In order to make it easier for everyone, lets just call it "American Football" and "World Football". The only ones who do not understand the difference will be considered as twits. I predict that the final score for the England-Germany game will be either 0-0 or 1-1, where the germans later win on the penalty-shootouts. Also, I heard this on the Radio:
  2. Please change Geralt's face. He looks now like an Hollywood action-hero.

You received KM instruction in the army? Wow. Anyway, KM stuff is kinda nasty so I've actually been told that you're better off not doing some things outside of a wartime situation, which I'm not going to find myself in anytime soon. IMO it's just not worth landing your ass in jail and paying an arm and a leg for damages just to teach some punk a lesson. Depending on the law of your country, YMMV though. Hapkido has some useful stuff too. It was just the basics. Pretty on how to deal the deathblow as fast as possible on dummies, there was no training on real people I made a reference to him serving in the navy at nuclear submarine. I removed the reference after finding out.

Well, compared to the French, the Greeks actually played football and wanted to win.

Who here actually has any military training? And i mean in terms of marine or infantry, so naval training at a submarine doesn't count. I am just curious, based on the arguments that i've read in this thread about what kind of code of conduct the israeli commandos should have. I, for one, have had it. Who else? (Krav Maga was actually fun practice) //EDIT: Just realised that Visceris was dead, my bad
  6. I do not think that the "twist" was really the major point of the movie. It was more character driven with a whole lot of nice allegories(The chief warden anyone?)

...and Spain lost as well. The only "big" team that hasn't underperformed so far is Germany.
  8. I suddenly do not care about 3D anymore.
  9. I still do not understand how they are achieving 3D without glasses.
  10. Eeeeh, i'll pass then.
  11. When's the Sony conference?

Reuters should seriously check their photographers' political agenda before giving them work. This isn't the first time either, remember what happened during the latest raid for Hezbollah in Lebanon?

Bear in mind that the camera thought that the date was 2006. What if the date was never set in it?

Messi seems to have lost the capability to deliver when it matters.

Dempsey and Donovan could, if the english are too bored to do anything, carry the US to victory tonight.

    Thank god for the mute-button.
  18. Disclaimer : I'm as far from a shooter enthusiast as you can get. Art style looks pretty good. Everything else looked pretty boring, honestly. Here i thought that a game called Bodycount would be an adventure game about a pathologist or mortician, counting bodies Meh, meh, meh.

Ah, a good 'ole game of football, featuring The Empire against The Colonies. I will definately watch that one.
  20. If the film's good enough, you sort of don't notice them, just read them by default. Nikita is a good example. All the same I thought it was best to mention it, for some subs are a dealbreaker and I didn't want to waste their time. My wife has a learning disability, and reading subtitles fast is just extremely difficult for her. So there are legitimate reasons why some people avoid them. This is the first time that i heard about that. But i come from a country where you learn to read subtitles from the moment you start to watch cartoons. Shouldn't it be possible to overcome something like that with some training? Pretty awesome. I haven't heard of anyone not liking it yet.
  21. I think i know a plausible reason. Some of the commandos ****ed up and got momentarily captured and even seriously injured, which could be considered as demoralising for the IDF. Prove me wrong fellas.
  22. I just had to look it up at imdb. Sounds like a good summer-fun movie.
