  1. Hipsters are worse than than Xbox-jocks, PC-elitists and Zuners though.
  2. One of the best comic book movies ever made, since it simply deconstructs the genre entirely. I liked it so much that i even changed my avatar to the Comedian.
  3. Excellent!
  4. Kick-Ass. I thought that it was just supposed to be a movie about a estranged teenager with nothing to do other than trying to be a small time hero. Boy, was i surprised. Highly recommended. Un Proph
  5. heathen: i tried translate.google.com as well, but that thing translates very poorly. That's why i asked about someone translating it.
  6. Could someone translate it? Please?
  7. Cycleman: But was the white flag raised before the boarding? Nemo071: 1) But are not Hamas the authoritive figure, representing the local government of Gaza? If that doesn't represent as a soverign, then what is Gaza? 2) If you raise the white flag to the other party, then you are submitting yourself to complete surrender. Raising a white flag and then attacking is a warcrime.
  8. Apparantly, the guy also killed his own twin brother Sounds like a complete mental meltdown of catastrophic proportions. A sad day in Britain indeed.
  9. Yes, Britain would be in the wrong. IIRC the only legal reason to board a ship in international waters is if it is believed to be a pirate ship. Ok, and i take it that you mean morally and politically. But there is the tricky part that i am still searching for. Israel claims to be at war with Hamas, and this is were things get difficult, since the rules of conduct change when you have warring states. Btw, does anyone know if the turkish ship was waving a white flag or not? I have only seen videos of with the turkish flag raised, but not the white flag.
  10. The game pretty much sounded very underwhelming, considering the development time.
  11. You didn't answer my question.
  12. I attended an AC/DC-concert yesterday. Those guys have much better stamina and endurance than most teenage kids today have.
  13. Ah, I see. Food aid for the people of Palestine is an act of war and gives Israel the right to board a humanitarian vessel in international waters and then shoot its occupants. - Their motive was a direct political action against the embargo. Otherwise they would've docked in Achdod, gotten the cargo inspected, gotten a clearance and delivered their goods. - They weren't suddenly attacked. Apparantly, the IDF sent them several messages to turn back or to the port of Ashdod. They refused. - Their goal is to have allow the free flow of capital and people to the Gaza strip, without giving any guarantee to Israel that weapons will be shipped now and in the future. - Egypt also has a naval blockade to Gaza, why didn't they go there? Can someone answer me this: is it forbidden for nations to cease and desist vessels at sea(international waters) that are under suspicious activity that would threaten national soverignity? For example, a french boat going to britain. The british deem the vessel to be suspicious of carring illegal stuff such as weapons and whatnot. The crew makes it known that it will soon enter british territorial waters and will refuse to cooperate with the british. The british will therefore attempt to hijack the boat at international waters before it enters britain. Fights ensue and people die. Is britain to blame here?
  14. I don't think anyone has claimed they didn't defend themselves when the soldiers boarded their ships? Notice though, they are very careful to not show any shooting. So how did nine people die then? Editing to only show the opponents worst sides is making that video pretty useless as "evidence" or whatever it's supposed to be. Personally, I would much rather be tossed from a ship than shot dead by firearms. Maybe it happened inside the ship?
  15. I guess that they(commandos) were surprised that people were trying to attack commandos with pipes, axes and whatnot. Didn't the boarding of the other ships go smoothly?
  16. So it'd be OK if the police in America opened live fire on, say, tea party protesters who hurled rocks or tried to take their guns right? An eye for an eye is neoconservative policy these days, right mate? if the tea party protesters were attacking the police with knives and metal bars, we would expect the police to respond with deadly force. Don't be a ****, you'd expect them to use tasers and tear gas. Duuuuuude, they sent in the military. I do not think that Israel, or any other country, has a "tear gas and taser"-battalion, maybe you meant that they should've sent the Police? I do not see the activists as peaceful people that only wanted to give the people in Gaza foods and clothing. They stated themselves that it was a direct political act to try to end the embargo. Well, direct confrontation doesn't exactly sound like the tenets of pacifism, does it? "Just let them through" some might say. Maybe these vessels didn't have weapons, but what about the next shipment? What guarantee does Israel have? How would they know now and for future reference that the shipments are only food and not armaments? What i do not understand yet is that Israel claims that it happened in a security buffer zone that they have set up? Was that illegitimate? Don't other countries set similar ones all the time?
  17. He is a staunch supporter of Hamas though
  18. He will just get more fuel to the fire then. The guy is kinda weird though, some sort of maoist that has become rich from his novels, and married to Bergman's daughter to boot. I call him and his ilk softcore-communists, all complaining about capitalism while sitting in a fancy cafeteria with their fat wallets. Of course that's no excuse for him getting shot. It wouldn't call it ironic, but at least a weird stroke of fate.
  19. A couple of questions: 1) How do we know that it was in international waters? 2) Why would a group of highly trained marines open fire on one ship and start killing in cold blood? If i read this correctly, no one was hurt on the other ships.
  20. Eventhough that i might disagree with the guy, i really like reading Roshambo's rants. Hopefully he will do a review of AP soon.
  21. I love the storyline, Conversation system, Shooting mechanics, environments, story so far, character development. Which just happens to be the elements that i prioritize + a good soundtrack. I do not care much about the A.I., cover, hacking or graphics for that matter.
  22. Based on media reaction and personal reviews, this game seems to be another Bloodlines: Flawed as hell, but several redeeming features. We'll see if i like it.
  23. - "What?! Again?!! And what are you doing with that miners helmet on your head?" - "Sorry babe. Bureau initiative"
