This is actually a really interesting documentary. A lot of nuance; especially in regards to the different types of people involved

Well I am from Europe Finland. I have never visited Spain or Catalonia. As for the video. I am PRO prostitution as legal in Europe. That said of course there are sadder stories like that pimping etc but lets not mix legal with illegal prostitution. If you visit Europe from America you really should check in what countries prostitution is legal if that is your thing.

 

As for Catalonia really getting independence from Spain in future I don't believe it though many Catalonais will certainly disagree with that belief.

 

For example compare to USA. In America different states may have different laws regarding many things. Europe is pretty much divided in what countries prostitution is legal and where it is illegal.

I tried asking about the situation a bit back. Was curious to know his take. I'm skeptical that anything close to a white genocide is actually coming and further if it was I'd expect the rest of the western world to step in. But given the state of the west maybe it wouldn't these days. Just look at Myanmar. Iraq wouldn't have been touched if the Bush administration didn't have old business and the kurds would be worse of today. Now even look at Palestine. Land reform also is rarely successful, so that's another whole can of worms.

 

Still, I'm still skeptical about reports because it's the perfect mental masturbatory nightmare that racists could use to fuel their agenda. So far I only have a few clues as they have come through Reuters.

No. I was implicitly referring to a subset of racists who would happen to be white and would spin a narrative of FUD out of what are currently insufficient findings. To be fair to her, all she would achieve by opposing the army is renewed martial law and more years in jail. She's not the one with the power, while a 'free' election was held the military retained an absolute veto (and had a large chunk of the parliamentary seats reserved for it).

 

China would be about the only one able to stop it, maybe Bangladesh if they got serious about an actual invasion but they have far more serious problems.

What's really, REALLY funny (and utterly bonkers) though is that the argument was often made against legalizing gay marriage because it would eventually lead to a slippery slope where you'd also have to legalize pedophilia (you know, ignoring the actual entire reason while we don't accept pedophilia: it involves the underaged whom we do not recognize as being capable of making that sort of decision for their best interest vs. consenting adults)...while meanwhile, here they are arguing the complete logical opposite - illegalizing this form of pedophilia will somehow mean that you have to legalize (or recognize, since the issue has been forced at this point) gay marriage.

Well, depends on what the person thinks 'gun control' means, versus your concept of it. Some want more rigorous background checks, etc. which isn't really 'taking away' anything, after all. We call ourselves "the land of the free" here in the US. Isn't THAT a crock? Here in the land of the free 90% of the people seem to WANT the government to tell us "You can't have this. You can't watch that. You can't read this, listen to that, say this, think that, You can't eat that, you can't drink this, you can't marry him/her/them, you can't take your kids there, or read/teach/tell them this. Yes that is your house but we get to tell you what trees you can have, color you can paint it, pets that can live in it, or kinds of vehicles you can park in front of it. The money you earn isn't really yours, And don't forget to get on your knees and beg permission to do any work to that home you don't really own. Or drive the car you bought on the roads you paid for." And if the government ever thinks someone else will pay them more in taxes for that home they will just take it right away from you and give it to them and f--k you if you don't like it.

 

90% of the people think it's OK for the government to do whatever the f--k it pleases to whomever as long as it's doing to to things/people they decided they don't like. But when they come after THEIR toy/right/homes they scream bloody murder and utterly fail to see the logical paradox of the whole thing.

 

And to think the one group who thinks the government should leave ALL of us alone are the crazy ones. Go figure.
