Ganrich Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I'm not sure about the $5m goal, but i expect the two below are almost a given. $4.5m has probably been met with the $55ish K from Slacker + PayPal on the Portal we have probably already gained the $100k necessary. Anyway, I hope we get the all. 60 days is a long time to get those remaining goals. So I am hopeful. 1
Ganrich Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Update: $45k from slacker backer, and on Fig they have said that PayPal has gathered $42k. So, something around $5k is required to reach $4.5m. 2
ThatUndeadLegacy Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Im sure it will spike when they finally transfer the fig funds over, i know im going to be spending more.
Karkarov Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Im sure it will spike when they finally transfer the fig funds over, i know im going to be spending more. I think that has already been done. Fairly sure it is all on the backer portal now.

mumbogumshoe Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) New update about the slacker backer money. It's standing at $49,494 right now, up just a little bit more than 4,000 compared to yesterday. That's not good. If it continues like this we'll probably not make the 5 million goal. On the bright side, the 4.5 million goal is in the bag. Edited March 1, 2017 by mumbogumshoe

We're dealing with relatively small amounts, so the daily amount cant indicate much. It will spike when word gets around and it will be low on silent days. Can't see predictions having any value now. 2
molotov. Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Obsidian needs to release some footage and make some interviews. I'm so eager to have an animancer companion that I would even go to IGN! 1

Mikeymoonshine Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 60 days is a long time, we still have a chance for Ydwin and a good chance for sea monsters I think.

Leeuwenhart Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 So... 100k in 3 days? 57 days left for another 500k... should be a walk in the park
Boeroer Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Excuse my noddleness, but where can one see the current state including slacker backers & paypal pledges? Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Mikeymoonshine Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Excuse my noddleness, but where can one see the current state including slacker backers & paypal pledges? Bob from fig is posting daily updates in comments section on the fig page until they work out some kind of live counter. https://www.fig.co/campaigns/deadfire#forum 5
molotov. Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 So... 100k in 3 days? 57 days left for another 500k... should be a walk in the park Almost 100k in 3 days, but if Obsidian don't do some interviews or release some raw footage that number will go down quite fast. 2
Mikeymoonshine Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Yeah, they need to keep promoting the backer portal and the stretch goals if they want more pledges. The campaign is over and and a lot of people don't know that they can still pledge, or that pledging now will mean more additions to the final product. 4
mumbogumshoe Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Quick new update from bob over at fig, Slacker Backer money stands at 54,020 right now. 1
Boeroer Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Thanks for the info guys! Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Mikeymoonshine Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 That's not too bad if PayPal is similar or more.
Black Hound Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Well, I was late to the party (As I was with POE originally) but I did get the Slacker Backer for 30$! Not the most, but what I can afford and I'm glad I can support Obsidian. 7
Boeroer Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Another thing to mention: once the Black Isle Bastard pirate crew reaches its funding goal (currently 25% funded) another 5000$ will be added, eventually reaching 5 million. So come and join! 8 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Icesong Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Fig's slacker backer pledges are up to $56,899 today. Also of interest, ObsidianEric(head of marketing) on Reddit responded to a person doubting we'll reach 5 million, telling him to take heart and that they have a (marketing) plan. 10
Mikeymoonshine Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 slacker backer total is $64,975 and the backer portal is at $51,919 So money is still coming in at a reasonable rate but it's slowing down now. Hopefully whatever plan they have will help.
mph Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) Apparently there's ~$50k unaccounted for (we're at a ~4.58m with just ~120k total in Slacker Backers and Backer Portal). The aforementioned plan is to slowly raise the investment cap, isn't it? Edited March 9, 2017 by mph
Nokturnal Lex Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 "Why are Sea Monsters a stretch goal?" is the real question. What self respecting dungeon master creates a sea faring campaign without Sea Monsters!?!? What is wrong with you?!?! 2
