I guess it's pretty much over now that they fired the actor that plays Riggs and that Riggs got shot in the chest in the last episode I've read they're trying to recast and keep it going but I dunno if the plan is a new actor playing the same character or a new actor playing a new character. I've also read they might try to recast a woman for the role but eh, I think I'm probably done with it even if they miracle a 3rd season. It just really tanked my interest when Tulip became such a wilting flower. The last couple episodes of season 3 suddenly have been really good, and season 4 started out really good as well?! ... Did a quick trip to google and it turns out the writers have changed. There's quite a few changes from comic with different characters but the story is mostly there. My main problem with TWD is that they made great characters in the comic totally unlikable in the TV Series and when they killed them off, I just didn't care about them. injurai Posted May 14, 2018 Share Posted May 14, 2018 Well, TWD also had double the episodes ordered up on half the budget. Which basically tanked the series while it was just getting legs. If it wasn't for that strong establishing mini-series of a first season and the fact that people were hungry for a long-form zombie flick then I think it would have died instead of becoming the... zombie that it is.
