August 24, 200421 yr I think they are... The one to the right is a girl right? So thick... big girls need love too...
August 24, 200421 yr They do seem remarkably similar to the repulic soldier's armor from the first game. It has been five years afterall. This must be the new version. Either that or they're Citadel Station security. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
August 24, 200421 yr I think they are... The one to the right is a girl right? So thick... big girls need love too... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Big??? Big t1ts maybe! Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes! "I don't see a problem...then again, SW isn't my life, so what do I know...." - some who makes 27.8 post per day on a SW forum!

August 24, 200421 yr yeah, they are probally republic, either that or Telos has its own planatary defense force. Notice the helmets. They are similar to the Alliance soldiers from Episode 4.
August 24, 200421 yr ACK! Sexy Republican Guard Hijacked this thread! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who's talkin about sexy??? Not me i just said big t1tties. Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes! "I don't see a problem...then again, SW isn't my life, so what do I know...." - some who makes 27.8 post per day on a SW forum!
August 24, 200421 yr My thinking is they are connected to Citadel Station's security. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think they're just posers with ugly armor.
August 24, 200421 yr ...and shouldn't they hold their blasters in a more professional position? Can they be any MORE lax in being a guard?? "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle
August 24, 200421 yr The Republic soldiers on Manaan wore similar uniforms and helmets, except in red not yellow...
August 24, 200421 yr It's more of an orange... And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
August 24, 200421 yr Is it just me or does the centre guy look like that annoying Jedi Master from Dantooine? The one who kept going on about the 'all too familiar path'.
August 24, 200421 yr Somewhat similar, but Vrook had grey hair and was voiced by Ed Asner. The guard has neither. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
August 24, 200421 yr They're probably republic forces. Looks better too. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
August 24, 200421 yr Is it just me or does the centre guy look like that annoying Jedi Master from Dantooine? The one who kept going on about the 'all too familiar path'. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, he looks more like Davik Kang.
August 24, 200421 yr security personel, .........problely honor guard of telos. Strength through Mercy Head Torturor of the Cult of the Anti-gnome
August 24, 200421 yr If you recall in KOTOR Carth came across an old friend that told him Dustil was on Korriban. That's not the important part, if recall asking him 'I assume you two know each other' and the guy says that Carth and him served in the milita on Telos. I think that these guys are in the Telos Milita.
August 24, 200421 yr I was thinking Telos Militia as well. It would make sense that their uniforms are similar to Republic uniforms. I thought the middle guard looked a lot like Marlin Brando. Is that just crazy? I thought "godfather" more than "vrook".
August 24, 200421 yr Hmm...I dont see it. *shrug* And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
August 25, 200421 yr Well, Marl did say he was quitting the dueling rings. Perhaps he somehow escapped Taris and got a job working security on Telos. If only he were carrying a double bladed vibrosword... I respect Marl because he was always the hardest to kill in the dueling ring...though that isn't saying much.
August 25, 200421 yr In fairness, does armor for different factions (Republic Soldier, security guard, etc.) have to look that different? I mean think of some of the armies of the countries on earth. Actual military garb, does the US Army uniform look drastically different than the Canadian army uniform? Color differences and slight differences in helmet, but overall pretty similar. So why's it such a big deal if (and it's not even certain that that armor will be in the final KOTOR2 product) that armor and the Republic armor looks similar, except for the color? "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
