  2. I think i have become a full hater. I just cannot get into outer worlds 2. I think its a me problem because I enjoyed the first one. If I had to justify it. I do not like when games throw you right into the world with no buildup. New Vegas you start in a small unimportant town. You wake up and talk to people in the town and you hear about the factions and political climate. Pillars your caravan gets attacked and you make your way to a small town. You get eased into the world. In outer worlds two you are an agent and you go on a mission. Thing happens. You are thrust into the world and factions with no time to ease into the world. Even the first outer worlds eased you into the world. You dealt with a minor dispute before seeing the wider picture. I probably will start to enjoy it eventually but it feels like too much too fast. I have a hard time caring about anything going on because it's thrown at you so quickly. Combat is good. Graphics are good.

  5. apologies for the double, but we shouldn't make anybody suffer another response about trump's bs regarding his 2018 MoCA. the atlantic article is behind a paywall, but am seeing there is a 49 minute interview wherein the author discusses the relevant subject matter. were posted today. have not watched the interview, but since am having read the article, am admitted curious to hear what mr. kahloon has to say. am thinking the linked tweet is enough to trigger a couple people, but in any event, we found the take to be thought provoking. @Hurlshot and @Amentep is the individuals who most frequent express strong opinions about the US educational system, but is noteworthy that kahloon also speaks to a few european trends by way o' contrast, but more surprising as similarity o' problems. as an aside, am gonna admit that post retirement am actual less involved in volunteering at local schools than when we were gainful employed. the reason we pulled back is 'cause we noticed a trend o' teachers becoming more hesitant and reluctant to correct bad personal and educational habits. if a student weren't doing assignments, then it were the fault o' the teacher for offering too much homework or for failing to make assignments students wanted to complete. bullying and obnoxious students has always been a thing, 'cause kids are obnoxious and bullying is human nature that must needs be taught is wrong, but we were disappointed by how what we saw as bad behaviour were becoming normalized too frequent. our problem with kids these days were actual an issue with teachers and administrators, 'cause am not thinking the kids changed for reals. nevertheless, we were discouraged enough by the prospect o' going full grumpy old man, so am now only volunteering at the mustard seed school in sacramento, but 'cause o' issues, the drive is a bit difficult for us to manage regular. HA! Good Fun!
  6. Thankfully the GOG sometimes put Paradox games into Newsletter discount. I got the whole package including Sprites for 9.98EUR this way. DLC was 90% off for 1.99, sprite pack for 2.99 and the game for 5. It was in 2022 though. I do not remember seeing this deal in the newsletter again, though.
  7. That's interesting. My complain was how missing was very rare due to Larian's tinkering with values and abundant source of guaranteed damage. I do have major gripe with some UI choices, mainly hotbar which I found to be frustratingly maintenance heavy. I avoided having druids because of that, as doing wildshape would completely wreck my hotbar after switching back to human form. I will do another playthrough using hardest setting at some point, but just too many other things to play meantime. Speaking of which I got distracted from Outer Worlds2 by Alters. Gave it a go maybe two evening ago and it got my full attention now. Oh, finished Hades2. It's like the first one, with slightly better gameplay, much worse narrative, much more content, and even more grind. I didn't care for it.
  8. eat a bowl of warm **** @okkes i'm excited about the game. this is my favorite game and they're putting out a huge update on it almost a decade later b/c obsidian is the best studio in the world. i will be as hyped as i want FART FACE get in here @MaxQuestget in here @thelee everybody we are so back!!! PILLARS 1 TURN BASED BETA NOVEMBER 5TH
  9. Hi dev team, First of all, thank you for Outer Worlds 2 – I’m really enjoying the game overall. I wanted to report an accessibility issue with the “Run and Hitter” perk. The visual effect that appears when this perk is active (the screen blur shaken effect) makes me feel very uncomfortable and motion-sick. Would it be possible to add an option in the settings to Disable the visual effect for this perk. I know not everyone is affected, but for players sensitive to motion or visual effects, this would make a huge difference and let us keep using the perk without feeling sick. Thanks a lot for reading and for considering this!
