Wasn't the earlier consensus that BGE2 will end up vaporware just like Star Citizen? ;)

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

I wish it would. Instead we get another checkbox simulator :(

BGE2 will likely be just another standard homogenized Ubisoft open world game. That's not to say that those games are bad, they're usually fairly good, it's just that they're all nearly exactly the same.

I just remembered I backed Bard's Tale 4 for the $95 Premier Collector's Edition - Early Bard. Expected delivery October 2017.. hehe.

I'm not regretting anything although I'm sure I'm gonna hate the game. I just couldn't play the Grimrock games, they felt so ancient, and this reminds me of those.

But isn't this exactly how the old Bard's Tale was?

Personally didn't gave any money to that, as I never really played such games.

So BG&E 2 is an MMO now?!

Count me out...

I don't want to seem like I'm picking on you, but the two games looking like day and night in the first trailer already wasn't enough to put you off? xD

I have no idea what that means.

There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

I have no idea what that means.

Relatively cutesy, cel shaded, singleplayer game about a photographer vs a photorealistic game about a punk monkey pirate that's multiplayer or mmo.

Oh it's a prequel instead of you know, actually continuing the story (for what the story was worth). And prequels nowadays are synonymous with reboots.

They missed an opportunity by not continuing Jade's story, I would have been really happy for even an origin story on Jade.

There was just so many layers to her personality, moreso than we even see in alot of rpg's (and the game wasn't an rpg but) maybe that's because there was really no character like Jade.

Basically a foster parent who doubles as a photographer and racer. At the time in which it came out and even by today's standard, there's still nothing quite like the first game and Jade is such a great character. I think that's what disappoints me about this new one.

I suppose I'm part of the following the first game has though.

Will it really be an MMO (not playable single player offline) just seems like an odd choice. Then again, Ubisoft has been pushing the online multiplayer more abd more as of late.

Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother?

What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest.

Begone! Lest I draw my nail...

True, guess I should've seen that from a mile away.

They were and I loved all three of them (and even the fourth on PS2). But since we have viable 3D graphics now I was hoping for updated game mechanics, like Bethesda did with Fallout. I played those games despite having crappy 3D and movement, not because of it.

Apparently Life is Strange will be getting a sequel as a comic book miniseries.

I've seen rumor/speculation that it will be an extension for the Bae Ending, perhaps as a remedy for the original rushed one, but again, speculation.

And I guess it's good promotion for the next season if they reveal it soon.

I know this isn't the "correct" section or whatever but I figure it would be better and more suitable to post here...

You do know that trailer is fake, right?

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

And near literally every actor with a half way appropriate look and physicality has been linked to playing Geralt.

Keanu Reeves would make a good Geralt.

He has the action-anti-hero part of it down pat, but his features don't really look the part IMO.

**But that doesn't mean that they couldn't —make— him look the part.
