Daaave Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 story. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Carth Vader Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 I can't wait for some new angry udies like Bastila had.
nightcleaver Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 New planets. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BLASPHEMY!! You dare not to even mention story or story-related issues?? ...anyway... Like someone else said, story. I would say Atris on the side, but given that we don't technically know she'll be in the game... I'm just looking forward to the whole thing. I would've been happy with an official script of some sort that took place in the Revan series after the first game, but this is a lot better, much more than necessary. I'm looking forward to all the gameplay improvements the most, I guess, just for this being a game continuation.
Taran'atar Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 New story. If new characters had been included as an option, it might've been close. You missed one crucial option: Atris. Mira's better looking.
Charles Vrike Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 hard to chose but i selected jedi to start but its tied with STORY.
TSAdmiral Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 If you look at it on a more technical term, the PC and NPCs are the same as the story basically. But where's the "Atris" option!?
kingoftheworldx Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Definitely a good story. It's an intriguing plot that drives the motivation for gameplay. The combat system comes next on my list.
Sugrob Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I'm looking forward to K2 to finally offer us some role-play value, more than anything. And that means more choices in how/where you take your own path, not just the pathetic three predefined light/dark/neutral options in pretty much everything that was in KotOR. I hope for TSL to be an R-P-G.

RevanH Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Looking forward to everything listed, but if I had to choose one, it would be the new story. From what they've released about the storyline, it sounds awesome.
Evil_Manbeastly_Beast Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 these prestige classes sound cool...especially the sith ones...buti feel there are too many....actually i reconsider there is only three for each side and that is good......................yes it is very good but i still dont understand what theyre purpose is...can someone enlighten me?

SmkJaguar Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 T3-M4 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did he(?) ever actually do anything other than splice that door on Taris? I remember getting him, and just kind of leaving him in my roster for most of the game. Although I did take him along after acquiring HK-47(sp?). I just couldn't resist the opportunity that some acidic dialogue between the two would crop up (and I wasn't disappointed either ). That and the cut scene after the Leviathan when you ask T3-M4 about his thoughts (and Mission's quip afterwards) made me wonder if he bothered to start up a dialogue with anyone (or if anyone other than HK would start up with him). I had him at times in my party for considerable lengths of time, and there would be nothing but silence, unless I chose to engage him in some small talk. Oh, and this is off track, but I figure Carth isn't so bad. I mean I probably would have thought little on the matter, except that when we were about to take on Davik, Canderous and Carth start up . The timing couldn't have been better, and the exchange made me laugh. If Carth is quick witted enough to score a couple of zingers off of Canderous (and still stay standing), he's alright in my books . So I guess that leads up to another of my hopes. More inter-NPC random dialogue, with more dialogue hopefully triggered by certain party combinations at certain trigger points in the game. And with T3-M4 in, hopefully this time he'll heed my request and occassionally jump in with something to say (even if it's just beeping and whistling an undecipherable question or some encouragement).

I've never actually used both in my party at the same time. What does the dialogue say? "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
SmkJaguar Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 He has a dialogue with HK? I've never actually used both in my party at the same time. What does the dialogue say? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't remember the exact quotes (can't even remember what HK was talking about), but I do remember it was funny. R2 and 3PO have nothing on TM and HK. [edit] I think it works better if you have TM the moment you step into the droid shop that HK's in. Keep talking to the shop keeper about HK's abilities and the circumstances in which he was found. My memories are faulty but I think TM and HK should have their first exchange there. One or two auto dialogues should come up later if you keep them both in your party long enough after.