  10. the fact you offered the same non-response twice does not double its value. just an fyi. as to why any reasonable person would be curious about why the President were given the MoCA following an event in which he displayed possible neurological symptoms is hardly a mystery and we don't need some kinda proof o' degeneration to explain to any honest person. the wh team doctors and a dozen specialists did a battery o' tests in response to an event which startled americans but looks positive banal by trump's 2025 standards. is also more than a few psychiatrists who based on a considerable volume o' observable trump behavior has also expressed concerns... we linked one such but it is hardly an outlier. describing trump symptoms as pathognomonic and comparing to recent and past footage makes Gromnir ask reasonable questions. 'tween genuine expert concerns, coupled with trump lies, we got a choice to either accept zor's self-serving and misleading conclusions based on his flawed description o' tests and conditions (have already pointed out the mischaracterization o' the MoCA and the degenerative aspects of dementia via links to reputable sources,) or we could admit we still don't know just how mental fit is trump or why he were given the original MoCA. am asking the question 'cause is more relevant today than were the case in 2018 when an episode led to a team o' experts testing trump. am also asking the question, 'cause while zor medical observations about the possibility o' trump's mental fitness is quaint, they run up against actual psychiatrist and neurologist opinions, real experts who has genuine concerns. 'am also asking questions 'cause trump lies, so is near impossible to provide conclusive medical proof; nobody save trump and his doctors has access to his medical records and test results. unlike tucker or zor just asking questions about seth rich, there is no way get essential information about the President's condition. one-uping biden were never a convincing answer to the question, in spite o' fact that were one proffer. taking what came straight from the horse's mouth in the absence o' concrete evidence were also hardly a reasonable answer to the question. no. as noted, for all we know, the test were administered 'cause the doctors believed he had suffered a stroke, TIA or even some other event (again, am not the one pretending expertise an misrepresenting the MoCA and dementia which has necessitated us linking actual sources on multiple occasions) which could have had a very limited impact or duration. however, am recognizing that the explanation offered by trump and his doctors were not convincing at the time. heck, trump, following the recent media focus on his hand bruising and cankles, finally admitted to chronic venous insufficiency. again, whether trump has clinical dementia at this time is largely immaterial in our estimation. trump has lied about his medical issues near as many times as zor has done the whatabout and strawman schtick; is difficult to keep an accurate count. we don't know answers and so like everybody else, we ask the question knowing we will never get definitive proof. lord knows am not taking zor's medical conclusions as particular compelling and your efforts at logic is... amusing. willing following zor down rabbit holes is exhausting and stoopid, so am not able to blame anybody save our self. nevertheless, am always shocked by your endurance in the face o' pointlessness. congratulations? HA! Good Fun!

  12. On Xbox PC store version the "Go Out With A Bang" achievement will not pop for me, even killed 7 enemies with one shot and still nothing, also completed the whole Auntie's Choice and Order quest lines but no faction achievement's have popped. "AC: All Complete" and "OA: Objectives Accomplished"
  13. Just a heads up. I believe there is a problem with the trophies/achievements associated with the Spectrum Dance Sabre and the Armageddon. It seems as if its no longer registering kills towards the trophies with these weapons. I'm stuck at six kills each and I've killed many more enemies with each weapon but the trophies have not popped.
  14. Didn't he for real have the dementia walk.
  15. Wanted to add image. Tried crouch, sprint, jumping and even waiting (stopped after 10 minutes). Of note, opening door does trigger music change, battle music? The only motion after freeze is gun going into the 'relaxed' hold. I hope I can find a save prior to all this.
  16. "Find de Vries...". Opening door in Vox tower freezes game. Reproducible. Fought Montelli x 2. Have 2 Chainsparks in inventory. 1st battle was easy, Montell 'distracted', 2nd had cut scene with visible issues like missing pistol when killing kneeling subs.
  17. Trump seems like he has ADHD more than anything else.
  18. Yes same, here…i tried kill my self, restart the game but sadly nothing
  19. It's more accurate to say that *the character* you play cannot solve the murder. The murderer (or at least the gist of it) is fairly obvious to most players, I think by about a third of the way through. The game is using the framing of a "murder mystery" to give the main player character a reason to be there and a framework for walking around and investigating all the time. But the goal of the game and the goal of the character you're steering are quite different. The game is interested in telling the story of social transformation of a village in Europe in the middle ages, and the impact to various factions (church, nobility, townsfolk, etc.) that these changes bring about. Your character is trying to solve murders. The process of steering him enables you to learn about the various factions of the town, and choose to favor various sides at various points. It's less like a murder mystery and more like a combat-free Obsidian RPG that happens to be set in "real-ish history."
  20. Josh/Obsidian announced that Turn Based Mode is coming this week for Pillars 1. Time to head back to Eora me thinks
  21. No, there isn't. It was already addressed, twice, and quite specifically that you could substitute cognition issues for dementia. Precisely because I knew you'd try to make a big deal out of it. Have I ever once given the impression gaslighting works on me? Why you choose to keep trying it is a mystery. No, you haven't actually. You've repeatedly said that he has cognitive issues, you've just tried to obfuscate it behind what is effectively the old canard of 'just asking questions'*. What you haven't done is offer any reason for those issues. I also addressed this earlier when I pointed out that people were looking at a symptom (cognitive decline/ dementia) which is not in itself a disease per se, and requires a cause. You've failed to offer a cause, you've failed to explain (beyond everyone lying) why Trump seems to pass and you've failed to offer any explanation for why a 'disease' that is in the vast majority of cases progressive and would have obvious progression over 8 years hasn't progressed significantly. Trump is still, Trump, 8 years later. He made it through two years of presidency, two election campaigns, all the scrutiny and stress etc. You may hate the comparison, and there's a reason for that, but quite apart from Trumps' obsession with his enemies Joe Biden didn't make it through a campaign when he started having issues. We all know the types of people who hide behind "just asking questions". It's people who want to speculate, but also want to claim that they aren't if called on it. Considering how much you seem to hate other people speculating you certainly do love doing it yourself. *"why did doctors feel it were prudent to have trump take the MoCA?". MoCA is a cognitive test, so --> "why did doctors feel it were prudent to have trump take a [cognitive test]?" --> "why does anyone take a cognitive test? --> "because they have apparent cognitive issues that need testing". So yes, you are saying that Trump has an issue, and it's a cognitive one.
