The so-called War on Terror was a very different animal compared with specific actual wars, like Afghanistan or Iraq. And just like with those wars so too in any Ukraine scenario, several NATO countries will send a handful of troops or a couple of fighter jets, completely symbolic and tactcally useless but where they can then pat themselves on the back and claim that they contributed.

On a similar note, I want an elevator so bad. Been dreaming of that since early access for the first game. We’d have to build the elevator shaft and that would be what increases/limits how high the elevator can go. It would need to have an old-school manual lever elevator to make it go up and down as there’s no telling how players would set up their floors/stops. I would want two sizes; a fairly small elevator that’s literally just meant to move your character up and down and then a large one meant to hold a couple pallets.

Did you read my previous post? Driver 577.00 is stable with Grounded 2. I dont think the issue is with your GPU unless you see/smell smoke and the temps are too high. Many UE5 games are not optimized correctly with Nvidia GPU's for some reason. Email your crashes to driverfeedback@nvidia.com along with the crash dump file. So, like, watched the new Fantastic 4 film. It's your average, run-off-the-mill Marvel film. A fun first hour where everything gets established and a less fun final hour of really schlocky superhero battles including your average sky beams, although it was the good guy's skybeams this time around. There's one pretty bad thing: The moral dilemma. Almost made me barf. There are better Marvel films. Much worse ones too. -

Three grocery companies have 90% market share? Absolutely jealous. And don't get me started on the number of NZ products- like cow juice, sold via a monopoly because obviously that's the best way to get competition per the free marketers in the government- that manage to toodle literally half way around the world to be sold cheaper than here. Two supermarket companies have 95% market share here. It's- apparently- an absolute mystery to NZ's politicians why there is not competition between those two and they make $1 million per day in excess profits. They talk a lot about breaking up the duopoly, but never do anything. They've quite literally talked about it and given their buddies high paid consulting jobs on panels for twenty years when the solution is trivial- demerge. And debundle distribution while you're at it. That latter because, aside from the monopoly cow juice supply, NZ supermarkets absolutely fleece suppliers as well as consumers, because your options are sell to them at the price they dictate- or watch your crops rot for nothing. -

Dear All, I was wondering if anyone else plays Grounded 2 (G2) on Xbox with Mouse and Keyboard (M/K). When G2 was released, I couldn't play M/K so had to settle for controller. On Aug 10th, I was able to play with M/K and created a new game save noting that fact. Shortly thereafter, the ability to play with M/K disappeared. I'm currently playing on latest release (0.1.2.1 Rel 1964992). I play Solo,. currently either normal/medium play or (preferably) WOAH. But my issue starts before that. Upon loading up G2 (cloud play), if my controlles switched off,.. it informs me I need a controller to play, and to press 'A' on the controller. Usually, I would press 'esc' key on the keyboard which cancels that request and it continues to load up the game,.. but mouse and keyboard still dont function. NOTE - Works fine with Grounded 1. I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.

Plenty of our real estate "investors" and "developers" who kept buying houses and apartments with those great (almost) 0% loans are going bankrupt at the moment. They also can't really pawn off their "investments" because they largely consist of large housing areas build mainly to invest in, and all the apartments in them have terrible room layouts no one wants or even can live in, as they were just built to be pawned off to investors who in turn would sell them for a 50%+ ROI five years later. Then the unthinkable happened, the ECB increased interest rates, and what was even worse, our government introduced a loan limit for banks: Private households' monthly loan installments must not exceed 40% of their income in order to put a curb on the rising private bankruptcies. Because all those great variable interest rate loans they took out suddenly went from 0.7% interest rate to 4+% and monthly installments exploded putting middle class families in financial duress (which in turn combined with rising prices due to greedflation is currently causing our economy to be stuck, who would have throught). Private demand is down and companies are sitting on massive amounts of debt they can't clear without the fake income of rising real estate prices. Housing prices are pretty much stuck because selling for less is not an option, and no one's buying. It is especially satisfying to watch because all these investors and companies paid donated millions to our conservative parties who made sure that nothing was done against the energy and supply chain inflationary shock of 2022. The conservatives let the energy companies (who they all have a stake in, mind) run rampant with their merit order inflated prices, causing a feedback loop of increased rents (now if that makes no logical sense for you, dear reader, then keep in mind that our rent prices are by far and large linked to inflation, i.e. if the average statistical inflation of a year is 10%, then rent prices will automatically be increased by 10%, and no, that makes very little sense and is just kept up by the conservatives because many of them are on the payroll of receiving donations by people growing even richer from increased rent prices) and increased labor costs, which in turn now means that while everyone else in the Euro-Zone is sitting at the target 2% inflation rate, we're still stuck with 3+%. Energy and housing is sucking up free income because there's no alternative, and groceries are incredibly expensive because three companies have 90% market share. There are goods available in literally the same store brand in Germany and only a handful of kilometers away for a 50% premium in Austria. Products actually manufactured in Austria, mind you - if that can be sold for a profit for 50% less in Germany where the income levels are very similar (if not actually better in the low income brackets that supermarket employees usually are in), then it certainly can be sold for a profit at the same price in Austria. What are you going to argue with? Transportation costs across the border (wait, that would make the product more expensive in the country exported to, huh...)? Can't be labor costs. Right, got it, it's greed. The regulartory body supposed to prevent the formation of cartels and oligopolies keeps saying they can't find any proof of price fixing between the large players. Not sure what sort of proof they're looking for to be honest. Transcripts of phone calls or e-mails going back and forth discussing how to best price gouge? Meanwhile the government has no idea why the right wing extremists are rising to power. Between living expenses exploding and the 2015 influx of culturally hard to intergrate people from certain areas of the world it makes me wonder: Are politicians in this day and age really that dumb, can't they really not see the forest for the trees or are they all just corrupt asshats best put under the guillotine's blade? Not that being dumb and a corrupt asshat is mutually exclusive, one just needs to look at the Orange Sex Offender. -
I’m running into the same issue right after the loading screen. I even sent my GPU to ASUS because I was having crashes in Dune Awakening, along with fatal errors in Expedition 33 and Oblivion. ASUS replaced a capacitor and updated the VBIOS to the latest firmware. That solved the crashes in Dune Awakening (Normal Crash), but Expedition 33 and Oblivion are still giving me fatal errors (The only games that gives me fatal error). It seems like the problem only happens with Unreal Engine 5 games. The strange part is that other UE5 titles, like Marvel Rivals, work perfectly fine. Now I’ve got another issue on top of that: Grounded 2. It’s frustrating because I just finished 100%ing Grounded 1 yesterday and was excited to jump straight into the sequel. Instead, Grounded 2 keeps throwing the error below. I’ve tried both the Game Pass PC version and the Steam version, but no luck. I also tried everything I could/suggestions and still no luck GPU Crash dump Triggered Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping Grounded2_WinGDK_Shipping kernel32 ntdll My PC specs are CPU: Intel Ultra 9 285k Ram: 64gig GPU: Asus ROG 5090 MotherBoard: ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO Bios: 2006

