Morality is judged according to three virtues: Conscience, Self-Control and Courage or Conviction, Instinct, and Courage (all vampires have courage). The former three are basically attempting to follow the path of Humanity, while the second tends to be the philosophy of the Sabbat, a rival vampire congregation that desires power to do as they will, regardless of the consequences. Most Kindred (vampires) follow Humanity and to at least some degree mimic human behavior. There is no immediate transition from mortal ethos to undead killer. It does almost invariably occur over time, however.

I see a large problem with the senator suggestion: Senators are elected officials. Revan recently led a large evil fleet to conquer the galaxy, destroying many planets and killing thousands in the process. Even the fans he gained by defeating the Mandalorians would be loath to welcome him back with open arms.

I can think of two clans that would suit you. If you wanted to play up the self-disgust angle, the Nosferatu might fit your character. They are twisted and deformed by the embrace, becoming hideously ugly. Most live in sewers and the like. There are also the Gangrel, an animalistic group close to nature. They have the ability to shift shape and are almost exclusively good with animals. Most are chosen for Embrace, due to their loner tendencies.

Does anyone besides me ever feel the need to rid the world of idiots, preferably through humane sterilization of the criminal and mentally challenged community? I do not challenge their right to live, nor even their ability to have sex, simply the right to procreation that may negatively affect human normalities of behavior and intellect. Over time, most genes that cause such behavior (it is at least in part due to genetics) would be eradicated from the population, without detrimentally affecting diversity. And with individuals of such genetic predispositions gone environment would be more conducive to a contributing and conscientious society. Either that or a nanobot plague.

I remember recently having seen a show of some sort (perhaps Law & Order) in which derogatory names for various social groups were used as explanations of a crime or some such. The only one not said was "the n word." All others somehow got past the censors, including names for Jews, Latinos, Muslims, etc. I find such a dichotomy strange and somewhat offensive. Yes, some groups have suffered more than others (at least in this country), yet racism is bad in general, and mistreatment of one ethnicity should not outweigh abuse of another.
