Baley 1
Woah, new map. Isn't there one that spells Romania right?
JediConsular7 0
What is it with you and Romania? I know they have hot women with wierd accents but still....I hope you actually get it just so we can swipe Romania or Rumania off the board!
Baley 1
Romanian women aren't all that hot,I should know, being Romanian and all. Well,Lady Darkside I wish you good luck in your upcoming game. May spam guide your path. Good luck to you all. *resumes thread lurking*
Reveilled 0
Woah, new map. Isn't there one that spells Romania right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, at the time the game was set, and probably at the time when the game was fist published, it was spelled Rumania in English. In any case, the u spelling makes it easier to remember the notation for Rome and Romania. Look at it this way: Only one letter is out of place for Rumania. The spelling mistakes in calling Britain England, or calling the Ottoman Empire Turkey are far greater! Every letter is wrong! Oh, and Mets, will people contacting you through the email button give you their email addresses? Quote Hawk! Eggplant! AWAKEN!
Baley 1
Yeah,I know. Anyway,I wish you all good luck and patience, you're gonna need it. Oh and read the manual,I think it helps,I of course don't waste time with trivial things like that.

alanschu 1,238
I didn't really follow the last thread, but a turn by turn recap for spectators would be cool (for me anyways). I can post an EoT summary, with the map, for the spectators. (As to the diplomacy, that will have to be duessed at and spun out ...) alanschu 1,238
Of course. We'll be like the spectators from Asia and the Americas looking in and wondering WTF is happening Saying "England is pretending to help France, but is really trying to fuxx0r them in the end" might be a bit much. metadigital 1
Have the players picked countries yet? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have everyone's list except Aishur's, and that's because he hasn't signed on in the last 12 hours. I have left him a message. I guess the timing of rounds will be similar to the first game, as it is more down to a matter of availability to access the game: some people might only (average) once/one-and-a-half-times a week (over the period of the entire game), so that limits how fsat the turns can take. This is because there must be a set deadline for each turn, so that orders can be sent, resent and negotiations can take place right up to the deadline (which is when most negotiations IRL take place, too). It might be a good idea for everyone to nominate how quickly they would like the game to proceed; if everyone is happy for rounds to be adjuducated faster than one a week, then we might be able to accommodate that. Let me know (secret ballot = email me). Quote OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
EnderAndrew 0
I don't want to fill this thread with off-topic spam and all, but my advice to the players is to get your stuff in early. If all the players are done, turns can end early and gameplay can move. Waiting 4 days for nothing isn't fun.

alanschu 1,238
I no longer judge threads by forum titles very often...as most threads tend to (d)evolve into something else.
