Meta, where are you in SS2? I just got to the 4th deck .
-
A question: What channel are you in? I was under the impression we met in #vamprpg on the irc.psionics.net server. I am there presently and no one else is.
-
I will be there. I just fixed my internet connection after a few hours of downtime, but I will definitely be there.

Well, we still require another player. Ill ask if anyone wants to join in the other Diplomacy threads, but barring that, we might have to play a 6 player variant, though I would prefer not to do so. -
He clearly intended that denotation, though I did not note the error, as it was too obvious to mention.

Since when are we communal Siamese nonuplets?

If I remember correctly that is the show where an alien invasion kills a woman and frames her husband for the murder. The husband named Foster something, escapes from an alien holding facility, and starts a one-man crusade against the aliens, using the prophecies of Nostradamus as his guide. I seem to recall having seen a few eps. Not the original name for France, Flatus. The word meaning 'nerve'. As in: I have the nerve to correct you.

Looking back over the first post, I have detected an error. My char's name is Aleksandr Torne, not Thorne. Correct this at your discretion. Thanks.

Yet again, I have overreacted. I did not view this game as seriously as my last post may have implied. I tend towards the dramatic, in situations such as this. Though, now that I think about, it isnt all that unusual that I have a minor complex concerning perceived slights considering the relationship I have with my father. Also, on a somewhat tangential note, I think I have discovered why I am agnostic. Ive been reading up on Freud and Jung lately for a research paper and I read something that made a great deal of sense to me. According to Freud, God is a totemic representation of the father's exaggerated worth in an attempt to detract from the guilt the son(s) have for killing their father to gain power in prehistoric times. Therefore, the relationship between a person and God often parallels that between themselves and their father. I have a terrible relationship with my father, i.e. I have a terrible relationship with God. -

Though it probably will not matter to most of you, and will do little to nothing to regain my status, I felt I must make something clear. I did try to continue, in fact, I planned on it. I had numerous conversations with various countries, including as you should all know thanks to a certain someone's post, Germany. Frankly, it is the not the fact that I would have soon been eliminated that caused me to withdraw from the game. It was the complete lack of decorum and general decency on the part of several players: some who made jokes at my misfortune, knowing full well I could do nothing to prevent them from exacerbating it and others who found such treatment amusing and decided to share it with everyone. In the end, however, despite any motives or reasons to the contrary, I am responsible for my own actions and, in this instance, I have disappointed myself and others. I apologize and hope this will not be held against me in future occurrences. -

You forget, however, that even if I were to gain an Iberian Supply Center, I would have only two, as France controls London and Germany will soon have Edinburgh. As I already have two units, I will be unable to build anything this winter. In the worst possible scenario, I do not gain a new Supply Center and must disband a unit, leaving me with one and absolutely no chance to gain another. -

That's it. Im out. I was going to give it a chance, but if my strategies are going to be posted for all to see, thereby providing an unseemly advantage to all others, there is no reason for my continued participation. From now on consider England neutral territory. -
I have an elaborate backstory worked out; it simply behooves me to transform it into words. Especially if we get 5 freebie points. (w00t) Edit: Pixies, the backstory is purely for the ST's and your own benefit. It is not shared with the other members, unless you want it to be. Having a defined history allows you to better understand your character and his motivations, as well as giving the ST (Storyteller, same as GM or DM for other systems) possible plot hooks to work into the chronicle.

Did you intentionally misconstrue Numbers statement or are you just one of those who fails to read and/or think before responding?

Ditto. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ditto again. I should probably get writing a background for my character then, as well as a portrait. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think this might be a misunderstanding. We get 5 points for backgrounds, perhaps this is to what he refers? If we do get 5 extra freebies for a good background story, I expect Ender will clarify it later tonight.

Very well. Just imagine him with longish dark red hair and gray eyes.
-
These were the best I could find. Neither is exactly right. Alek has fashion sense similar to the first picture (though without the horrid scarf) and face and hair like that of the second picture, however his (Alek's) eyes are gray.

When does Winter end? -
I made another one: Guess who it is. Here's a clue: He is a famous musician after a long day at work.
-
Not exactly. Its more of an evolution sim, first physical, then societal and technological.

And your opinion?
