the ECB, Bank of England and Bank of China are just continuing to buy more dollars to keep the currency somewhat stable, isn't a good long-term solution either. What i only see so far, is that more bandages have been added to the wound, but no measures to heal it.
  20. I think that Oscar Wilde said something in the vein of: "People judge others on matters that they hate the most about themselves" Basically, these guys are raving sodomites and they are craving to fuel their perverse fantasies They see what they want to see in Mass Effect.
  21. I certainly forgot one thing: Revan sure has an ugly set of big shoes. The mod looks otherwise fun
  22. There are still 4 unimplemented contents (out of 65 that i've counted) that are needed to be done. It is probable that they are focusing on getting them implemented before fixing the rest of the bugs.
  23. Strange fella indeed. He will be missed for his skills in chess (ignore the politics, people with absurdly high IQ tend to be a little bit excentric). Imagine, the guy who mastered a board of 64 squares, died at the age of 64.
  24. I was suprised. He even somewhat liked it.