I have a couple videos of weirdness too. 1. I had a stack of grass planks on the ground (20ish?) and my ant buddy couldn't drop any more. It would immediately disappear and then the inventory would go back to full (12). I had to move away from the pile before it would let me drop any. 2. Pebblet foundation pack I purchased and then at some point (not sure if a crash happened in between or not) it just showed up again in the store. Even though it's still available on my crafting wheel and I have some in my base. 3. I've seen multiple critters stuck inside geometry (usually large creatures and large rocks). And one butterfly stuck in the air unable to move. I used it to cheese an Orb Weaver, which backfired because it dropped my arrows inside the rock when it died. 4. At sunset the volumetric lighting is broken. Everywhere you look is the same silhouette effect in all directions around you.

Hi Im someone who has played Grounded 1 and I love the game. Currently my friends and I are waiting until ziplines come out and then we will buy in and play as well. I have some ideas until then though. Others may have possibly voiced these ideas but I wanted to state. For the community Garden in Grounded 2, I would love to see seasonal plants come through at different seasons and limited time plants for community events. Seasonal examples: Summer - watermelon and chili peppers. Fall - Jack-o-lanterns and corn Winter - maple tree sprouts and pine tree sprouts and also mint leaves. Spring - exotic flowers and strawberry bushes. So we always have access to whats come out how about a greenhouse thats tall and takes up a quarter of that area where seasonal plants are left and we can find a couple out of season? It gives more incentive to be on during seasons to get new plant types or more of a plant type so it does not take forever to get a resource. Also I get the point of buggys and I am eager to eventually try them and I get why you wanted to hold off on putting out Ziplines as you want people to actually try the buggies. Perhaps fast travel to a few places once discovered may be good. Perhaps by a hose flush system. Only it can be dangerous and you have to find gasoline to run the motor to keep it going? Making buggies or ziplines an easier choice but if you need to zip somewhere very fast you can. Or a teleporter but you only have 1 use per person a day making it not ideal to other options. Also opening up more materials to build with and different designs? I know you dont like the idea of peoplr building in boss lairs but if we could eventually work on a special material that is not easy to make with a chance of failure, cannot be duplicated that we can place in boss areas? Basically earning the right to alter boss areas but its so tedious most people wont? That way your not saying no your just discouraging it? Also the boss might still accidently destroy the structure? How about an underground biome that is part of a basement storage closet? How about being able to go to a house next to the park eventually that reminds us of the old one but isnt? Last but not least, a lot of games have the ability to take an armor set and place that armor sets looks over what they are currently wearing? World of Warcraft calls it "Transmog". Then you could eventually sell extra armor skins for various armors for extra $$$. Not pay to play but hey would you like neater looking ladybug armor? Thats a whole thing right there.

Right on schedule, crash number 4. Was just sitting around in my base but he snack bar ranger station (same spot as the first two crashes and where the save thumbnail is corrupt) and was in the crafting menu (not in a workbench)

C1ockvvorksound started following Flying Buggy?
-
A flying buggy like a bumblebee or wasp would be super fun and would make exploring/building super interesting! Probably would be more fun as a late game creature or something to avoid story skips. Idk, ever since the buggys were introduced me and my family have been talking about how cool it would be to have a flying friend

I'd love to see some sort of weather system that affects your cold and hot and some flooding like the tipped ice cream cart. I would also love to see using butterfly wings as some sort of glider.

My Weapon and Shield Disappeared!?
Kirk Morgan replied to Dixon's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Help I lost my spicy Coaltana it is still on my hot pouch with 0 available but it is gone I have went and retraced my steps tried loading old saves and nothing if it was a weapon I could remake it would be no big deal but the spicy globs are gone now also -
I normally don't care at all about game cosmetics, the last time I spent anything on a gotta-have outfit in a game was with Overwatch, dropping a few bucks for the Philadelphia Fusion skin for Reinhardt circa like 2018. But I named my mount General Ulysses S. GrAnt, and so I would like him to have a Civil War-era Hardee hat. I would also like him to have a cigar he can chomp on, squint into the distance, and growl out "war never changes" in jaded gravel-voice before we charge off to go fight spiders, but I'd settle for just the hat. Thank you for reading, I made an Obsidian account to post this request.

Make it mid to late game so you don’t progress too quickly by gliding to to places you aren’t meant to access yet
